Warburton admits Rangers fans won’t see their strongest team in action until the league season kicks off against Hamilton at Ibrox on August 6.
Joey Barton and Niko Kranjcar are set to sit out the cup tie at Motherwell on July 16 as they continue their build-up to full fitness.
