  1. I know many of you who are watching events around our team get many more perspectives and opinions then I do living in Canada. But it seems that CG has been doing a great deal of travelling lately and drumming up interest. And it sems that all has been quiet on what league we will be playing in next year. Has anyone heard any movement on the "Atlantic League" prospect? While it has been fun playing in the 3rd division this season, I think it is important not to get too comfortable playing in this backward, stagnating league. Many of us don't want us to return to the Premier League so.... where does it leave us?. Cheers
  2. Probably because he is completely handcuffed as far as resources go and there is a transfer embargo...
  3. It has always amazed me how we get castigated for not signing catholics(who were a significant minority in Glasgow) and they use it as some sort of positive to their credit that they always signed Protestants. If you had 10 boys playing and 7 of them were Protestants( as the numbers show) you'd have to sign Protestants in order to be competitive wouldn't you? fuckin grinds my gears that
  4. Have been doing a great deal of reading on this forum since joining. I know this has been discussed a great deal in the past but what does everyone think about the following changes because as I see it, from a North American perspective, Rangers need to make dramatic changes if they want to be relevant in the 21st Century. 1. Staying in the Scottish League the way its currently organized is suicide. The qualty of Football in our league is horrendous.(as evidenced by the fact that there isn't much difference in quality from where i can see between div. 3 and premier league) I hope Charles Green is in talks with other Northern European Leagues to form a Northern Atlantic League of some sort? Again, I know there are roadblocks here 2. Play our games in the summer months. This has its drawbacks, i know however, this will create a niche market for viewership and is a good way for us to tap into other foreign markets( when those supporters are craving football) while giving the thousands of fans in Europe an alternative for t.v. we would also be able to have all games on Sat. at 3pm which gives viewers ONE kickoff time (3pm) or whatever. 3. our kit deal needs to be with someone popular and worldwide. ie. Adidas, Under Armour, Warrior. so that swag can be sold worldwide I know lots of you ar going to blow holes in all of this but I just feel we need to move into the 21st century as a club and the last 12 months as difficult as it has been gives us an opportunity I hope we don't throw away. Cheers for reading lads
  5. ok first off, my username is in reference to a famous victory over our hated rivals a long time ago. anyone over 20 might remember. 2nd, my other accout with username "weedurranty" has had some problems so i was forced to open a new account. So everyone who is paranoid, just relax

  11. Hi All. New member from Canada. Ive just finished watching the live stream of the game and was very proud of that halftime show. However, I was curious why Davie Weir and Gazza along with some others didn't manage up whilst a part timer like Charlie Miller was invited. Anyone shed some light. Cheers guys
