  1. Think it's called Passion. But yes , some go over the line.

As far as I'm concerned as long as they're not meeting outside school gates at 4 it should be ok.

I just think, as you said, people take it too far. Why can't people just keep it on a certain level without going too far? Everyone is on this forum for the one cause that is Rangers, we shouldn't be abusing each other!

  2. You're quite right with what you're saying.

And unfortunately it's led to a lot of posters being banned. Some I've agreed with and miss their input and others I don't but enjoy arguing against their point of view.

Either way RM is poorer without them in my opinion. Particularly when at the end of the day were all bears.

It's one thing having a debate about something, it's another thing abusing someone for something that has nothing to do with what people are actually talking about. I know we are all bears but it is sad that people feel they have to bring themselves down to that level to get some credence.

  3. I think people should take a good look at themselves with what they say to other users on RM. The manner in which some people take is rude and one I would expect from the other half of the city. People have differing opinions, this is a fact of life, don't start to abuse them simply for disagreeing with you. I'm not getting touchy about people disagreeing with me, far from it, I like a good debate but one in which is not brought into disrepute (sorry to use the SFA's favourite word here). What I don't appreciate is people abusing me and others with no substance whatsoever in their differing view, simply just abuse. Thought this should be pointed out.

  4. much does the course cost you?

i started it years ago but had to quit due to work commitments

It costs £50 and that includes everything including Disclosure. I agree with you 'Calvin C', you shouldn't be a ref unless you know the rules pretty damn well. That obviously isn't a pass back since you're not in full control of your knee anyway especially if it wasn't deliberate!

Haha, I wouldn't out of the blue give Celtic a penalty, no.

  5. I remember a game in either 2004 or 2005 at Ibrox and the linesman gave a Rangers player offside at a throw in, the ref had to go over and tell the linesman that you cant be offside from a throw in. Wonderful standard of officials.

Yeah the linesman obviously had a slip in concentration there, haha. Referee overall rules the game so hopefully if he is switched on then mistakes like that will be picked up on and corrected. It's if the referee makes a mistake then we have a problem...
