Please take into consideration that anyone could have won us 9 in a row if they had miss-managed our accounts and signed players no matter how much they cost! The reason he was succesful was because he got us into debt (he spent money we didn't have) thus creating the state of affairs today. Anyone who can back him for running us into the ground needs to realise that you or I could have done what he did. I could quite easily spend other peoples money!!!!! David Murray chased a dream knowing full well that it was eventually going to catch up with us.

sorry but I think Nacho has been told to say this by Murray, it smacks too much like a defence case for the sale of King Carlos. Nacho is saying Rangers did not want to sell and that we tried to tie Carlos to a new contract......................sorry but thats just bull and anyone who believes that are falling for more Murray spin. Rangers wanted the money, plain and simple and if they did indeed offer a new contract (big IF) to Carlos they must have made it so derisory that they knew he'd knock it back.

Fans of one of the most successful clubs in the world should have a bit more about them than the poor lot that supports the Gers in 2008. I’m 45 years of age and I’ve never seen our support so docile and ill informed as we are now. We are probably the most gullible set of fans on the planet and nothing seems to suggest that we are any nearer to getting back our pride as a support. 3 main issues that we are either afraid to address or show no interest are as follows: Our present financial state? Our present custodian? Our inability to organise a supporters group that speaks for the everyday fan, without saving/shares schemes or other irrelevant glossy incentives. Firstly our financial plight. We haven't a Scooby really? Are we in debt to the tune of £15m -£20m and does a buyer need to buy the £50m shares that Murray and MIH underwrote along with any additional costs to take control of the club. So the basic question is why are we not asking what figure is required to buy Rangers. Murray has never been asked this question by any of our representatives..why not? Secondly our custodian. He has run us into the ground, there is no case for his defence. He needs to go..so why are we not telling him this at games? He needs to hear loud and clear that he should find a buyer ASAP and also asked why there hasn’t been anyone to take control? Oh and back to that million dollar question, how much are you wanting David? Finally, The present groups of fan organisations have had their chance and IMO failed miserably, lets inform Murray we want answers, we as fans and share holders should be able to ask at what price is our club for sale..or do we carry on burying our heads in the sand.

very good article and like you I'm now worried as to where the money will come from to strengthen the team. As Rangers supporters its time we asked questions as to what state our financies are really in and need to be kept abreast of where shares ie IMH etc go and if we are liable for other debts that I dread might be kept from public knowledge. Murray needs to get the message that he is accountable and we the fans need to know the true state of affairs. If the accounts and debt are as bad as I think, then the fans will be in a position to use this against Murray and thus open different avenues for a takeover by another party. The way things stand at the moment our chairman is ducking and diving and he is pulling the wool over eveyones eyes.

from what I hear Boyd doesn't try a leg in training and is a bad example to the younger players. HE needs to get into his head he's a professonal and should act like one. The reason he doesn't play is simply down to his attitude and lack of professionalism, therefore its about time we stopped thinking this guy is world class when in fact he's a lazy, overweight non trier. HE and 75% of the squad shopuld be punted ASAP and we as a club need to rebuild from the top to the bottom in time for season 2009-2010
