  1. And we can say in confidence you have just joined in

One should think before one speaks..therez some crackers on here the day I will tell ye :lol::lol:

Go on the fish!Wee swine should never get anywhere near a rangers jersey, he's a jungle jim.!

  2. I doubt he could with decorum and I doubt Rab Wilson helped the argument either

Heh,boab.i've just come off an 18 hur shift so that i can take my boys to see rangers play ajax and chelsea. i'll be doing that all fuckin week through the summer, to pay for flights nice hotel and tickets.don't you dare imply that myself and the fish are in any way inferior to you pal. my dad would have done the same. and he did. all to ensure that him and his boy got to ibrox every time and i mean every time the gers played. Those days with my father belting outthe sash in the copland will be the happiest memories i will ever have as a human being, never mind a rangers supporter.those are the ones that iwill take to the grave. Those were the days when rangers supporters never had to worry about their identity, or indeed feel persecuted for it.I am so proud to be a protestant rangers supporter.it's the thing i,ve been proudest of for my whole life. that club mean everything to me.They gave me something with my father that no amount of billions of money could ever replace.Everybody who went was a protestant. Those so called protestants that chose to support celtic were ignored.Tey gave me the will to make sure that i would try to ensure that i would try to have the same with my lads. we live in england so we don't get up as often as we could.I was asked in a job interview what my best quality was. I replied that i am a british protestant rangers supporter and i'm very proud of it. I got the job,7 years later i'm still at this company in a managerial capacity.Did I mention they are from the republic of ireland, or did I miss that out?

You naturally assume that because i want RFC to be a club for protestants first and foremost that i am a bigot. Not true.Yes i hate celtic with a lunacy that borders on the obscene according to my engish mates, I hate the sellick for what they are and what they stand for.Rebel Scum! and nothing and nothing will ever change my mind. But indeed my boss feels the same way about me.The feeling is mutual, so much so, that his kids stay at my lads house most weekends, while we go out together on the bevvy. We are best mates, but we still hate each other for what we are.He gave me the job.He stood up and said that he was a proud irish catholic celtic supporter. He writes on their site. They fuckin hate us with a passion mate.He tells me.They are united in their hatred of us for what we are.And so should that always be the case and vice versa.

The only difference i have come to realise is that they haven't sold their identity or their soul.Rangers have. I really hope it's not too late to get it back. Because if people like you , and other on this site, are what remain of the support my loyal friend, then we will be heading for very dark days indeed. The banning of the billy boys was a fuckin disgrace. They let uefa rip the soul from our club.No defence. They letthe spanish coppers batter loyal fans in pamplona, and pray for a minimal fine by uefa by putting up a wee fight in court and promising to further assist in the removal of sectarian chanting. Biting their nails they were so that they can appease those who know fuck all about our pride and heritage. Rangers will hopefully always be known hopefully as the standard bearers for the working man's protestant population. Those who wish to then join in the glory of supporting the greatest club in the world, from what ever faith, will always be welcomed, but should never ever criticise our support from within for what they sing because it offends them.Everyone knows what we sing, they all know why.the whole world know that rangers are THE protestant club

You see mate,it's because of people like you and the dad and mum withe their 2 daughters who turned up late at the last game of th seasonat ibrox, sat 2 chairs away, the 2 girls spent the whole game (40 mins) going to get drinksand burgers.

Soon theirwill be nothing left to cling to for those who turn up every other saturday the kfc ibrox stadium, to watch the glasgow blues.

And by the way, can't remember who posted, Jorg Albertz is my favourite ranger, and i'm well aware of what he is.But as i tell my best mate.We don't sign catholics, they are honourary protestants.

    Get it right up ye

    No Surrender

We Are The People(well some of us)

Oh!I suppose that is deemed sectarian. Better go and find a wee corner and shit maself. Sad Days indeed.SHOULD BE SHOUTED FROM THE ROOFTOPS WITH PRIDE.Don't really care if this gets pulled. w.hoever does, just do me a favour and forward it to the fish

  3. Its called.....one more episode of Murrays mis-management

Sorry Fishy.i live in essex.mhank tops everywhere.doesn't bother me nor am i surprised. Just gives me a better buzz when i see anyboy wearing a gers top. me and my boys always shout go on the rangers at the individual possessing such a fine and cherished garment. And by the way, it;s quality, not quantity that counts. They breed like rats so there will always be more of them.Thatis why we are special.only the chosen few are honoured with the identity of being a rangers supporter.Who cares if they are in the majority anyway? Some people are obsessed with this. We are of a higher species, surely this is the only important thing

  4. Christ Manticore.I was there for the copland opening and the broomloan .i,m 35 and can't remember who it was against.i was only a wee boy,was it st.mirren.Maybe those of us who criticise the palace that surrounds them today, should appreciate how forward thinking rangers were.years before the mhanks even thought about it,and that was a real midden.sat in the centenary for ma first ever gers game in 76 with ma da , ma uncle and ma cousin tommy. we went to every game together for years.i'sitting far left on that picture about 10 rows from the front i think.I used to imagine rangers being a sub short and pulling me out the crowd and i,d score. ha ha ha ha.Still do!

  5. Alan Smith in a Rangers jersey:

At least 17 goals against the beggars

Never top scorerbut achieves legendary status among Rangers supporters as captain in 2 treble winning seasons.

Steven Naismith: Don't be a turncoat wee bastard.Sign for us for a penny.Potential legendary status.

    Got to be both

  6. nah imo we would then have thomson and brown the best partnership in the spl by far

they were great agains the big teams for the hiv's,but every game for us is a massive game. i'm not sure whether thomson or brown can cut it with the old firm. replace barry(that is the name of our captain alba)? no fekin chance! i've said it once and i'll say it again.Barry Ferguson is the only player in the SPL who would grace any of the top leagues in europe. he oozes class.he is our captain and captain of scotland.should be the pride of the whole of scotland. but scots as a nation hate stars, therefore hate him.alba, fora loyal supporter who has attende far more european away days than i probably ever will, why can,t you see past this 666 thing. fuck sake! we need to get behind the boy!

  7. have to say at the time.the plgthing was really exciting.but deep downi always thought that it wasgoing to be for 2 yrs tops.then he was off to arsenal.it soon brcame apparent that he was no rangers manager.no arsehole for the job.. couldn,t even say rangers properly.people find it easy to criticise the players, but he never made the effort to learn about scottish culture either and not just in the football sense. he thought he could just kick arse and get respect. he was never man enough to pull that off.now baz is my favourite ranger, has been for many years, but the way him and plg dragged our name and the memory of the 66 people who died at ibrox, including my uncle, on the anniversary of the ibrox disaster that day against motherwell, they should both have been publicly flogged in argyle street, then sent to gulag.fuckin disgrace!

i spent my mortgage money to get a ticket for WS and ally.s first game .walter has brought dignity back to rangers, standards that also big eck imposed although not as successful. i left the united game thatday thinking that order was restored, don.t careabout all the trophies in the world.all i ask is that the people who take the rangers job. and those who sign for us accept that we are not just a big club. but a club full of proud tradition and history. standard bearers for their people. exactly what walter, alex, wee dick, graeme, big john and big jock wallace installed. pride, tradition, honour, no surrender. if you look at that list, plg could never measure up . eventhough greigy wasn,t so successful,he is a true ger. plg, even if he won the champions league would never have had the gers in his veins. more so than mercenary players these days, i need to look at the guy in his smart suit and rangers tie on the sideline, feeling privileged to be in his company.that he has given his all, has done all he can to make me shout for him as much as the team, to make me think that they have total respect from everyone at rangers from the chairman to the poor fuckers who have to clear up after a game.

WELCOME BACK WALER SMITH.YOU SAVED THE CLUB YOU KNOW.YOU CERTAINLY CAME TO OUR RESCUE ANYWAY.FUCKIN LEGEND!WEE DURRANT WILL BE A LEGENDARY SUCCESSOR TO YOU,SURELY THE ONLY CHOICE,

  8. Will we have so called Rangers fans on here siding with Ra Shellik and the media scum....

I was totally disgusted by the attitude of some so called Rangers fans on here last night who prefered to question our brothers complaints about the treatment we and the club get from certain quarters, to be perfectly honest I was taken a back as to why our own kind can question our brothers concerns and at the same time defend the other side, its new ground for me I have never came across it in my lifetime.

Excuse me I had to get that off my chest.

it baffles me how people take the other side against our own fans and club, and for it to happen on a rangers forum is unreal, and my eyes have been opened by some of our own posters.

to be honest with you fish, I was worried about some sections of our support long before these articles on here. I remember going to the piggery to watch the final against Aberdeen years ago ,there was a young boy , not a casual, getting a good pasting from about 5 sheep, the amount of bears who just walked straight past and did nothing was astounding. Me and my 54 year old dad waded straight in. Their behaviour as bears was disgraceful. I could never walk past a bear in trouble, even if i had different views. He is still a bear.Jesus Christ Fish, people on here are talking about grassing on their brothers, that's sad. Even though i haven't spoke a word to my dad for 8 years, I wish some of them could spend an evening with him .To find out what it means to be a bear, a real one. And despite our irretrievable differences, my old man is a real rangers supporter, the boys on the park and in the stands are his buddies. And you never shit on your best buddies. I'm ashamed to think that we have grasses in our stands within our own support.

  9. great post mate...

your lucky you get to one a month..

costs me about £600 just to get to one, with travelling costs etc...so only get to about 3 a season..

on 1 hand RDB i'm gutted and from your post i know you are too.600 quid? jesus christ! where are you from? it costs me with flights and tickets on the occasions when i take my boys for the weekend about 400 quid. hence my situation is very similar to yours regarding them. on my own about 200. the money i earn isn't that bad, but it's not great either. Fuckin Hilarious!3 years ago in the close season, Tesco(mugs) accepted my credit card application. Oh my christ what a bad move for them!I booked 10 games worth of flights for me and my kids, bought all of us a season ticket each as i didn'twork saturdays then.me and the boys felt like lottery winners we were flying that much.

On 1 occasion we stood outside the rangers superstore, my lads were 11 and 8 at the time, i said to them"dad will be paying this back for a long time but he doesnt care, just don't come out of that shop regretting not having something you like". My god, we spent 989quid, I was as bad as them, like a 6 year old in a sweet shop. But i tell you what, paying a 12000 CC bill is proving impossible but i'll let Mr Tesco worry about that.

I suppose RDB, that we should consider ourselves really lucky. Some bears abroad never get the chance to come to Ibrox(canada,SA,Australia)etc. But still are as fervant about our club as you and I.They truly are special people, real special people.

  10. working on saturdays. always thinking that i should be at ibrox. i really miss going every week. can only manage one a month now if i'm lucky as i work 3 sats a month. feckin stinks.some of you lot don't know how lucky you are if you can go every week. i need to know if anybody is like me or possibly worse. i feel like a fuckin phoney. used to go every home game up until 2 years ago.We finish normally about 2.30 in the afternoon, god if i lived in glasgow i could run it to ibrox for the game, but living in essex,no chance. so when i finish work , i just come on here and go through some old topics from ages ago. that's really sad i know, but in a strange way i still feel like i'm home and amongst the boys. As my life is in general is pretty pish just now, i miss the bears more than ever, and home. Not scotland at all, but glasgow. I love the instant smell of fish and chips and bus diesel fumes as soon as i arrive. I left when i was 10 years old so my memories of my city were quite vague and through rose tinted glasses. But do you know what. when i moved back to Britain and started going up every week, i fell in love with the place all over again, even the darker side of glasgow, in fact more so the side that people often slag the place for. I t just feels great to be home, and knowing that i'm going to the game. Trouble is due to the fact that me and my wife seperating 9 years ago, i have two wonderful bluenose sons, i have to fly home straight after the game and don't most times even go for a pint. Can some of you lot tell me what you get up to on a saturday night back home just so that i can just be more jealous of you lot than i am now. Do any of you socialise together?some good tales of piss ups or scraps would be great or even just the best places to go out for an evening. Sentimental moment here: I don't think anybody realizes what a godsend this forum is for me, i feel like i've made a connection with quite a few people on here, and the nice thing is that we don't all agree with each other, that would be boring, yet for some wanting a united support all the time, that is what would happen eventually. One thing that i've always found great about our support is the diversity and the different opinions of others, arguing on the subway about who was pish and who wasn't, goals , gaffer, where you are all going the night, just that sort of pish that you lucky bastards take for granted. Down here people don't really give a fuck about scottish football. They all talk about the overhyped, overmarketed premiership, barring 4 or 5 teams.I just can't get into it at all.what i will say say is that i miss going to the shite away games like dunfermline and inverness that nobody likes and coming home with my throat on fire from singing "Build my Gallows". People like the Fish, Minstral, D'Artagnan and Manticore(where is he) sound like they are from the same generation as my dad, their views are like mine, the fish seems to have the same cynical approach to the rangers hierarchy. I used to piss my pants at my old man giving players absolute venomous pelters, your no fit to wear our jersey, usual stuff, next minute they bang one in,suddenly it's all "what a player" and " i always said he was gonnae be some player"ha ha haha. A trait i too have inherited unfortunatley( sorry Charlie Adam and Bob Malcolm) he he he. The first game under WS and AM. just seconds before he floated one in from 35 yards i screamed from the Club Deck" heh Adam ya fat ugly bassa! you are Pish!!!!! my embarrassment in the next few minutes was eliviated only slightly when the bloke in the same row shouted"yer still a fat ugly bassa though!" fuckin hilarious. My views are not everybody on this boards liking, and it is so hard not to write what i really want to say sometimes for fear of being kicked off of here, that would be shite for me.Thanks for keeping me in touch with the support as i come to the games on my own, only occasionaly when i can afford it do i bring my lads which makes me so proud. They were both born down here, but are rangers daft, and for lads not from scotland, never lived there, their hatred for the Tinks beggars belief.Bothare aware of their persuasion and beliefs, but only hate celtic for what they are,our city rivals, and not for daddy's reasons(hmmm..almost said it) ha ha ha. sorry this has gone on a bit and prob doesn't make much sense, and as i've been a speed boner for 15 years, im a bit of a 2fingertommy when it comesto typing as my fingers are quite fucked(and also copious amounts of maryjane smoked last night) . if anybody bothers to read this, you might as well reply having bored you to tears for a 1000 words that probably make no sense. Thanks for reading and the opportunity to communicate with other bears.

I would be fucked without it.

    Cheers

    Rab

  11. the great days were marching up to old ibrox everybody singing and you chest ready to burst with pride and all bears together, what a sight it was and watching growing men crying with pride, thats how much the club meant to them, because in they days rangers were their life and they would die for the club, which some did and im proud to have been part of that support, and for mr murray you can take away our season tickets but you will never take away our heritage.

well said that man! and as for the people who are calling those over the age of 30 old fashioned bigots, then read that post, i still feel like that, not just after we win. My old man was there that day too, when i was 5 yo he told me : no matter how many of them there are, or how big, never be scared to tell anybody at anytime that you are a protestant rangers supporter and be prouds when you say it, because there is nothing in the world that should make you feel prouder than that! how very true. Well said minstral!

  12. I'll never forget my first game at Ibrox in the seventies. My dad and my uncle managed to get me and my cousin a tour of the albion, it was pre match,we came to this room, forgive me but it was a long time ago, it looked like a classroom. Big Jock was talking to players, who were all sitting on these desks with their rangers jerseys on, but no pants or shorts. Big Hairy bastards of men. I was too shy to go in, but big Jock said" here come the most important people in the world", so in we went. Never forget getting wee doddies autograph and him turning to my dad and saying"hows it gawn rab" My dad knew doddie and he never said. my hero. Big Jock said we would win for us, my cousin silly bastard, said "don't you mean you'll win? Big Jock said " are you a blue nose son? my cousin said aye. He then said, classic: then it's we will win for us, we are rangers and the only difference between this lot and you is that they get to run on the grass! he was very scary indeed, I was a ger already anyway, but that day i became a ger for eternity. Sadly missed big man!Big Jock was one of us who landed the best job in the world

  13. Is anyone else like me?No matter how many times I go there I go as early as possible. As I'm walkin away I can't help but continualy look back at the stadium.Last time I went,we were in the stadium bar all night after the game and I left to go to victoria wines bank machine.By then I was pretty drunk and on the way back I just sat on a wall and looked at the Stadium for a good 20 minutes, such is my love for my team & the stadium.we are indeed THE PEOPLE!!! championee

    very random post i know

Mate, Ibrox has always given me a huge sense of pride, knowing that it's ours. And no matter what the tinkers build, even if it holds 120000, it will never have the same class, tradition, history as the Palace. Hang on a minute! that is just about why we as a people are better than the smellies. WE ARE THE PEOPLE!

David Holmes once said that rangers supporters should be surrounded by something that reflects their support for the club, Ibrox is it. Couldn't have said it better myself. I love the place, makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up when i come out of ibrox tube station, even before i turn right for the second time it's like a magnet pulling my head round the corner first to see it, my boys are the same.

  14. If you go to Ibrox, you know what "fienien" means, Im not accusing you of being sectarian, but the amount of people who sing "fienien" and shout at known catholic players who are "fieniens" am sure you would understand

Show this boy to the classroom and explain to him most of the fenians, and he should know, are all wearing green n grey hoops with torn jeans and manky baseball boots

    The players ????

Another wee slip, tut tut !!!:lol::lol:

I'm with the finned one on this. Only get offended if you want to be. I'm happy to be called an orange bastard, cos i am. They are fenians to me,always have been , always will be. Why does it have to change? I love it, and so do many thousand others.

  15. We Are The Champions.

Simply the best! had it blasting with the roof down this morning. Got sunburnt napper due folic shortage, but who gives a feck! grew up singing all the regulars but i think " build my Gallows and the sash and the Billy Boys@ are my favourites. And Follow Follow. But you can't beat the BB for sheer venacular atmosphere. God I miss it!

  16. FFS (mad)

Are you agreeing with me or mad at me ?

agreeing with you of course ;)

Sory big man, you just dont know these days do you ?

    :Edwin:

BTW, whi the fuck is Edwin ?

I already asked that without response....feckin horrendous smiley is that edwim

Its feckin mental isnt it.......edwin yer teez ooy ya kunt

    Edwin is the resident bigot.

    Oi you!

    I'm the resident bigot (mad)

    No! I'm the resident bigot.

  17. Ugo for me. (header)

The goal was class.the celebration of supporters was magnificent. But for me the look on wee Sebos face was priceless. He took so much stick from the mhanky mob. He went ckin mental. Went right up in my estimations after that.Never thought he deserved a jersey before that game and i gave him as much stick as anybody, but he ran his arse off that match.Anybody who likes beating the tinks as much as me will do for me. championee
