Greig was our regular penalty taker for a season or two, during Jock Wallace's first stint, I think.
He also had a good shot in him, and scored area free kicks, I seem to recall. ??

Follow, Follow, is an iconic Rangers song which I grew up listening to, on my brothers Rangers LP, but Four Boys Had A Dream, To Start A Football Team, is my favourite modern Rangers song.
Wee Spot In Europe,is my all time favourite loyalist/traditional song. Don't even have to think about it, unless I'm having a 'Senior Moment,' always has been my favourite since I first learned the words on the Edinburgh John Greig RSC bus, way back in the very early 1970's. There was a guy on the bus who used to teach me the words to a loyalist song whenever he was on the bus, coming back from games. I've forgotten most of them now, but can usually sing along with them, but I've never forgotten Wee Spot In Europe. The bus used to stop at the Union Jack LOL, in Ballieston before each game, and the juke box, at the time, was full of 'Traditional Music' although most of the songs were medleys. In those days, following Rangers was, sometimes, better than watching Rangers, 1970-1984.

So you really want to know who the 3rd best striker in the world is then.
If Messi, and Ronaldo, are not strikers, they score a hell of a lot of goals from midfield then.
There were times when they were both averaging more than a goal a game, over a season.
The best striker on your list, at this moment in time, is Lukaku. He's scoring in,nearly, every game he plays this season.

We beat a top 6 team, who've got a good record at home. I'm delighted with the result, but not the overall performance.
When they went down to ten men, we started playing some decent football, and never looked like losing.
There's still room for improvement. We need to catch up, then overtake the sheep, before we even think about catching the taigs up.

I'd like to see Nemane start a game, in place of Windass, to see what the lad is like. If he's no better than Windass then we should give him back to City in January, as a swap for Aguerro, perhaps???

I was absolutely disgusted to hear Butcher arguing with Sutton about whether Dorrans deserved to be booked, after an incident where, it looked, he was the innocent party. Sutton said that Dorrans should never have been booked, but Butcher started arguing with him, saying that he deserved to be booked. I couldn't believe my ears. If you didn't know which co commentator was a former Rangers captain, and which one of them played for the taigs, you'd never guess by listening to them last night.
You know things are bad when Sutton's more Rangers friendly, than a former Rangers captain.
Before the game, there were Ally, Butcher, Sutton, that NI guy, and the BT guy all talking. A group of supporters* started chanting " Sutton's a wanker" and the BT guy apologised for the language, he then said " Don't you three start joining in with them". Which I thought was really funny.
* I do not know if the supporters were Rangers, or St Johnstone fans. It was, more than likely Rangers fans, but because I can't say definitely that it was, it would be wrong of me to say it was. If only the SMSM did the same? ?

I was never convinced that we were going to hold onto that 1-0 scoreline until they went down to 10 men.
We started looking like a Rangers team then. I thought that Dorrans was the MOTM, closely followed by Alves.

Friday the 13th, what could possibly go wrong!!!
It's Friday the 13th for them as well you know!
It could be them that gets all the shit luck.
We need to start thinking of Friday the 13th as being lucky for us, and shit for everyone else.
It's all in the mind...??

Is our form any better on a Friday night game, than it is on a Saturday game?
Maybe it's just the teams we've played, on a Friday night, that make me believe we're better then, than a Saturday??
Just checked our form, and we've 1 win & 1 draw on a Friday night.
We should demand more Sunday games though, as we've won all 3 this season.
0-2, away v Sheffield Wednesday.
1-2, away v Motherwell.
1-3, away v Ross County.
Our next game is on a Sunday, league cup semi final v Motherwell, at Hampden. ?

If Pena is our best player we're in a worse situation than I thought we were.
Maybe one day he'll start showing us, the fans, just how good he really is??

I was going to go to this game. But my boy's now wanting to go, as he's now got the time off work. I've given him his ticket back, since it's a televised game anyway. Don't want to steal a ticket from a regular supporter who goes most weeks, work permitting, just wouldn't feel right.
On the price front £28 is alright for this game. I've been to a few EPL games, and you won't get into many grounds for under £40. I paid £49 at Fulham! I paid £75 at the Etihad but I got a meal and a few drinks included in that price. I was on holiday in the Costa Do Rada one year 2009, I think, and got a ticket, plus bus ride to and from stadium, for 45 Euros. Barca v Celta Vigo. I can't remember the name of the town we stayed in, but it has a big theme park called Ponta something or other, and took about 90 minutes to get to Barcelona. They parked miles away from stadium, we jumped in a taxi to get there, can't remember how we got back. Just woke up in my hotel room next morning. ???

No one likes us, and we don't care!!!!!!
The media know that if they put out a story with Rangers looking bad, it sells.
Rangers fans buy it because we care about our club.
Taig fc fans buy it, because they're obsessed about our club.
All the other clubs fans buy it, because they're jealous about our club.
Rangers the ONLY story in town. ??

We won the ECWC for our Centenary Celebration, although we didn't know about it back then, as we thought we were formed in 1873. We built a Centenary Stand in 1973. We!l we put benches, to sit on, in the standing area where the Govan/ Sandy Jardine Stand is now.
Maybe we'll give Ibrox a lick of paint to celebrate 150 years, and get Rangers fans to do the job, just so that we'll know it will be done correctly. Hopefully I'll still be around in 2022, and we've stopped them getting 9 in a row by then.??

They won their 35 minute period 2-1.

The first XI lost their 35 minute period 2-0.
PS I'm only joking. I've no idea what the scores were after each 35 minute period was, though it would be interesting to find out. Maybe not though.. ???

Are there any players from any other SPFL team, other than the taigs?
We keep seeing/hearing how good the SPFL is.

Unlucky celtic.
Come on you can.still do this. Just need some of that Brendan spirit.
There's only 3 taigs in the team. I take it that Tierney is a left back, because he's shite at right back.
I clapped my hands when Scotland scored, stopped clapping when I saw who scored

If he was playing for Them, Craig Gordon would've made an effort to stop their goal going in.

Isn't he meaning bigger and better things than he has NOW?
That's how I read it, when I dropped the DR slant.

I used to like Harry. He always looked as if he was trying, which wasn't a common thing among his team mates. ??
