  1. Mate you normally talk sense but that is crap. I have live SPL game at my work in the middle east and at my home in Thailand. Go to a bar etc and it’s near impossible to get them to shot it as there’ll be and EPL game on. All this stuff about getting money from TV abroad, well, we do, we just aint popular
  2. You can only subscribe to Sky in the UK and Tattie land BUT, you can get SSN abroad, i have it in my house in Thailand for 30 mind every 4 hours, and if i buy another package it’s all the time. Honestly mate, Rangers are not as big as we like to think we are. if we were, believe me, Sky would have us in the prime slots
  3. It’s a reality check, we aint as big as people think we are
  4. What exactly have SSN supposed to do? Stop everything and focus the whole show on Rangers? They don’t know anything, they obviously haven’t been able to get an interview from anyone from the Rangers (that is a positive in my mind) People need to calm the fuck down and stop looking for shit that isn’t there. If anyone is to “blame” it’s Rangers for not offering the media any sort of direct interviews with people connected to the workings of the takeover. If they had it would be the headlines, the simple fact of the matter is they have nothing to run with other than rumours
  5. TBH i think we are splitting hairs here. He will be meeting anyone important involved with the running of Rangers.
  6. I was watching OZ to take my aggression out Back to this thread and SSN
  7. If he wasn’t going to buy he would not go to a sit down with the full board. He’d Phone Murray or send a lacky to do his dirty work IMO. This is the first positive thing i’ve read today.
  8. I took the dog out to get away from it, i lasted 10 mins and came home to refresh the tits off this thread
  9. http://sport.stv.tv/football/scottish-premier/dundee-united/240372-goodwillie-signs-new-deal-at-dundee-united/ David Goodwillie has signed a contract extension with Dundee United, which will see the striker remain with the club until the end of the 2012/13 season. Goodwillie, who has scored 15 goals this campaign, had just over a year left on his contract at Tannadice. "I am thrilled that David has agreed to extend his contract until 2013," Dundee United boss Peter Houston said of the new deal. "To have secured his services until then is a major coup for the Club. "David has shown a terrific improvement in his overall game within the last 12 months as well as continuing to show the undoubted talent that he has always had and he is now recognised as one of the top strikers in the SPL. "It is testament to the hard work, effort and enthusiasm of the staff that David sees his career advancing further here at Dundee United.”
  10. i’m climbing the bloody walls about this. I do still feel it will happen or SDM would have pulled the plug a while ago, no way would he and his advisors let it go this far.

  12. I think that too. Hopefully it means he is going to set us up well to attract another investor because we are doing well on and off the pitch.
  13. Nw as good at time as any to form a heroin addiction!!! I’m stressed to fuck about this doh doh doh
  14. Has anyone that is directly involved in the deal came out and set a deadline day? I personally think it’s all media talk so they can say,”I told you so” IF it happens. Chick Young is a master at that, he says “this player will be player of the year” even though there is next to no chance, but he says it on the big outside chance he will so he can say,”I told you so” it’s the oldest trick in the book with Journos because they know if what they say doesn’t happen we mostly forget it.
  15. I am not speaking for everyone, but i think at that level of business not many of us have the first clue how tax works, rite?
  16. Cheers. I wish i could go to sleep for 24 hours and wake up and we are bought, this is back to being very stressfull
  17. Frankie i’m reading you on Twitter. What’s the story about CW’s lawyers and that scotzine guy?
  18. My own opinion is on friday, between 11am and 2pm we’ll have a proper press conf in the blue room. Whyte and Ellis walk in, sitting down and read a pre written statement telling us they are now the sole owners of The Rangers, what their vision is and that they will be backing Ally 100% all through the summer helping him capture his targets and tying down certain current staff on long term contracts. They’ll take maybe 5-10 questions from hand picked press then walk out. We’ll probably not hear much from them for a few weeks as they get to know the players, boardroom, and essential staff at Ibrox and Murray park. They’ll also maybe install their own “men” in certain positions of power, and i have a gut feeling we are going to get a big surprise with one of their new board members. I don;t have any inside info, everything i have said is my own assumptions The Futures bright
  19. Mury wants to wash his hands of us 100% He’ll be sick to the back teeth of everything to do with Rangers. CW is no dummy, there’s no way he’ll buy us, or even have gone this far down the road if he thought this tax thing was going to fall in his lap. In fact, it’s probably the first thing he investigated when he started looking at us.
