  1. bear you wont need to book a table on a tuesday lunchtime as its not overly busy midweek,

as others have said food is very nice and not too pricey

Thanks. My uncle is 89 and can’t wait. He’s still as sharp as a tac and a right blue nose. Canny wait now actually (tu)

  2. Stop the doom-mongering lads.

We need to stop taking everyone so literal.

AJ merely gave an indication. This is a fluid situation and I would reckon it's impossible to put deadlines on.

It's between Murray, the bank and Whyte, AJ doesn't have a say in it, so he can only guess when it might be done.

    Patience is needed.

  3. i tend to agree. and this final act which would allow us to move forward would afford him some final credit from me.

I’m a bit weird when it comes to Murray. It stems from the type of person i am i guess. Although i can be a nasty cunt, i always end up seeing good in people, i cant help it.

I know Murray has been a fuck up for years but i can’t help but remember the 9 in a row stuff, that was an amazing time, Murray funded that so once this is done and dusted i will more or less forget this awful time and remember the good. it’s just the way i am.

Don’t get me wrong, when i look at the way he has ran us logically, with no emotion the man has ran us into the ground and if i was in the metal business and any other business Murray is involved in i wouldn’t go near him with a barge pole because if he can’t run an amazing institution like the Rangers, what does that say about him as a businessman?

  4. the papers seem hopeful. seems murray may pay the 2.8 million

    1. Murray wants rid of us

    2. He wouldn’t ever sell us to a random, he would always make sure it’s someone that can take us forwards

    3. CW can take us forwards and has passed all requirements that Murray wanted proof of.

    4. Combine all three of the above points and Murray will now do anything to get rid of us even if it means he gets a fiver for us. He see’s a great big light at the end of the tunnel now which means he can move forwards with his life without the ball and chain that’s been round his leg for the last 7+years

Just me two bobs worth on this

  5. In one line can anyone summarise what has happened since yesterday.

Nothing much was ever gonna happen over a weekend. There might have been a few phone calls between lawyer to clarify this and that, but no serious movement is ever done at the weekend in the UK.

This take over will happen, CW would not have gone this deep and if he was to pull out it would not look good on him as a businessman

  6. It would speed things along if somebody else was interested, but in the state we are in I doubt it. Craig Whyte even though he's a fan, he wont be willing to pay over the odds for us. When really he could hold off see what happens and pick us up for pennies.

Of course if the worse case scenario does happen and we take a hit and end up in Administration, we could see quite a few new bidders.

We don;t wanna go into administration. It would be highly embarrassing

  7. i know and agree with you, i was just meaning murray no longer wants to run or be involved with rangers if he can find

    a decent way out.

in other words i dnt think valuation of our club is a big thing to him, he just wants some1 who can afford to

    take the club forward

    (tu)
