I agree that he would have been better saying nothing at all, however these guys are top athletes and they got to where they are by not accepting everything thrown at them and constantly striving forward. Anyone that says they would accept a huge wage reduction, whilst dropping potentially 3 divisions in a career as short as footballers is mental and or a liar. I for one would play for nothing but thats because I have another job that brings in the dough and im not good enough to play at a higher level. Everyone that gives guys like Naismith a hard time because they are looking after themselves are deluded. This guy in particular gave his all every time he put on the shirt and for him to leave due to other persons shit running of the club is sad but I would wish him well on his move as I would other players. My thoughts are that all the negative threads should be aimed at the previous boards.

Why can't we agree to pay the full amount of debt owed over the course of say 10-15 years? Would this not be better for everyone? Everyone gets the FULL money owed, we save our club and history. Sorted. Aye we may be shite for a few years but I would take that. My wife is due to have our first boy in a few weeks and the thought of not buying him a Gers top and telling him what the stars mean on it is unthinkable

I fucking hate how every thread I read on this site, there is always someone pissed off at the opinion of another and thereafter goes into a rant because they don't agree with him/her. If you don't agree with someone then thats fine, but do us a favour and let everyone have their say. Whats the point of deadlines if you don't stick to them? As I understand it, DnF have preferred a bid from a consortium that has shown no intrest until it looked like a legitimate offer from the BK was going to be preferred. It appears (all be it from the sidelines) that the BK have the intrest of the club and DnF are arseholes. Im sure Sir Walter and the rest of the clan would not put their name to anything other than whats best for Rangers.
