We all know they won't because Motherwell fans will just not bother going, too often we get the pish ripped out of us for being the most loyal fans in Scotland

    Fuck Dundee Utd btw

Craig Whyte cuts cash claim against oldco Rangers by over £21million

Craig Whyte has slashed the amount of cash he is trying to squeeze out of oldco Rangers by more than £21million.

The club’s former owner has failed in a string of attempts to grab as much as £25million from the assets. An interim report to creditors by joint liquidators BDO has now revealed that Whyte submitted a new claim of £3.5million in July.

Whyte’s original claim for £25million was lodged by Law Financial Limited, a company owned by the Worthington Group, of which he was a director.

Whyte demanded £18.5million through his firm The Rangers FC Group Limited (TRFC) in 2015 but that too was thrown out by liquidators. TRFC were formerly Wavetower Limited.

Whyte’s latest claim for £3.5million means a further delay for creditors hoping to secure a dividend from the assets of the oldco.

The club’s major assets, including Ibrox Stadium and the training ground at Auchenhowie, were transferred to the newco when it was formed in 2012, so can’t be touched.

Although any payout to Whyte is unlikely, BDO say they are taking legal advice because the claim “purports” to be “secured”, which means the company would be head of the queue for a payout.

The BDO report said: “Following protracted correspondence, Wavetower confirmed it would withdraw both its appeal of the joint liquidators’ rejection and the claim itself.

“Wavetower subsequently submitted a new secured claim of £3.5million on July 12, 2016.

“No supporting documentation was provided with the claim, which the joint liquidators rejected on August 22, 2016.

“Under the rules, Wavetower had until October 16, 2016 (14 days before the end of the next relevant accounting period) to appeal against the rejection.

“It failed to respond and, as such, a creditor would generally be excluded from the benefit of an interim dividend.

“As the Wavetower claim purports to be secured, however, the joint liquidators have been liaising with their legal team to understand what further steps are required before they can prepare a fresh Scheme of Division and declare a first dividend to creditors.

“Once this matter is resolved, we intend to consult with the committee to agree a new Scheme of Division to allow a first dividend to be declared and paid to unsecured creditors with agreed claims.”

In a case at the High Court in Glasgow, Whyte is accused of carrying out fraud to take over Rangers in 2011.

He put the club into administration over an unpaid tax bill in 2012 and sold it to Charles Green.

The taxman is the largest claimant against the oldco’s assets and is demanding £92million.

Ticketus, who were sold the rights to Ibrox season ticket revenues for three seasons, are also one of the creditors.

    Cheers mate

Go back to bed mate, and get out of the opposite side this time, because you appear to have got out of the wrong side.

What has he said that's wrong though.

    Them winning 9iar , sheep's wee domination?

If in doubt kick it out?

Yep. I honestly think Barrie can be a truly world class player. Dembele  might turn out to be good, but at the moment Barrie is head and shoulders the best player in Scotland.

I'd love that to be true mate but there's no way he's the best in Scotland

Well I can see what a forward who has scored one more goal than a midfielder you are saying is not good enough is doing for the team.If Waghorn has a long way to go then where does that put Miller then who has played twice as many minutes but managed one goal more.Take it he has a long way to go then as well.

His role isn't to be an out n out striker anymore. He works harder than anyone else In the team. Never gives up and plays in some great balls. If all our team had his spirit then we wouldn't lose.

Was thinking he was ok tonight compared to the Hearts game but at the end he said something about how Celtic would have pressed on and scored 5 or 6 :power_of_anguish:

Anybody hear him? Didn't catch what started the conversion that led to him talking such rubbish at a Rangers game.

I started a thread about him after the hearts game. I'm normally there but had to watch on TV and couldn't believe what he was saying.

Funny bout him saying that when the tarriers played them the other night n won 1 nil

    He's a cunt

Some of the passes he plays are top drawer. Actually pisses me off when some of our fans slag him off , as the guy is a huge talent. Wish we would talk up our players more like the tims do, I mean if dembele is touted at whatever price, then Barrie is worth double. The guy has everything , touch, skill, passing, shooting . Have been a huge fan of his for years.

You honestly believe he's worth double dembele?

I agree with what you're saying but how regular is considered a regular poster? It is ridiculous people just coming on with1,2...10 posts and they're mainly just asking for tickets for the bigger games or any away games. I post when I feel I have something to share but wouldn't see myself as much of a regular as others

The problem is that most of the low posters seem to fuck about.

I messaged a guy with a low count for an away ticket (think it was Killie) n he agreed to sell it. Next min he offered it to another poster and then one more. So three people in total. He ended up banned cause he was an utter fud.

I also had a spare for a game and it was a low poster that agreed to buy it and didn't turn up.

The way most on here look at it , is that if you contribute regularly to the forum then most of the time it's wuite easy to suss out whether they're decent and will keep their word.

Well, that's the way I look at it now.
