    any yorkshire/ lancashire/midlands based bears...

    leeds bradford to dusseldorf weeze with ryanair 11.55am dep on weds 9th

    17.45 return from weeze to leeds arrive back at 18.30 pm on friday the 11th march

    £69 return inc taxes and charges

    on landing at weeze there is a wee bus that links to venlo rail station in holland for approx 12euros

    then it is 45 mins on the train direct to eindhoven.

    hotels in eindhoven seem to be extortionate so try the four star NH GELDROP ONLY 68 QUID FOR A DOUBLE ROOM FOR THE TWO NIGHTS, geldrop is just SIX minutes on the train from eindhoven and costs 2.40 euros single.

    after two days considered trawling on the net this is the best deal i have found.misses out a trip to the dam but i am assured the gas cookers in eindhoven are just as good, and beer food etc is cheaper.your choice really.

    someone mentioned it after the sellick game....

    jamie ness ,after three good games now has the look of a young slim jim baxter, comfy on the ball,vision, awareness,a bit of dig in the tackle, obvious ability,getting better in the air,and a super range of passing...but most of all a FOOTBALLERS brain on his young shoulders.now i can remember slim jim baxter in his pomp,and this boy might just be the gallus young superstar the rangers need,heres hoping.

    well done so far young jamie,keep working,keep listening...i suspect wee durranty may have had a fair bit to do with this boys development,just a hunch.

    amica wronki from poland merged with lech poznan a couple of seasons after we played them in uefa cup and ceased to exist. but they have now started up again in the third teir of polish football.

    what a mad trip that was by the way,drank the local working mens club dry literally,a wee town of only 12.000 people,they never knew what hit them the day the rangers came to town

    addendum to my above post even if zilina beat spartak moscow and spartak finish on the same points and goal diff as us it then goes to goals scored in all group games

    we have scored three

    moscow have scored five

    so we look fecked already for the seeding place :mad:

    twente six points goal diff -2

    benfica six points goal diff -5

    rangers six points goal diff -3

    rubin k six points goal diff -2

    basle six points goal diff 0 1 game to play

    sp moscow six points goal diff -4 1 game to play

    braga nine points goal diff -4 1 game to play

    ajax four points goal diff -4 1 game to play

    so fc twente and rubin kazan have done better than us and will be seeded

    braga already have nine points so are through to a seeded place

    so only one place left to be seeded looking very unlikely we will get that one place as four teams have a game to play tomorrow,but basle are away to bayern munich

    and ajax are away to ac milan our best hope is for mk zilina to beat spartak moscow at home,but zilina are bottom of group with zero points so it looks like spartak moscow will get the fourth seeded place

    former sheffield united and aston villa player,a rabid tim through and through.

    i used to pop along and watch sheffield united play when i wasnt at the rangers.i stopped going the day i found out this scumbag has a tatto of 'chucky ar la' or whatever it is they say on his calf,and wsas told (by one of his team mates that his pre match ritual was to sing ira and celtic songs to get himself motivated,scumbag of the lowest order.

    try lufthansa from manchester or birmingham in to munich. they then have connecting flights direct from munich to bursa airport,i got a through deal from birmingham for less than £150return(for all 4 flights),last time i looked the cost from manchester was around £240 quid return(all 4 flights).only a couple of hours wait in munich for the connections.no need for a hotel either as the flight in to bursa lands around 2 am on the day of the game,and the return to munich is around 4.30am the morning after the game.

    I was listening to sportsound today and they were of the opinion that Michel Platini was attending the game tomorrow.. Has this been confirmed anywhere else?

    points are based on the current season PLUS the previous two seasons,(three CL games from last season plus kaunus from the previous season makes up the figure of maximum 4 points before old trafford trip).

    even though i was knocked back from 17 points to four pre old trafford,your full history is still on file at ibrox and i think this is when the ballot kicks in for low allocations on away ties,hence when the bursaspor tix get sorted (APPROX 900 I THINK) then those on six points and a high previous history will be allocated first.

    travel club is a scam ? my arse!!!

    I have been in the travel club from day one and never had a problem,been allocated a ticket for EVERY european away tie,without fail (apart from the san siro closure a few years back), so how is it a scam?

    I always travel independent,usually alone,i supply my flight and hotel details up front to the travel club,and this system works brilliantly.

    this is the first time i have had to do anything out of the ordinary by going to wigan, so what, it is no hardship really and understandable following the scenes in 2008.
