Wouldnt be happy no. His time is up.

Again walters compete distain for youth will be to our detriment.
-
Hes going nowhere.
-
Inexplicable droppd after some great form.
Reason = Walter hates youth.
-
Could have been a great full back if it wasn't for his injury. Wish him all the best in his career, albeit at a lower level than he was capable of.
-
Meh I lost alot of interest in Scotland due to Burley
He can't hurt you anymore, mate. The bad man is gone
-
Wud rather they didn't to be honest, Scotland is a distraction and possible injury opportunity for our players. Wud rather they didn't bother, Scotland are shite anyway. Who gives a fuk about it honestly, we r always the "almost got there" team. Pointless
Exactly, why bother with a team that doesn't win things?
Where the glory in that?
-
in all honesty, while that wee dick fletcher is captain and shite like robson, broon, mcmanus and caldwell are getting a game
fuck Scotland
on the other hand if Mr Levein was to grow a set of balls and pick only the best players he will have a team which looks like this
McGregor
Hutton
S Smith
Webster
Wilson
Thomson
McCulloch
Fleck
Naismith
Boyd
Miller
then i would support them, but the best players dont get picked for Scotland
The country or the national team?
-
We can do it, lads. As long as we pick up all the easy points and don't have a mare against the Czechs'.
-
Was thinking that because it was Allys team that maybe he still has issues with him? Ridiculous the lad wasn't even on the bench. mUST be getting itchy feet the way hes been treated here.
-
Danny Wilson needs to learn to start playing the simple pass instead of the constant long ball.
Long balls by-passing the midfield and soaring over the strikers are absolutely no use, and it's not only him!
He played nice balls along the deck when he first came through. As we predicted this has been taught out of him by Smith and co.
"Less of that fancy stuff you, get that ball up the fucking park pronto!"
-
Why wasn't he even in the squad today?
Ally still have issues with him?
-
Wilson should still get a half dozen more starts and an appearance in the final this season. He need the experience as he will be taking (or should be) over from Weir next season.
-
Its just a very good training facility which we are no doubt telling laddies to lump the ball up the field as soon as they get it, in. As somone said above.
You need to have a system in place which promotes technique, diet etc the lot. You basically have to baby sit young players until they come of age.
Celtic actually implementend a very comprehensive system last year based on the European model. They have their 13-14 year olds training 9 times per week, at Lennox town before school etc and have bunged them all into the same school so they can monitor them. More scottish clubs need to do this thing, but its expensive.

We do people only notice a player is one footed when their preferred foot is their left.
-
Great news for the lad himself and the national side.
-
There we go. As I said, Boyd is going nowhere. Sit back and enjoy him for many more years

Less than 24 hours left. Hes going nowhere, calm down folks.
That's me calm now, cheers bud.
Any time, pal.

You could also add Connor Ramsay to that last.
Very good player with an insane shot, played for St.Mirren and he is 16.
Yeah, although hes only appeared once or twice. Haven't seem him play right enough.
-
Isn't David Wotherspoon only 17 or 18? No way is he 20.
Broke through at 19, was 20 recently.
-
Bump, I though this might have provoked a bit of positive dicussion from the few of us on here that support the national side...
-
Ness is one of the best things in our youth set up, maybe on par with Fleck and Wilson. Its a shame hes not getting any game time. Hes not even regarded immediate back up so a loan deal would be appropriate.

To be fair, there are playing coming through. Take a step back and look how many lads are playing first team football down south - The two Fletchers, Kevin McDonald, Dorrans and a good few more. Also SFA are implementing 4 aside games until the age of 8, and 7 aside until the age of 12 - much like the Dutch and other nations.
Of course, clubs have to comply, on that level it is out of the authorities hands.
