Spl2 is on the table now for a number of reasons and none will benefit Rangers only other clubs who have been kicking us for the last 14 months.
1) If it's by invitation only you can pretty much bet clubs like Dunfermline and Hearts will go newco before the start of next season and face next to no sanctions, the last sentence in the article more or less admitted to that.
2) We join an spl2 and we are under liewells jackboot from day one, Spl/Septic can make up any rule they want to and keep us down. I have no doubt that for being moved up the leagues we would have to agree to certain conditions. (wage caps,share of gate income etc)
3) The spl filth that have stolen our money,tried to strip us of titles and voted us out of the league now want us back for the blue pound.
i know it's not exactly been fantastic in the sfl so far but our club must stand firm and work our way back up the right way one league at a time. Some of the clubs who now want our money so badly wanted to kick us to death not that long ago, the hypocrisy is shocking from them.

Let them rot. Listening to a Dunfermline fan in work earlier infuriated me. His argument was, if they go bust and reform as a newco, they should be allowed to stay in division 1. They wouldnt be able to survive in the third division. What a load of bullshit.
I can see this happening with them and new Hearts 2013 plc ltd company before the start of next season.
It's one rule for Rangers and another for everyone else in Scotland, my guess is they want to form a new league body and change the rules asap as they know this is likley to happen to at least 3 or 4 clubs over the next 18 months.
When Hearts go under soon that would be the end of the spl and they won't allow that to happen at any cost. Won't be long till we get the placing Hearts and Dunfermline in sfl3 is bad for Scottish football argument started by the media wait and see.

Maybe if I these innocent fans had voiced an opinion that had balanced out those in their midst who were relishing what Rangers have had to go through I'd be more sympathetic to their plight, but they didn't. Sure it's sad when part of the history of the Scottish game goes, but that's life.

Pretty much every DAFC fan joined in the Rangers bashing like a pack of hyena's last summer. They wanted us wiped off the map, sorry but for me you reap what you sow in life.

Surly now sporting integrity must take over and harsh penalties imposed on them.

The bit about Green failing as chief executive of Sheffield United is baws.
He may not have been popular with the fans, but by the time he left them they were the only club in English league football to have a zero debt level.
As for Green trying to destroy Scottish football the sfa/spl.lieswell had already done that long before Green got here.

To be honest i'm more concerned about the vast amounts of public money that has been used to revamp the area around septic park, while the area around Ibrox has had next to nothing spent on it by GCC.
Massive amounts of council tax,lottery & income tax money has been used build velodromes, football training centers and other sporting developments right on their doorstep which will no doubt benefit them in some way or another.
How much money are they being paid to host the 2014 games opening ceremony as well?, this is what we really should be concerned about imho.

Well said.. I noticed that too.
My guess on this is that he/Spl/Lieswell had already tried,convicted and sentenced Rangers of cheating in their minds and just expected a rubber stamp from LNS which would justify the theft of that money.
For over £2m of money just to vanish into thin air with very little being said about it is disgraceul. That money should have at least gone to the creditors pot.
SPL/SFA wanted us to pay football debts but not take any football prize money earned in return, utter hypocrisy imo.

Doncaster said a few weeks back before LNS come out with a verdict that he would tell everyone where the £2,000,0000 he/spl stole from Rangers went to as well, still waiting for that annoncement.

No your wrong, Mols scored before they (Celtic) had kicked off, they equalised to make it 1-1.
I stand corrected.
Still main point is why would a team who dilberarately set out to lose score a goal against us?, every goal for or against was vital that day.
Pretty sure they almsot scored a 2nd as well from Criag brewster.

We are simply not ready for an spl 2 right now and i don't see that it would really make us any more money than we are getting at the minute anyway, Can the skint spl really take another 10 or 12 clubs and pay them the millions they promised?
No huge rush to get back to the pishy spl anyway, whats the point even if we win it yahoo fc get the CL spot and if we struggled for the first 18 months or so which i think we would it would give the lieswell lapdogs in the media a chance to kick us some more.
The SPL want the blue pound and they also want to steal our tv rights out from under us, if we agree to this then we may as well just run the white flag over Ibrox cause it will be a surrender to those that have tried to kill our club.
