he has also been immense in my opinion.

Yeah and I would say it again.
Of all the so called fan representatives andy kerr would be my choice to speak for us the fans. Genuine 100% bluenose with the club very much in his heart. And well respected within the higher echelons at ibrox.

an excerpt from when satursay comes fanzine in 1999 re ex sheff utd chairman mike mcdonald and cheif exec charles green...grim reading.
WSC 153 Nov 99
Manchester City fan Mike McDonald is not the most loved figure at Sheffield Utd as Peter Salt explains
Distinguishing features Big reputation, big ego, big car, big company, big money, big mouth, big cigar, big Man City supporter, big chip on his shoulder. He is, without a shadow of a doubt, Big Mac.
Habitat Chairman of Texas plc, an engineering company that started life as a sort of scrap metal merchant. Mike is a self-made man, as he will readily tell you, who works 20 hours a day, seven days a week, 51 weeks of the year (but he always seems to take his holiday in the week of the Sheffield United plc agm). He and his sidekick Lawrie Turnbull have matching number plates on their cars, TEX 1 and 1TEX. Kind of sweet don’t you think?
What use is he? He came in as a conquering hero, ridding the club of the shadow of the Reg Brealey regime. He built the new stand and reversed SUFC into a plc, recovering his loans for the stand on the way. He employed Howard Kendall and gave him enough money to build a half-decent team that should have got into the Premiership, but gradually the wheels came off. Big Mac then sat back and let his hatchet man Charles Green, then chief executive, sell the team. McDonald took flight after a fans’ demonstration, vowing never to return. He is now back as joint chairman and wooing the fans with promises of financial stability and gradual team strengthening. Most fans just don’t buy it.

blades fans forced green out in 1998
Sheffield United
16 Mar 1998
The Daily Telegraph
Crowd pressure on Friday claimed its second scalp within a week at Sheffield United, the First Division football club.
Chief executive Charles Green is stepping down to non-executive director, upset about abuse from supporters angry at the £2.3m disposal of strikers Brian Deane and Jan Aage Fjortoft and midfielder Don Hutchinson. His resignation is the third in a fortnight.
just what we need....not.

charles fucking green!!
that was the prick who whilst at sheffield united sold their two main strikers on the last day of a transfer window, brian deane and jan aage fjortoft for about 5 mill. it was the equivelent of selling laudrup and gascoigne on the same day for the rangers fans.went all downhill for them from that day for all at sheff.utd.

If we are in the realms of guessing here then maybe I'll throw in another name off the top of my head.
Bernie Eccelstone was previously at QPR.
Just because it says London based, doesn't necessarily mean that the club was in London.
but QPR are in London????
-
Ok make of this what you will lads my mates uncle whos a taxi driver in london had a high flying buisness man in the back of his cab and overheard him say on the phone that he was really exticted as it was his first time getting involved in football and hoped to make it a global brand as i said make of this what you will

Gunslinger could be Grandmaster Suck...............GS.................Conspiracy theory N0 2571
Well from what i am led to believe ,neither of them go to the games at Ibrox....and Gunslinger was on this forum the other night while the game was going on. For a 'massive bear' who's profile says he is in Glasgow, how come he does not go to the game?
Unless of course he was at home listening to his favourite Phil Collins album...'No jacket required'.

I am not making this thread to build anyone's hopes up tonight, just simply reporting what's been said on BBC Scotland. BK is at the game tonight in the Members Lounge (not sure if that's significant or not). Chick Young had a quick word with him and he has stated that he and the Blue Knights have made moves today with Whyte. Hopefully we might get more info during the programme!
Like I say, just passing the info on!!
another 48 hours then!
