What a Team Thanks everyone, like I said before memory slipping!!! I did, however go to my first game at Ibrox in 1958 and it was indeed a great era. I have photos of Rangers Rally held in Greens, Glasgow which was taken in early 60's with Ronnie McKinnon and Jimmy Millar. Fond memories Would be great to see scans of those pictures mate Sorry, don't have a scanner, shame because they are great photos.

The Rangers Rally was an annual event when the player of the year award was held. All the players and management attended with 1000's of supporters. Think it was held on a Sunday evening.

Just done a bit of research and you are correct. Forrest, Greig, McKinnon, Baxter, Henderson all played between 1960-1973. However, Ritchie, Caldow, Shearer, Millar and Wilson all played between 1953-1967. The old brain cells are getting a bit mixed up I fear, but still have memories of 5-0 win over Morton which must have been around 1958. Never mind, they were good days and I had the privillege of seeing some Gers greats through the 60's and 70's.

Not sure, it was a long time ago. I have tried to research this but can't find any info, thought some of the 'older' bears might be able to help.

My first outing to Ibrox in 1958, as a seven year old, saw Rangers v Morton. Score if I remember correctly was 5 - 0. I will never forget that day, never been anywhere with such excitement etc and supported the Gers to this day. Haven't been to a game since Scottish Cup Final against Celtic when we lost. Anyway, was trying to remember the team that day way back in 1958. Ritchie Shearer Caldow Greig McKinnon Baxter Henderson Forrest Miller Brand Wilson Is this correct? Thanks for any help with this.

I was brought up in the days of the not so nice Rangers songs and thought it would be good for the fans to sing something that is about Rangers and no one else!!!! How sick of Chelsea - they have a manager who took them to a whisker of the league and a CL final and they sack him!!!! Walter must have been shaking in his boots today. Thought QOS put up a good performance today and had me doubting for a while. The Gers came through though, thank God, although it's not the end of season many of us wanted. Here's to next season. Well done Gers.
