Fact of the matter is they have probably out spent us for the last 7 seasons and have won the league 5 times and lost it on the last day of the season twice (he he!) , this tells you that money wins in Scotland and however spends the most tends to win. Next season will be no different no matter who the manager is. Why Rangers fans fail to accept the truth and dont demand Murrays departure like all other fans around the world would do confounds me.

J Rod had a good first season when he had a regular partner, however last year there was too much change. J Rod is a solid defender in a country where play is more technical and slower paced. I f we had him playing with Boumsong then I think they would have been excellent together.

Who would expect Grahame to tell the truth about rangers. Looks as though the press are waking up to Murray, I just wish they would be more open about it especially the red tops. Why no big debate " Has Murray given up on Rangers", if this was Celtic there would be, the Kellys were hounded by the record. Could it be the press dont care if Rangers die, or has Murray legally got hold of them by the nuts.

As I said in another thread the team who comfortably spends the most in the last 15 years will nearly in all cases win the league. The problem here is now this gaurantees more champions league money. The reality is Murray is never going to be allowed to spend the banks money again, and he sure as tomorrow follows today, will never spend his own. As a result Celtic are near to gauranteed the league every year while Murray remains, if you are happy with that then this decline will make the 80's look like a short blip.

Our budget will be around 5 million and that includes wages, this is why we are offering peanuts for Naismith. What may help us if Naismith wants to play for us, however that would mean waiting a year or so. Some have to accept there will be no big signings for Rangers this summer and as a result if Celtic spend wisely then they will win the league again. It aint rocket science in the last 15 years in Scotland the team that comfortably spends the most on most occassions wins the league. The problem for us now is that this means more champions league money for the winners.

why even bother with this thread there is more chance of the pope signing for Rangers than there is of us spending this type of money while David Murray is in charge.

Hearing wee rumours that we will not go over a budget of 5 million including salaries. We already have our biggest signing of the season with darchville and that SDM sees Thomson as one of our signings for next season. Very very sad fans full of ambition while the man who runs our club has given up a long time ago.
