Proud to be a football fan.

Some of the religious stuff is fun with the banter and the songs, and winding up the hoops etc.

But the bigots who takes it seriously - that the club just represents 'protestants'

It's just kind of embarrassing nowadays..

When it comes down to it - fuck all the religious baggage. fuck the queen and the pope.

Agree that there is a split in the support, somewhat.

Many supporters feel more Scottish than British, but have no problem flying the Union flag as a symbol of the clubs heritage.

Even although they could give or take the political union.

There is a bunch of the more hardcore Ulster based support that seems to be threatened by the Saltire though.

10 a side would be an improvement. More space for a passing game.

Or increase the goal width 2 or 3 feet.

So there might be on average 5 goals a game instead of 1 or 2.

Some of the posts here are a disgrace to the club.

It's this anti-Scottish element that gives Rangers a bad name.

How the f*ck can you hate on the national team, and still say you love Scotland?

They REPRESENT this country. All teams. Regardless of who the manager is at the time, or the SFA.

It's bigger than that.

Yes they are shite, most of the time, but thats why there's a party atmosphere to make up for that.

And there's a few drunks in See you Jimmy hats fannying about in kilts ? Big deal.

It's mostly the extremist dickheads with a political agenda trying to drive a wedge between Rangers and Scotland.

Most decent fans can see that.
