I find Arsenal fans, especially the younger ones who only remember the Wenger years, to be amongst the most insufferable, smug, up themselves cunts in sport.
I would say overall the likes of West Ham and Everton are more the "quintessential English club".

Pretty shocking first innings by England there but i still fancy them to win the series.
South Africa are known chokers and i think they will throw up another choke in this one.
They're known for being chokers in tournaments, not a normal test series.

There was some stupid shot selection in there (Pieterson especially), but mainly it was a daft decision to bat first on a green top swing friendly pitch when the Saffers have a 5 man seam attack and Steyn and Morkel have been great all series.
Also why the hell did they drop Onions for that useless fuck Sidebottom, he's done nothing for nearly 2 years and has been injured alot.

Any1 watchin sportscene at the mo? Hibs are playin a team called Irvine meadow, and their strip/colours is the spitting image of ours, blue top, White shorts, black socks with red turnovers. I've never seen a strip that looks so like ours. Any1 see the game I'm talking about?
I'm led to believe that there the proddie team in Irvin as opposed to Irvine Meadow (have you never seen the Linfield strip)
The other Irvine team is Irvine Victoria and there is no "proddie team" between them, but being North Ayrshire alot of the locals are Rangers fans.

Yeah the driver and some of the police escort were killed, while a few of the players were hit. Pakistan have had to play their "home" matches in Abu Dhabi since.

Waste of time, they have an average at best squad and no money unless they get big money for St Ledger which i doubt. Ferguson's experience consists of taking a team up with far more resources than most of the other challengers. Not sure he'll be able to cope without splashing the cash about.

I always remember him as being the equivalent of Danny Murphy, stuck somewhere between decent squad player for a big team and an excellent player for a midtable team. Never quite had it to hack it at the top level.

Even more mental is the BBC rumours thing earlier saying Liverpool knocked back an £8million bid from Brum cause they want £12million for him, so they want more money than they paid for him despite him clearly flopping and doing fuck all but moping about on his twitter on the sub bench. Benitez is truly mental.

As i was saying elsewhere, stupid decision. They got rid of St Ledger and McKenna in the summer then gave him fuck all money to spend. They have one half decent striker, Mellor, and 3 shit ones, no creativity in midfield with Nicholson injured and relying far too much on Ross Wallace. Not on a great run but still comfortably midtable with a game in hand and instead of giving a manager, who in his 2 seasons has saved them from relegation and got them to the playoffs, time and money to improve they waste money sacking him and bringing someone else in.

but fair play to him, did give youth a chance, unlike alot of others.
I'm not sure if he deserves much credit for that, was mostly down to the fact he fell out with alot of the older players like Lasley and Craigen and Motherwell having fuck all money. This has been exposed recently, without the influence of the older players, as soon as they lose a game or go a goal down the arse goes out them. Hence going from 1-0 up to being humped 3-1 by St Johnstone.
