  1. I don't know whether we should be laughing at them, or feel sorry for them?

It's situations like this that make me, oh so happy, to be born a blue nose.

Can't they see how desperate they look? Please, please, like us? Please, please, give us some of their titles?

Never defeated, always cheated? Right enough, so it is. They are unbelievable, begging, no good, victimized, horrible scum!

They should go and join a league of their own, that way they're guaranteed to win it. Or do they already think that they own the SPFL?

  2. The SPFL can't do a fucking thing, since the hearing, and ruling was done by another body, SPL, and NO SPFL rules were broken, because it didn't even exist at the time.

The SPFL have no jurisdiction over the EBT case whatsoever, and should just keep quiet about it.

How desperate are these cunts? If this was Rangers doing this, I'd be so embarrassed, but you couldn't mark their neck with a blow torch.

The only club to have suffered through the use of EBT's is Rangers. We'd be in a much better place now, and there'd be no talk of taigs going for 9 in a row.

Enjoy your Tainted Titles ya bunch of inbreeding bastards! WATP!!

  3. I never realised that he was still so young. Him, Pena, and Herrera, could be real assets for us in the coming seasons.

I do believe that if we can get our squad playing at their best, we have a chance of winning something.

We may still be light years behind the taigs, but if our current squad can perform at their best, frequently, we may not need to replace a whole team yet again, at the end of the season.

We really need a period of calm. Let others ride the Rollercoaster for a change, I'm sick of it. ??

  4. I remember that I used to phone my mum to get her to video Sportscene for me. I'd watch it on the Sunday, and some of the goals weren't quite as, outstanding, tremendous, sensational, or 30 yard screamers as they looked from the terracing. There were also some goals that looked quite ordinary, at the time, but looked stunning on TV.

All goals against the taigs are superb. I have a favourite Tom Forsythe goal, in a cup final, against them, to win 3-2, and it was from all of 6-9 inches out, an absolute screamer. I never saw it at the game, and videos weren't around in those days as it was scored at the other end. But the goal won us the cup, therefore is a great goal.

  5. He is one of the many reasons we need to know what schools they went to.

I blame the teachers myself! ( Don't tell my daughter though, she's a teacher, although there are only good schools here. No St Catholic schools in Lewis)

Can't make this because of work. Quietly confident we will be taking three points of them. Two or three nil. Just keep winning and keep building the confidence up. Couple more wins before we get the taigs. So yeah a two or three goal win will do nicely and no injuries and bit more game time for the team and Pena on for longer as well.

I'll take your seat for the game then mate, yes?

On the other hand it might be better if I go to your work for you, and you go to the game.

Mind that time you told the most unconvincing playground fairytale story about streaming Mexican games amd remembering all the players cause you don't have dementia then when I asked about the top 5 players in the Mexican league you didn't bother to reply cause your full of shite?

    Yes so do I:lol:

I don't know much about Mexican players, but I do know that they don't travel well.

Oh hang about, I've answered the wrong post. Taxi!!!

I'm not defending Ally at all, he's possibly the worst football manager I've ever seen at professional level and I have no respect for him as a person either.

I'm saying it isn't fair to say he is 100% responsible for the footballing side of things, MW left us in a brutal state and that's his fault, not Ally's.

They both have a share of the blame mate. Maybe it's because I adored Ally so much, as a player, and pundit, that I feel so let down more by him.

I was more upset about Davie Weir, than MW

We're like a family, and Ally, and DW, were part of that family, whereas MW wasn't.

I just wish that McCoist would keep his mouth shut mate, he's become a laughing stock.

I agree but MW left a helluva rebuilding job, he needs to take some form of responsibility for that.

MW did more in his time at Ibrox, than AMC did in 4 years. MW got us into the Premiership! MW won that trophy 1st time round, AMC never won it in 2, 3, or 4 attempts.

MW had us playing a better style of football, his fault being that the players were not good enough.

AMC had a decent team, in his first year, and fucked it up, in every trophy we entered that season.

MW has taken a new job at Forest. Why hasn't Ally, gone back into management?

  10. Does he not think that he had any part in us being light years behind everyone, nevermind celtic.

I sometimes wonder where his head is at. He leaves himself wide open to the reaction, I suspect is in this thread.

I won't call him a cunt out of respect of what he achieved as a player. His managerial performance was shocking, embarrassment, after embarrassment, when he was in charge, and the football on show was awful.

Brass necks and blow torches, are phrases often heard when discussing Mr McCoist these days. He's a bigger embarrassment than Terry Butcher, and that's not easy...???

  11. I've watched it a few times, not recently though. It didn't paint us too badly, I think, and was a fare representation of how things were back then. I'd like to watch it again, with my kids, to gauge how different life is today. We are too PC, and too easily offended these days. Whatever happened to "Sticks, and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me"? Fenian Alley! ???

Even at that they are showing West Ham v Spurs at the same time as us v them

Yes I've seen that. It's a bit disrespectful of them, but their main hobby is the EPL so I suppose they've got to show their games, at a set time, even if there's a bigger game on.

You'd think that one of the other TV companies, ITV, channel 4, FIVE, BBC, etc could afford to put in a decent bid for the SPFL games, since they're all paying fortunes to televise other sporting events. Then maybe when sky, & BT, get massive numbers cancelling their sports subscriptions, from Scotland, & NI, they might sit up, and take notice?

I don't think that any Scottish football fan likes the way there's so much money in English football, yet next to fuck all in ours. I was even shocked when I saw what the BBC paid to screen MOTD,& MOTD 2, every week. I can't remember what it was, but it was a substantial amount of money, from the license fee. SKY pay over £1billion, for EPL games per season. If they paid the SPFL just 10% of that, as that's approximately our population stat compared to the rest of UK, that would be £100million coming into our game. Now that figure could change things for the SPFL. We'd be more on par with the EFL Championship, as opposed to the Irish League, which we are heading towards.

I remember when a top 6 Scottish team, played a top 6 English team, it would be a competitive game, & the Scottish clubs held their own against them. Now, if we were drawn against an EPL club in the Europa League, we'd be hoping that they'd rest some of their 1st team players, in order for us to stand a chance. It shouldn't be like that.

I better stop now before I start growing a big chip on my shoulder about this. I'm only asking for a fare deal for us. Surely just 10% of money spent on football, in the UK, should be spent on the SPFL. We're going to end up losing more, & more,, of our youngsters to supporting teams down south, because it's the only product they see, even if they're parents don't have SKY. A fare share is all I'm asking, maybe then we'd see Scottish teams in the EL group stages, and maybe one of the big two getting to the final occasionally? Is it too much to ask?

  13. I like other sports like rugby league, and ice hockey. This new freesports channel has both, and the very best of both, the Aussie NRL in rugby league, and the NHL in ice hockey.

Maybe they'll pick up the SPFL once the current deal with sky, and btsport runs out. It wouldn't exactly cost them too much although sky would still bid for the four Rangers v celtic games every season, it's all they really want out of Scottish football!.
