Lets look at the youngsters played recently,
loy done ok but does not look quick enough
furman looked good when came on against untd end of last season on loan bradford not been getting regular game
lennon cant get game for partick. less chance now buchanans back
fleck been injured just back hopefully will get on bench
lowing loaned to clyde
shinnie loaned to dundee
araon watched the reserves not convinced
mcmillan looks ok with the reserves
these are the main group of youngsters we discuss on the forum or have played games over the last few seasons IMO i would only put the youngsters on at the correct time ie when we are 3 goals up at home or in a game where we should win cup tie against lower division team.

Clould cuckoo land if you think any topflight european manager will come to us with no cash to spend unless he sells our so called better players therefore making the team even weaker than before,ws has done a reasonable job in the past and already this season we are a better side to watch we need more goals from other areas of the team to give more threat and take the pressure of the forwards

IMO the players we played last night would almost to a man been the ones we would have picked prior to the game, possible changes beasley ? very poor recently, novo same, edu totaly lost previous game, whittaker got a few mins on sunday not the best of defenders but better than broadfoot going forward, running out of options, adam left footed and ball delivery ok now and then probably the same as the other "dead ball experts".One obvious problem is that barry will have try and discipline himself to play the thomson role to give cover to our defence or we will have the opposing midfielders coming through in droves

Spending just under £40M and still looking nothing short of mediocre.
Frankly, for the money he's spent we should be looking to make a dent in the CL at the current time.
4O MILLION DOES NOT MAKE A DENT IN THE" BIG TEAMS BUDGETS" LAST YEAR WAS MEDIOCRE AT LEAST MOST OF THE TIME THIS YEAR WE TRY TO PLAY THE PASSING GAME

Voted for whittaker however thats only because he would be more of a threat going forward than broadfoot, none of the two of them can defend

Totally agree you just feel that ws will drop him to give barry a game ,bit of a problem me thinks.

=belter =sept 30 2008 16.47He did not have to win me over once he became a rangers player I knew he had to be backed if we wanted the best out of him, I personally did not want him back but I am glad he is, As long as he keeps knocking in the goals and working his ass off,Did not want him but is a much better player than i thought ,makes things happen and his first touch is "better" :unionflag:

Yet again we have came up against a team that played 3 in the middle of the park
result overrun ,this used to happen before we played 4-5-1 last season ,i dont suggest going back to that formation.
But watching the game today i could see we needed another central midfielder to match up ,WS did not seem to notice this.
IMO we should have went 3 at the back or subbed jcd brought novo on and pushed adam into the centre where his chronic lack of pace
would not have mattered ,why does the manager not see this
