I can't say my view has changed - without significant investment in the squad it will be struggle to get a trophy and virtually impossible to win the league.
I would like to be more positive but the evidence is there for all to see.

All these mistakes will catch you out in the long run.

McInnes has done a lot more at Aberdeen than McLeish had done at Hibs before joining us. When he took over they finished 8th the season before then finished in 3rd, 2nd, 2nd and currently sit 2nd (above us who have a bigger budget)under him. He won the League Cup in 2014 and got to the final this year (granted got a tanking off the tims). When he was at St. Johnstone he won Division 1 and got them promoted and he knows our league inside out.
He had a tough time in England but was with a perennial yo-yo club. I think there is enough on McInnes' CV to say he would improve us rather than take us backwards.
Genuinely don't know what people expected him to do at Aberdeen going up against Celtic? Even the two years with Deila in charge they won the title with 93 & 86 points. The first year we won the the title back off Celtic under Smith (08/09) we scored 86 points.
Caixinha is a huge risk and could go completely tits up. There is nothing on his CV (including a Mexican title, which is decided in a playoff format) to suggest he can come here and be successful.
At the end of the day though it doesn't matter if it's Caixinha, McInnes or fucking Antonio Conte if there are no decent funds given to them they will be winning no titles.
Our current situation in one sentence.

Garner should have hit it first time if he was a half decent striker.

I think kids looking elsewhere other than Rangers is hardly surprising given the events of the last few years. Playing in the bottom tiers of Scottish football; no European football; and more recently you can't even hear a Rangers employee talk on the main media channel.
This should be of concern for all of us and that's why it is vital that we are back at the very top asap along with sorting out the situation with the BBC.

Dave King is probably now more actively engaged in looking for the next bogeyman than a new manager.
What is happening to our Club at this moment as the Footballing side implodes against ICT has nothing to do with the previous Board, nothing to do with Ashley and the Sports Direct Contract, not even Mark Warburton as we were winning games like that with him in charge.
It has everything to do with Dave King and he is nowhere to be seen. As for Murray?
The team are Clueless, Murty is drowning, Wallace is put in front of the Cameras and admits he is clueless But where is King?
I think the comment about Warburton is correct. I felt it after the Dundee game and again last night, If he had still be in charge we may not have won both games but we wouldn't have lost both. The board need to address the manager position quickly unless it has been decided that finishing 3rd, 4th, or even 5th is now acceptable for this season.

Unable to defend; even less able to take chances; little surprise that we are heading down the table.

I think it is to do (at least in part) with an examination of recent seasons gate receipts. I suspect they have had a general downturn in theirs whilst we languished in the Championship where we have gradually seen an increase since the King takeover.

I think he can do a job at least until the remainder of the season.
Look at the level/type of player we can afford to recruit - how would the situation be any different for the recruitment of the new manager?

At times he had the team playing in a way which was a joy to watch. For that I am grateful.

Short of a huge cash injection to improve the squad quality, it is difficult to see much changing.

Not just a player in the fantastic 1970 team but to be its captain put him as an all time great.
-
It is difficult at the moment.
From a position where we saw some breathtaking performances last season to now where the team looks out of sorts for prolonged periods.
Kranjcar for me looks like the only signing who is adding quality to the team. Barton I am sure has the potential to raise his game. Difficult time for the management team with the defensive issues in particular not yet addressed.

A superb boxer and a fantastic personaility.
The greatest sportsman I have seen in my lifetime.

Really really poor. His members were assaulted - if he is unaware of this then he should step down.

If it had been Rangers fans causing the trouble, there would be a line of politicians openly condemning Saturday's events, calling for an inquiry etc.
Their silence says it all.

Great statement.
Not afraid to name particular individuals - Cosgrove in particular who should never be on the BBC.
Let's see what the next few days bring.

Delighted to see mini sporting integrity fc and their loud mouthed chairman relegated.

The keeper is not good enough and never has been.

Great OP.
We are prepared for the premier league in a way that I had never anticipated in the dark days. They have regressed - spent enough money to compete domestically but that's all.
Sunday was fantastic and laid down a marker. We are back.
-
Fantastic. Very proud of the team.
