I don't think they'll sack him regardless of what happens this season. Both parties were hoping/expecting a big club to come in for Rodgers in the summer, resulting in compensation, and it hasn't happened. Now that Rodgers is either working his ticket or is actually so delusional he thinks he can win a public fight with his board, the chances of that ideal scenario for the tims is pretty much dead.
I think Rodgers would be reluctant to resign and walk away from the severance he'd be due if sacked, especially if he's not got another job lined up. But if we win the league this year under Steven Gerrard? He'll walk. He's not it in him to stick around and try to wrestle the title back in those circumstances; crumbles under pressure, and always will.
You have nailed it. He wants out but needs to save face and the board want rid of without a pay out. The perfect marriage of inconvenience.

Easter road 1986, opening game of the season, we have a midfield legend in charge, a number of players come from South of the border, a new era begins,
We lost that game but won the double this season, because that team had fight, heart, determination, steel, all the attributes wanted by our boss and needed for success
Yesterday reminded me of that day, and for some reason i have a feeling the season will turn out like it did back then
Being at that game in 1986, Sunday’s events reminded me of that day immediately also.

Maybe slightly off topic but what does a DoF do 5 days week, 9 till 5. Or more importantly what has our DoF done since his appointment?

If we can't put this mob to bed, we don't deserve to be in the competition, simple.

It's a big no from me!
Big Rangers fan, my arse! Was lucky to be invited to Hospitality first game of season some years ago and he was despatched to visit our box post match to do some Q &A . I asked him who took him to Ibrox to watch The Rangers, "My Uncles."
What was your first game? "Can't remember. " Aye right! Had my doubts from then!

Good news for all on TC should see everyone who wants to go get a ticket
Like everyone else , trying to keep the excitement levels down. However seriously thinking about return flight from Portugal for game plus accommodation, 300 euros.

I love looking onto the main stand, looks beautiful and intimidating at the same time.
If i recall correctly the Bill Struth Stand is the biggest stand in Britain.
Ive never sat in Govan front facing it, bet it looks even bigger from there
Just checked 3rd largest with 21,500 capacity.
Sir Alex Ferguson Stand largest with 25,500.
Will just ignore 2nd largest with 22,000.

Virgin run their own cables and therefore have their own network.
No all copper and fibre is BT owned, the rest just piggy back on.

if sky lose it then i won't be watching on BT sport. 1) i don't have bt broadband and don't plan to buy it. same is true for sky 2) they don't offer a service like Now TV which sky do.
if BT want to compete they need to make it accessible to more people.
Be aware that BT owns all the Broadband in the UK. Sky, Virgin, Talk Talk etc only rent the copper or fibre optic cable to deliver their product.
BT could refuse to supply any 3rd party tomorrow and they would be the only UK option.

Haud the bus, Sky can't compete with BT financially? You serious?
As previously quoted, BT can blow Sky out of the water financially and Sky know it!
They have a war chest set aside to buy as many sporting events as possible, if you need further proof , look at the figure they paid for exclusive CL rights.
Next up is the EPL rights , and make no mistake, BT will massively outbid Sky and win 75% of the coverage including Super Sunday.
I have dealt with BT Sports Commercial Director and this comes straight from the horses mouth.

Low animal cunning rather than smart.
Beast I still wouldn't attribute either with even that ability. I've met Gilligan on 3 occasions, nice guy , but how he achieved the senior role at Tennent's,I'll never know?
Paul Murray I have never met , but his CV of business failures does not suggest a " cunning plan Baldrick!"
2 duds enjoying the limelight, no money to offer and certainly no business acumen either.
I hope they prove me wrong.

Not fit for purpose.
A vehicle devised by cunts like Gilligan and Murray to get their hands on RF money, exercise control over the RF/RST shares and stop any dissenting voices from the support. Aided and abetted by fan spiv vermin such as Chris Graham and Greg Marshall.
It is now what it was always inevitably heading to be. A joke organisation "managed" by fan-spivs, blazer-chasers and useful-idiots but controlled by the rats on the Rangers board. Only a complete moron would continue to put their money into this ridiculous sham.
I honestly don't think Gilligan and Murray are that smart!
Gerrard has Brendan rattled...

I know a player who shares the same agent as John McGinn. The celtic transfer fiasco of that “no brainer” lies squarely with Peter Lawwell. His complete arrogance led to McGinn signing for AV and Lawwell phoning McGinn’s grandfather ( ex-celtic employee) that McGinn would never be offered the chance to join celtic ever again, despite the mess being Lawwell’s.
The rift between BR and Lawwell/board started then and both want rid of each other.
