Eck,
did you get your headset to work last night i couldn't get mine to work it keep beeping going off then all of a sudden it would come on really loud with some kid screaming.
Felt like my ear drum was going to burst, in the end i launched it across the room
Still getting booted from the server now and again although it does seem a bit better.

Your right about the ear piece it makes a difference if a team is talking to each other, one team the other night destroyed the team i was in as they were actually working as a team and telling each other what we up to which was mostly running around like headless chickens or all running in the same direction into a ambush.
Still feel a bit of tit though sitting their with my bluetooth ear piece in, the missus and kids have a field day giving me pelters.

Yes that is a problem with PSN but i suppose it's free so i'm not too bothered.
I have been told that this weekend Friday to Sunday is a double xp weekend on COD4 so every xp you earn is doubled good news if you want to rank up quickly and unlock all those game modes and perks.

That was my first game of headquarters as i didn't have the rank before to access it, upto level 10 or 11 now so got more options to use and more perks.
The last stand one is good i got a few people with it last night, at one point they were so fed up with me that 3 of them were sticking the knife in while i was on the ground.
After we got kicked from the server i ended up in a team deathmatch game with 4 people on one side who all had zoo next to their names so i assume they might be a clan/team against me and 2 others. I thought we were going to get wasted as they were using the mics to talk with each other but we did ok and gave them a good game.
give us a shout if you are back on this week and i'l join in, we need to get a few more from here on and we can go in as a team.

Well the rank problems seem to have gone away for the moment.
played a headquarters game last night which bluenose 72 joined in with, i came last in our team (the shame), played on this far too late and now my eyes feel like they are going to explode.
the only problem with this game is the unstable servers which seem to kick you off now and again.

was reading something on a forum today about it, should be out soon, i think they are having problems with their servers as well which they are fixing. They didn't think the demand from PS3 users was going to be so high.
When it's released your system will prompt you to update when you load the game up.
It seems the PS3 is selling loads now so god knows what will happen when the christmas lot come online !
I think there is a patch out today for assassins creed also and the expansion pack omega dawn for warhawk is coming out this month for 4 to 5 quid as a download.

not long got the PS3 so have been causing havoc on Warhawk most of the time, nothing better than jumping out from behind a rock and giving a passing tank some flame thrower treatment.
I am going to start playing COD4 more but i think a patch is coming out soon to fix some of the problems such as your rank not saving (this has happened to me), lag problems (last night was bad i was moving like some 110 yr old who served in WW1) and team matching problems such as putting all the low level punters in against high level people with loads of perks and taking ages to find games.
The dying bloke firing his pistol or throwing a grenade is a perk you can unlock, and watch out because some of them have the radar blocking perk which i didn't know about so you can't see them.
Another thing i didn't know was if you use a silencer you don't show up on the radar when firing but please correct me if i have that wrong.
I did manage to shoot down the enemies helicopter last night for the first time which was good watching it spin to it's death.
If they sort all or most of the problems out this will be such a good game.
Nothing worse than some hyper 10 yr old kicking you in the balls at it though the embarrassment is too much they would never beat me on the old zx spectrum games.

I was on it last night for the first time and got my arse kicked good style on team deathmatch, although i never came last in any game which is a big surprise, don't know if anybody from here was on the same game but there was a few scottish accents in the game and some little kid who was laughing as he shot me again and again and again.
Only really got into online games since getting the PS3.
I seem to shoot people at close range with a full magazine and they just turn round and blast me in the head with one shot, i suck at this game different story on warhawk though i can hold my own on that.

40gb version plays ps1 games (software is emulated) but no PS2 games (hardware has been removed).
60gb vsersion plays ps1 and something like 80 to 90% of PS2 games.

Good advice for people the only thing i would also get is AVG root checker program.
I use a netgear router which has 2 firewalls with AVG anti virus, AVG spyware, Spybot, AVG root checker and the standard XP firewall.
Never had any problems.
All the AVG stuff is free although the spyware progam has some functions disabled after 30 days trial but you can still manually update from it's options and scan/delete with it.
A good site to check your computer is www.grc.com (click on the shields up link) this checks your cpmputer's security such as port status etc.

The fact we are talking about this shows how far we have improved since Smith came back, no club was interested in any of our players during the dark times of Le Guen.
If they go they go no player is bigger than the club, and the EPL is well overrated some of the dross you have to watch down here is unbelievable, it's no wonder the championship crowds are going up and some premiership teams can't fill their grounds.

At least the Uefa spotlight is on them now, they are scum and will soon be causing trouble again.
I moved south years ago so at least i don't have to listen to the Tim press / goverment defending them, i wouldn't be suprised if the pope turned up on the news to defend the worlds greatest fans !

The only thing i want to see Boruc doing is puting his back out, when he has to keep picking the ball out of the net when we play them.
Also sick of Brazil on Talk sport i nearly butted the radio in the car this morining having to listen him.
They will get next to no punishment, a small fine and a warning.

The charm offensive is on.
The media down here in England is already taking their side and it will help them with Milan not making a fuss about it, keep seeing/hearing comments about them being the best fans in Europe (makes me sick)
If it was us we would get hung but i think they will get a small fine and Celtic will promise to ban him if they ever find him.
Then again they probably have people behind the scenes sticking up for the club unlike our lot who just bow their heads and come across like they are ashamed of their own support.
Still at least their morale high ground has been blown out of the water.

i have to slightly disagree with mike newell here, i think most scots are actually very conservative, wanting to be left in peace, looking for value for money, objecting to change etc. where they part with the Conservatives is this insane insistence that only people who run businesses can decide how society will pan out. that, tho, is the main platform of the tory party and anyone who becomes the public face of same can expect to be at odds with more people than will agree with him. therefore, i'd rather said figurehead was not the person who was, at the same time, the owner/chair of RFC. we'll find strife enough as it is without going looking for conflict.

If we can't beat teams like RSB ot Tallin then we should just forget Champions League football, What is the point of wanting the worse team in the draw because that is the only one we can beat so that we can then get humped by every team in the group stages.

I would have them all back including Boumsong and Arteta, better than some of the spl bottom six players running around at the moment, sometimes i'm confused when i hear people going on about how great, players like Adam and Hutton are (not just those two).
As for Arteta he would leave Everton tomorrow if someone came in for him, Everton are mince they are no better than us.
Oh and i see Ball is doing ok at Man City he was their best player the other day against Chelsea.
Most of the current team would not make it into our first team a few years ago.
I will reserve judgement on where we are going or going to end up until the summer when we will see if any money is going to be made available and some decent players purchased if not i think we are in big trouble. <cry>
