I totally foroot that the winners of this tie had to play Falkirk next. The format of this playoff is ridiculous.

It's an absolute farce and heavily weighted in favour of 2nd last in the Premier league who only have to play two games.

Should just be a straight forward 2nd in the Championship plays 2nd bottom in the Premier league  over two legs. I would relegate 2 from the Premier league and promote 2 from the Championship and 3rd placed in the Championship plays 3rd bottom in the Premier league.

The split is also an abomination and sometimes you find teams in the bottom six end up with more points than some of the top six teams.

I would also increase the size of the Premier league to 19 teams and revert to just playing each team twice a season 36 games, That also boosts the finance of other clubs allowing them more money for players, But other clubs would complain about not getting enough of the blue pound and fuck the smaller clubs.

how long would a journalist have lasted if he tweeted UP THE UVF...and it is not just one is it? Spiers English Spence Cosgrove Heggarty..do want me to go on.

Don't also forget the English tabloids with McKenna and Greenslade who's good friends with the gobblegiver.

A few of them have also previously worked for the celtc view.

Aye but it's not a conspiracy just one dick working st a newspaper.  If he happened to be one of us and had posted stuff in the past about them they'd do the same.

If you think that then you really need to educate yourself. The list is very long.

  4. Unfortunately long gone are the days where players were more interested in their careers, Money now takes the biggest preference over career choices.

He won't ever get near Chelsea's first team, English players even at Gilmours young age tend to be more fitter and stronger and bigger and he may struggle with that just like he struggled in the youth cup final against bigger opponents.

Wrong move for him and think he's well overhyped, I remember all the same about Fleck being touted as the new Rooney and was a far better player than Gilmour.

Good luck to the young lad, But a silly move.

  5. Garner goal was pretty good, great cross from Miller and Garner in the air,off balance and on the volley.

Toral one was good also, Great teamwork and movement.

But Miller against the sheep wins it, Difficult thing to do and executed perfectly at an angle and hit with power.

Dodoo goal was good as well given he was in his own half when he got the ball,Good run and cut inside and a shot into the net.

Miller has been excellent this season.

I've no problem with it, it's just sad that the only thing we have to celebrate now is late wins in meaningless games against shitty no mark clubs.

When we're winning big games and leagues/cups I'm all for it

How was it a meaningless game ? Before kick off we were still in with a chance of finishing second and still required 1pt for a Euro place.

So how do you propose writing something that would see one of the few Rangers-friendly voices in the media out on his arse before he's even in the door would be a good idea to change any of that? Wouldn't you think continued positive coverage would have much more effect than a one and done (that they likely wouldn't publish) saying that the media is biased?

Isn't the basic idea of them allowing you a blog as a Rangers supporter to speak your mind as a Rangers fan on issues not only you are happy with but also unhappy with ?

Have they gave you basic instructions on what you can and can't say or speak about or who your'e allowed to be critical of including the Record.

If your'e saying they won't allow you to be critical of them and they censor what you say then that's not a democracy that's a newspaper acting like a dictator.

It's a Rangers blog but seems your allowed to talk about something that is constantly repeated every day from Rangers fans and that's about it.

There is also nothing stopping you having a go at other journos from other newspapers in relation to the negativity they spew on a daily basis towards the club and fans, There is nothing stopping you putting the boot in to the bloggers who hate Rangers and there is nothing stopping you more importantly of putting the boot into our own board for allowing it and sitting doing nothing or even asking the question of why they only do something when it is a personal attack against them, But ignore and do nothing to defend the clubs fans.

I'm not having a go at you and hope you can understand the anger when the club and fans get shit on from a great height for the slightest thing and the media go to town and our board sit doing absolutely nothing.

That's all i'm saying on this and wish you all the best in your blog and wherever it takes you.

Football (or even life if you'll indulge me) is full of double standards like that and I could reel off plenty of them that no-one gives a fuck about but because this one involved Celtic, all of sudden it's a big deal to people.

I touched on the attacks on Caixinha in my first blog for the Record, suggesting the attacks were down to ignorance of anything not on Sky Sports,  and will likely revisit it.

The high profile news story has absolutely nothing to do with Rangers so, in a column about Rangers, I'll not be writing about it. Also I'm not a reporter. I'm there for my opinion on Rangers. Not what was in the news the past week.

I couldn't care less what the Celtic blogger writes. If he wants to write about Rangers then great. He's just as consumed by us as most of his Celtic supporting pals are.

But again, and I don't know how much more emphasis I can put on this: I've been asked to write my opinions on Rangers from week to week. So, you know, I'll write about Rangers. It's a crazy situation, I know, but  I'll stick to what got me the opportunity in the first place. If you want to take up the baton and write about all of the above then by all means do.

The media this week would make you believe only one teams fans in Scotland has ever been guilty of racially abusing black players, While another club use the same racial abuse as a propaganda exercise to raise the image of their club to make people think they are some sort of moral crusaders against racism with all the statements, banners and t-shirts and helped by a very compliant media, Along the lines of the old "please love us" while trying to brush away their own disgusting history of racist abuse both on and off the pitch.

As long as those in the media are controlled Rangers image will continue to be damaged by those in the same media who are of no doubt celtc minded and who's sole aim in life is to write headlines of Rangers bad, Celtc good.

I'ts actually quite shocking how much bias there is but unsurprising when you look at who they are.

Wait, you want me to write something slating the DR in the DR? I'm sure any paper would be delighted to publish something slaughtering them. :duh:

Why not ? Most Rangers fans are sick to the back teeth with the negativity from them, They are supposed to be an impartial media and surely they are entitled to allow a Rangers supporter to vent his feelings as to why they constantly attack the club and fans.

Then again Daryl Cooney is quite happy to allow people to tell lies so long as it's trying to show Rangers fans in a bad light.. That one backfired on him slightly.

I write a blog for them. No worries about a backlash writing about them. That's already came simply for writing about Rangers (from them and Rangers fans). I just have literally no interest in writing about them. Never have. I'd rather write about Rangers, and even do so in a positive way, that reflects well on the club and the support. Writing "aye we've got some racist fuckwits but so have they" is pointless imo. It's a problem that exists in every league on earth and simply highlighting examples involving Celtic, to the exclusion of all other clubs even just in Scotland, comes across as being bitter and petty.

In the interest of fairness shouldn't you be highlighting the exposure of last weeks incident and the media frenzy over it and asking why the media have failed to even compare the total irony of a club that says this "Love Celtc,Hate racism" along with a player holding a t-shirt up while a racist plays on the same team as Sinclair.

Or what about the constant attacks on our manager from the very paper you write a blog for or a very high profile news story involving upto six people involved in child sex abuse from the same club, That's also football related.

The celtc blogger doesn't miss an opportunity to put the boot into Rangers or the fans and even despite providing the Record with a tweet he wrote calling people "dirty orange bastards" he still writes for them.

I would be hammering it into them.

Well.call them fucking out. You claim to be the Rangers fans media watch, so do as you claim ffs, don't think we really care what the rhat infested paper has to say, and you then come on acting like a taig acting all.offended

    I sold it.

  12. Once again our manager being totally misquoted and the Record running with misleading headlines which are both wrong and untrue, Our manager never said anything of the sort at yesterdays presser.

Gordon Parks and the editor of the Record Murray Foote needs to be called out and made to explain the headline nonsense.

  13. Firstly have to laugh at this from Celtc fans denying any damage was done by them.

    Quote

Celtic fans have denied the vandalism claims and claimed on social media there was no evidence of any damage to seats in the Broomloan Road stand.

This is just in the bottom half of the Broomloan stand and goodness knows what other damage was done in the top tier, There are over 150 seats that have been broken in the bottom alone along with ducting pipes which were also pulled down.

The Scottish media were very quick to condemn Rangers fans for damaging Celtic's stadium and didn't miss.

Perhaps the lack of any evidence and not wanting to just take peoples word for it that it happened is the reason for the non reporting of the damage to the Broomloan stand the Celtic fans were situated in last Saturday.

Well to those same media people here is your evidence and let's see if this also makes the back and front pages just like the damage at Parkhead. Absolutely disgusting

  14. Most of the players are on long term deals and most of them won't get the money they are on at Rangers at any other club.

It's not a case that they are not required anymore, It's more a case of players will decide what to do, They could easily just sit on their deals.

People also forget that if the club want to get rid of them two things will happen.

    1. Players will have to be substantially paid off to terminate their contracts.

    2. Even if another club comes in for any players, The players have the final say and the club would still have to compensate and agree a figure on the remainder of their contract.

It's nothing more than a win win for the players and will cost the club a very substantial amount of cash to get rid of them.

We shouldn't also be excepting the first offer that comes in for any players, We should be trying to also squeeze that bit more to try and offset the cost of paying these players off.

Whatever the budget may be we can be sure quite a lot of it will be needed to just get rid of players.

Players aren't going to just mutally agree to terminate their contracts.
