Mind reading an interview with alex ferguson and he claimed a boy named jules moiriana was a standout and would go far in the game. He played once with man u's first team and then got a bad knee injury in a reserve game and although he tried a couple of comebacks it just never happened. Also there was a boy signed with liverpool aged 16 or so in 1985/86ish and tipped for the top and if i mind right he did something stupid like fell through a greenhouse while there was an ambulance strike and nearly bled to death.

If i mind right he had been involved with the police a few times regards rattling punters in taxi queues and on nights out. If im right i remember everton tabling a bid for him before he went to the jail so in fairness walter smith probably thought it was better to let him go more for his own sake than ours

We were shown up tonight by a poor Motherwell side, it could have been worse, The thing that gives me hope is that Motherwell looked rattled when we scored.

Just in the door from the game.
Vuckic is a fucking show pony. No dig when needed and is found wanting when he HAS to produce. To me the midfield is the problem especially the diamond formation. Miller has to drop deep to pick up the ball and the midfield drop deep to stay away from him forcing the defenders to drop back 10 yards and defend on the edge of the box.just play a flat 4 across the middle. I would play the team that finished the game tonight from the start on sunday
I Thought honestly motherwell are a poor team......its just we were worse.

I saw a documentry years ago and it covered this game. I think baxter scored a penalty in it and he said it was the first penalty he had taken at any level of the game. He says in it "i think it showed no a bad bit of bottle"

on a side note, are we able to extend contracts until after the FertZ game next week, iirc Haris Vučkić signed until the end of the season with that date (2nd May) so where does that leave the play offs and all the others whose contracts finish then?? - just a thought!
im sure you have to register the players with the league on a short term contract (1 month) to enable them to play in the playoffs. Its happend a few times with teams getting to scottish cup finals after the league season finishes and the contract has expired
