One phone call and maybe just maybe your club wouldn't have had a confirmed paedo ring with Crewe Alexandra. Funny you's don't shout about that speshul relationship

you really are obsessed with them and child abuse.

    That's sad as fuck

I'm assuming you're taig but if not then aye, that's sad as fuck. I know next to nothing about their business.

I work with a few taigs and I find it just fucking embarrassing that they come to me most days to talk only about Rangers. Should have been drowned at birth

seems quite normal when discussing something  to look it up to back your argument.  The discussion had been quite civil until then.  The deep paranoia among the mostly right-wing nut jobs on here is worrying.  I'm obsessed because I bothered to confirm something I was discussing is pathetic.

"Should have been drowned at birth"  Dont be too hard on yourself.

It wouldn’t put them in debt but if you think that losing out on an additional £28m (or the £40m that they were projected to make this season) wouldn’t significantly reduce that £30m that you go on about then your working to an agenda rather than talking in facts like your trying to portray.

So to say that they are cash rich when their bank balance totally hinges on CL football is utter pish.

Maybe you dont understand "cash rich"?

They had a wage bill last year of £51m & they made around £28m from the champions league. You take away the champions league money this year & that money in the bank will very soon dwindle. Their whole model is built on them being in the champions league. So no, they are not cash rich, when such a precarious variable could have such an impact.

I'm not interested in a drawn out battle over their financials.  I posted that to show that they are cash rich.  30 million is a fair bit of money.  No idea of their wage bill but imagine a fair bit of it is bonuses.  No CL this year wouldn't put them in debt which is where most Scottish football clubs sit.  Which was where this all started.

They are not cash rich. They work on a successful break Even buisiness plan which with their current expenditure requires them to sell assets or get champion league money. At present no cunt wants their players and AEK will fuck them out of champions league. Let’s go.

These show revenue of £71.5m (2016: £61.2m) and a profit from trading of £23.7m (2016: £21.4m). Overall this resulted in a profit before taxation of £19.5m (2016: £18.6m) and a period end net cash at bank of £30.9m (2016: £18.6m).

Your right their wage bill is horrendous, and for all they have made a few quid on players leaving (mostly made up nonsense that was nothing like the real figures) they have signed at least 4 duds for top money for each decent player. TLB was terrible for it yet because of Wanyama got lorded as a genius, people forget bangura for 5 mil left on a free 9 months after, Carlton Cole etc, they get few right and somehow gain better money than is normal for Scottish clubs but again even that is debatable given the figures that the buying/selling clubs give for their transfer activities.

Latest bullshit by our media is £9m for Eduard yet French media say €6.5 and I know who I believe.

They lose Tuesday they are in trouble and they know it.

Their accounts showed they had 30 million in the bank.  How much does a Scottish football team need to have in the bank to be cash rich?  We can argue about fees for players as the papers will print any old shit.  But theyre financially healthy for now.

It doesn’t, everyone knows that, but Rodgers stance in calling out the board is the first sign that they are getting nervous. They haven’t faced a challenge in 6 years and their players have never had a real challenge for the title. Who knows if they have the bottle for it ? Hopefully come May we will find out.

Cant disagree with that.  Key part is "hopefully".  As I say I admire the boy's optimism but I prefer to be cautious.

Aye they did, but if we beat them at Ibrox, a title race would have been on, even if it only lasted until the next game against them. I'm not saying we would have won it (we clearly wouldn't have) but we'd have been what, three points behind or something? Think about how utterly awful we were last year - that's pretty ridiculous looking back that we were ever potentially even that close. We had a youth coach managing the team for most of the season. Even in the end they still only finished 12 points ahead. We'll be better this year. We just beat a team arguably as good as them on Thursday.

I admire your optimism, but even if we had beat them that game we never had the makings of a side for the run in.  Results proved that.

I dont know who thinks that Maribor on Thursday were as good as they are but they need to up their meds.  I think they will crush us on the 2nd.  We've a long way to go yet to being top dog in Scotland.  Its coming but lets not get ahead of ourselves.

You can actually sense the momentum switching a little bit. You've got infighting over there, them losing games and playing poorly, and us feeling almost universally positive, which is a miracle in itself.

We were a victory away from forcing a title race last year when we had an awful team managed by a youth coach for most of the season. We are so, so much better now and it's only August. For the first time since 2011 I feel like we've actually got a good team capable of winning the league. We're not favourites, we're not the finished article, we've still got a long way to go - but I genuinely think we might just win the title this year. I don't just have blind hope this time.

Did you sleep through Feb to May? They fucked us for fun.

One defeat and pish in the papers doesnt mean the tide has turned.

  10. Bipolar doesnt even begin to cover it.  He's a long, long, long way from being good enough to be our best attacking option.  he almost fluffed the open goal when he was offside.

Positivity is good but it needs to be based on something more substantive.
