McCoist will score yet another own goal with the fans if he doesn't play a few of the younger players. Challenging for the title and in the final of the youth cup, there are certainly players available that can't be much worse than our current starting 11. McCulloch, Black, Law, Daly and Shiels should be dropped.

Rangers are an institution, not the management, not the board, but the club, that's why I'll be renewing my season ticket for the 20th year. It's our home, its our way of life.
-
I was a right footed player who played with my left as I wanted to be just like the great Davie Cooper. GBNF.
-
I'd play our strongest team in the cups and a mixture of regulars and the youth players in all league games. Players like Gasperatto, Telfer, Stoney, Crawford and maybe Gallagher depending on Little's injury should have at least a game or two from the start and be on the bench most weeks.

I'm an Ally fan, he's a great man manager, but I just wish he'd be his own man. I'll accept that you can't play great football all the time, but his style is to similar to Walters. As many have said, it was a great time to introduce a new philosophy, I'd be ok if he put in a few youngsters and lost the odd game, not sure how many agree though? He's to loyal to his old guard. McCulloch, despite his goal earlier, has been the worst player in the team for a while, he's to slow and more times than not plays the long ball. Loyalty is great, but winning in style is greater.

We can easily have a starting 11 that will win the league from our current team, but if McCoist is worried about our squad depth, maybe he should bleed in more youngsters to see if they are ready, especially at the back. He's had all season to start 1 or 2 youth players in the odd game. He must do it now in case he doesn't get his pot of money.

First half fine. No real complaints. Dominated, but no killer touch. 2nd half different team. Black had a great game, but was the only one. Created a few opportunities but nobody to finish them off. On here people said take Aird and Daly off before they scored. It's not that easy. Should of won but didn't, not McCoist's fault, just one of those days. What do do you think italy and Germany's said about us when we got to the Europa final?
-
I think this could be a hammering for Brechin City. I'm going for us to score at least 5. Play with a high tempo from the off and we have the width to open this team up. Daly hat trick.
-
Can someone count how many times we actually punt the ball to Daly at tomorrow's game? I've seen every game this season and I would say more often than not we pass the ball. The only player who I would say punts the ball to Daly on a regular occasion is McCulloch.

I'd like us to give the 4-1-3-2 formation a go, especially at home.
Bell
Foster
Faure
Mohsni
Wallace
Black
Aird
Law
Templeton
Daly
Little
As many have said, we need to pick up the pace when passing and close down the opposition more.
-
That could easily be a 4-1-3-2 formation as much as it is 4-1-4-1.
-
A sensible breakdown of what's going on if you just look at the available facts. The press are sure to ignore these, I just hope Rangers fans don't.
-
Hopefully this will calm a select few down to a riot. I understand trust is an issue, but some fans seem to just need take a step back for 24 hours, here what the clubs stance is before predicting all doom and gloom.
Wallace comes across very well and I wish others would give him time. He's making tough decisions that will benefit the club. This won't sit well with our corrupt media hence their constant shit stirring. Unfortunately with social media people can say what they want with little repercussions, which sometimes, for some fans, can set them on the road to 'we're all doomed' scenarios.
Cuts will and should be made. Its not ideal but its necessary. We are on a journey, we will return to our rightful place and when we get there it will be the most satisfying outcome in our clubs 141 years, and counting, history.

Gone but not forgotten.
RIP Ian.

One of the best posts I've read in a while. Perfectly sums up why we love football and more importantly Rangers. Our time will come again and we wil be sure to let everyone know, you tried to kill us off, but you couldn't complete the job. Then, now, forever.

I think Templeton has to start as his decision making was a lot better against Forfar. With two wingers on the pitch, we must use the width. Both Templeton and Aird need to hit the bylines and not cut inside every attack.
-
Would expect nothing less from such a great person. Up for a fight on and off the field. All the best Fernando.

Devastating news to hear. Thoughts are with you and your family.

One of the reasons we love football is its unpredictability. I expected a 2-0 win. I'm not going to go off my nut because of 45min or indeed after 90min if we haven't won. We don't have the god given right to win every game. We probably should, but nothing is written in stone. Except for grave stones.
McCoist has turned his team around before. I hope he does it again today.
-
One day we will talk nothing but football on the park. In the meantime, with injuries and travel I'd go with
Bell
Foster, McCulloch, Mohsni, Smith.
Black
Little, Law, MacLeod
Daly, Templeton.
This can switch to 4-4-2 with ease.
Movement is key to modern football.

A wise man changes his mind, a fool never will.

If McCoist deploys that team as a 4-1-3-2 we might get another goal fest. If its 4-4-2 I would still expect a comfortable victory.
Gazza or Laudrup?

Laudrup for me. Gazza had the 3-1 Aberdeen game, Laudrup had the 5-1 Hearts Scottish cup game, but in Europe, Gazza was posted missing more often than not. The two best non-scottish players to ever represent our club.
