  1. Living here amongst the feel good factor as they trudged their way to the semi finals was a lovely time. I have always expected an English commentator to be biased when he is doing England games.
  2. Yeah mate. The 2nd investigation was brought about because of the "hack" that Der Spiegel did. And City argued why do they need to comply when the wrong information was gained in rather dubious circumstances. Uefa didn't listen.
  3. The fine was for failure to comply with the investigation as it was launched after Der Spiegel had already decided that City were guilty. Plus they couldn't get nothing. Saving face and purely done as Uefa needed something from the investigation.
  4. Klippity Klopp & Maureen at press conferences today.
  5. Did you never hear his commentary on Man U games ? Biased as fuck. Confirmed lover of the Rhags by all accounts. He ain't out a job either. Just greeting that he is now the 2nd commentator.
  6. Good riddance to the Rhag loving prick.
  7. Decent article. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-8518971/MARTIN-SAMUEL-Man-City-lost-appeal-against-European-ban-CRUSHED.html
  8. Big shout out for Marc Warren 150/1 outsider winning his first tournament for ages in Austria yesterday. Carried his own bag and the big guy is a Bear I believe.
  9. Warriors or Braves potentially.
  10. Washington Foreskins would be anti Semitic of course.
  11. Just Washington what ? from now on then. In a statement posted to Twitter, they wrote: "On July 3rd, we announced the commencement of a thorough review of the team's name. That review has begun in earnest. "As part of this process, we want to keep our sponsors, fans and community apprised of our thinking as we go forward. "Today, we are announcing we will be retiring the Redskins name and logo upon completion of this review. "Dan Snyder and Coach Rivera are working closely to develop a new name and design approach that will enhance the standing of our proud, tradition rich franchise and inspire our sponsors, fans and community for the next 100 years." 🙄🤔
  12. I've watched enough of him over the years to expect that. Yesterday he looked void of ideas and the sun didn't help him. But I'm not writing Jimmy off.
  13. I'm fine mate. Was too busy working. 👍😎
  14. Plenty of variables decided this season. Liverpool deserved it and won it on the pitch unlike the Taigs. Your correct that in the League they have been found wanting this season but it was only recently that they dished out a lesson to the current Champions. Still in with a chance of a treble of Cup wins is something I wish Rangers were capable of.
  15. Just pointing out to the resident mensa member he is a hypocrite. And he also tells lies if he says he would feel the same if Rangers had City's spending power. I would be fucking delighted if my Rangers had half of what City can spend.
  16. I'm a huge Jimmy fan. But he was insipid yesterday. Tidy and tight but never looked like taking a wicket. All credit to the West Indies. It was watching them in the late 70's early 80's that gave me my love of the game so it's good to see them competitive again.
  17. Do you no miss the Murray days when we outspent everybody ? Flo for £12 million ? Did you think Rangers soulless then ? Most City fans I know stuck by their Club in the old Division 2. So soulless is certainly not the right word. 🤔
  18. Direct your anger at the German newspaper for giving you false hope.
  19. COMPETITIONS LIFTED; FINE MAINTAINED BUT REDUCED TO EUR 10 MILLION Lausanne, 13 July 2020 - The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has issued its decision in the arbitration procedure between Manchester City Football Club and the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA). The case concerns an appeal filed by Manchester City FC (MCFC) against the decision of the Adjudicatory Chamber of the UEFA Club Financial Control Body (CFCB) dated 14 February 2020 in which it was deemed to have contravened UEFA’s Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations and sanctioned with exclusion from participation in UEFA club competitions in the next two seasons and ordered to pay a fine of EUR 30 million. The Panel of arbitrators in charge of the matter, composed of Mr Rui Botica Santos (Portugal), President, Prof. Ulrich Haas (Germany) and Mr Andrew McDougall QC (France), conducted a hearing with the parties, their legal representatives, witnesses and experts on 8, 9 and 10 June 2020. Following the hearing, the CAS Panel deliberated and concluded that the decision issued on 14 February 2020 by the Adjudicatory Chamber of the CFCB should be set aside and replaced by the following: a.) MCFC has contravened Article 56 of the Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations. b.) MCFC shall pay a fine of EUR 10,000,000 to the UEFA, within 30 days as from the date of issuance of the arbitral award. The CAS award emphasized that most of the alleged breaches reported by the Adjudicatory Chamber of the CFCB were either not established or time-barred. As the charges with respect to any dishonest concealment of equity funding were clearly more significant violations than obstructing the CFCB’s investigations, it was not appropriate to impose a ban on participating in UEFA’s club competitions for MCFC’s failure to cooperate with the CFCB’s investigations alone. XX 👍💙🇬🇧⚽
