  1. There will be, but most will be gone by the 10th. Our group is there from 27th May to 10th June...2 weeks will likely be enough partyin lol. KPL no comments from you allowed on that one.
  2. VERY excited about the lineup of VIP's!!! Can't wait! Leaving 3 weeks today Hope all is going well with you, when are you back in Orlando? We will see you soon! :)
  3. Us? Drunk?? I can't imagine what you are talking about lol. However, am in a villa with, among others, the Sakhalin Island pair, before and after the convention dates so the odds on that might just be very good! lol
  4. Hi Liam, Loads going to Orlando, pm me regarding tickets and I can put you in touch with the one selling them. Sorry missed your original post.
  5. Emmm KPL, when did you keep him on the straight and narrow in Vegas??? Lol seems we had to straighten out your path a time or two? lol
  6. Will be there from 27th May to 10th June. Going to be a blast as usual!!! And now a nice shiny trophy as special guest. Can't beat it! If there is anyway you can get there for the convention dates, make sure you do, wouldn't miss it for anything.
  7. Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelllllllllllllooooo.....the forum told me to do it lol

  8. Ok everyone, we are only days away now! Looking forward to meeting any of you that I dont yet know and meeting back up with those of you I do. It is going to be a GREAT and FUN night! If I have not already spoke to you, give me a shout regarding details. It's time for a PARTY!!! No one does it better than bears! See you Saturday!
  9. Don't you have a NARSA club where you are? They broadcast the games live? Our contract with Setanta is set up to show games 72 hours after they have been played live except for old firm matches which are 48 hours.
  10. Could we get everyone to confirm that they will be there that day/night? I have been contacted by the president of Toronto Central who said that the pub is really jumping on a Saturday night so if we have enough numbers, he is going to book a room for us. Please just add your name to the list, I have added the ones that have already confirmed, thanks everyone. There are still a fair number of maybes, will work on them in the meantime. Am really looking forward to meeting up with everyone! Just to let everyone know, tickets to the Toronto FC game that day are apparently sold out, they are still available on sites like stubhub, etc. If we cannot get tickets to the game, we will choose one of the many locations that show it and watch the game there. For anyone not meeting up earlier in the day, we can all meet up at The Madison Pub at 14 Madison Avenue (just off Bloor between Spadina and Avenue/University) anytime from 5pm on. Rangers match at early o'clock Sunday morning... Gersgirl CR and Jenna +2 more Kimberly Wee Jackson RFC Lylad Kevin Brad Wee Durranty Billy and Therese (?) Sandra
  11. Just be glad we're in Ontario CR, the west coast is watching those at 4:15 and 4:30am
  12. Any reason we Bears this side of the pond should not be allowed to hold a get together? So far the furthest person travelling is at most a 4 hour drive, with the majority being 1 and a half to 2 hours. Nowhere near the same time and money output as booking a flight to Scotland for approximately $800-$1000, finding and paying for accomodation and trying to get enough time off work to make it worthwhile. Many of us DO get over for games when possible, this night out would hardly preclude anyone going to Scotland to take in a game. Trust me, if I could get over for a game on what I will be spending for this night out, I would have booked up for every weekend. Contrary to your statement, this "meet and greet" bash will also help to support one of our many RSC's here in North America (many of whom are struggling to keep afloat with the large number of early kickoffs) I would say it IS doing something if we can help out our fellow bears to keep operating. Besides, we just might LIKE pictures on the internet...
  13. Am no complainin Iain lol, I will get up at any time to watch my Gers. I was only stating that as I am sure we will all be partaking of a few "cocktails" on the saturday, the 7:15am kick off may be a bit rough lol. That's not to say that when my alarm goes off for these games I dont have a few choice words to say, but I will get myself up and on the road for my half hour drive to the club. Minus the tea, wheetabix and orange juice lol.
  14. Gersgirl CR and Jenna Kimberly Billy and Therese WeeJacksonRFC Lylad Kevin Brad (Northern bluenose)? A fair number of maybes as well. Keep em comin, it is going to be one FUN day/night! Great pub and great RSC. If anyone has listened to the Rangers podcast, it is created and produced by two members of this supporters club.
  15. Updated list Gersgirl CR and Jenna Kimberly Billy and Therese WeeJacksonRFC Lylad Kevin There are also 4 maybes as well. They have messaged me on Fbook.
  16. Awww, well if anything changes, let us know. Also just wanted to let you know if you were able to grab a flight, one of us could pick you up at the airport.
  17. You taught me well Dennis! Never touched a drop until I met you in Vegas...cough, cough...
  18. Fairly certain that Kimberly is in. So far we have: Gersgirl CR and Jenna (I am nicer than CR) lol Kimberly
  19. Ok everyone, It looks like the date of 21 August is going to work out for the 1st annual, North American RM meet! For those in town early enough in the day there is a Toronto FC game at 1pm to get you started, Toronto is playing Chicago Fire that day and there are still tickets available at this point. From there, we can move on to the pub if we choose for beverages and something to eat (somehow I think we will choose lol) There will be plenty of other bars in the surrounding area if we decide we want to move on from The Madison at some point later on. The pub we will be visiting is The Madison which is the home of the Toronto Central Rangers Supporters Club, to partake of a "few" beverages. I am including a description of The Madison here as it looks like one fun place for a party. Now boasting a spectacular sports lounge 6 British style pubs under one roof a total of 12 bars (5 on patios) 3 kitchens 5 multilevel patios - 4 heated and several covered areas 4 fireplaces 3 dart areas 2 pool tables 150 draft taps - possibly a world record 3 giant screens and over 50 TVs live entertainment every Thursday, Friday and Saturday a capacity of close to 2000 people Rangers play the following Sunday morning bright and early (7:15am kick off...yes, I know) even though it is so early I am hoping that as many of us as possible will get out to support the local Rangers supporters club by watching the game with them. Can we get a list started here of those who think they will be able to make it on this weekend. If we have enough, we may need to notify the pub that we will be there. I'll get it started gersgirl
  20. If it was one of the Toronto RSC's you would want to go with Central or Midtown, as Toronto #1 in Scarborough and Bramalea arent easily accessible unless you have someone not drinking or want to take taxis. These are the two that are actual clubs, the others operate out of bars. I like all of them so can definitely look into those as options. Toronto Central has 6 bars but according to their website it is restricted to over 21's after 11pm which could or could not be a problem.
  21. Hey Everyone! We've been tossing around the dates of 10 July, kind of soon and ties in with the Toronto Orange walk(so some may already have plans for that day), or 21 August which would give people a bit more time to get organized if they had any distance to travel. Toronto FC is also playing the Chicago Red Bull at BMO Field that day at 1pm so that is an option for anyone wanting to head along to a game (definitely a fun time). We will also know more after this thursday regarding Rangers schedule to know when our game is that weekend. Does anyone have a preference on date? We will in all likelihood be looking at somewhere downtown due to the numbers of pubs and places to head out.
  22. ye sure did,but what a friday night ooot,,took me back to ma youth! Des!!! Welcome to Rangersmedia! Was great meeting you and yes, I have sobered up since I got home lol. Hope you guys made it home ok, was the flag found? I havent heard from Helen or Tam about it so I'm assuming Tam got it back? no sign of the flag yet.maybe someone thought it was a hanky x. I'll see what I can find out.
  23. Dont think they are able to get Tennent's back in again yet. Our RSC operates out of a Scottish pub in London, ON and the owner is having a hell of a time getting it back in again.
  24. Lol I would have gone right out and bought not only one but the home, away AND the third strip for him lol. Nothin tacky about it! Congratulations on the new arrival!
  25. The flag was in support of the USA because of our players didnt anyone think of that. Just in case you may not have heard of them, their names are EDU and BEASLEY! It had nothing to do with England or their fans ffs.
