  1. I've defended Law on a number of occasions as I believe there is decent player in there somewhere.

However on Saturday I had hospitality as I sponsor him and it was my "meet the player" game.

He came into our box about 20 mins after full time. He was introduced and I think he and the guy introducing him expected some sort of applause or something. As you can imagine it was just an awkward silence.

I asked him if he had any excuses for the performance today and his reply was "the gaffer has only been here for 2 days. Things don't happen overnight". I replied by saying that he himself had been here all season though and he shouldn't be hiding behind McCall.

I've probably never seen anyone look more awkward after that. He didn't reply and quickly made a beeline for the door.

I'd have had much more respect if he had acknowledged that he and the rest of the team had been piss poor but clearly he has shown what a shite bag he is.

Looking forward to round 2 with him at mp on 21 April though!

  2. This is from a poster on owlstalk

Season long loan and to sign him year after

Was out with him saturday night

The lads homesick and been told he can leave

Homesick? He is only in Sheffiield ffs.

Sounds like he has the same amount of backbone as our current squad!

  3. This squad have the quality... Its the manager job to set them up tactically and motivate if need be..

Fact remains none of that current management team want to stay with us in the long run... So what's there motivation... Get the manager now n we will get promotion...

Do they though? I haven't seen any signs of that from the squad at any time in the last 3 years.

There may be some decent individual performers but as a whole squad, there is no sign of potential for me

  4. The feeling amongst our support at 5pm today is in stark contrast to how the majority of us were feeling at the same time yesterday.

For anyone who thought that the battle for our club was over yesterday, today's fixture is your wake up call.

Gutless, spineless, self interested money grabbers have been terms most vocally put to those off the park in recent months, whilst the players & management have used the excuse of the distraction of off field issues.

We are now not even an also ran top flight football team. We are a mediocre 2nd tier side incapable of beating part time players. Our playing squad carries the same cancerous incompetence that our boardroom did until recently and like the off the park approach, we need to look at wholesale changes on the park too.

We are first and foremost a football club. We have become hmrc and shareholding amateur experts by consequence of the past few years but ultimately we are football supporters, following a team who's players have given up, instead choosing to steal a wage form our beloved club.

We face a long long road back through the wilderness that will only be shortened if decisive action and investment is made in our playing and coaching departments immediately

  5. agree with the comments above about 30m being the sort of figure we would be lookign at.

With that we would need new players and management in the short term as well as clearing existing debts to the likes of MA and potentially buying out the less favourable ocntracts we are in. In the longer term the key is establishing a scouting and development system which woudl allow us to start producing andd developing our own talent

  6. Excellent to see and it is greta we are finally making up for lost time.

Saldy RF shoudl have been around in 2012 and we may have what so many people crave - i.e. meaningful fan presence within the shareholding of the club.

Hind sight is a wonderful thing thougfg and art least now the momentum is there it can be kept going.

I'd say there is potential for a realistic 25-30k membership within our support. If we really pressed it forward, it coudl be double that

  7. I thought all the wee dafties that were leading the march would have to be in before this one given it is an evening kick off but sadly not.

Sadly none of them realise that those orcestrating them (Housten, etc) have no interest in our club

What exactly is this protest set to achive anyway.

If you are goign to shout about anythign, get in and roar at the useless cunts in our team to get their act together.

  8. As the title reads.

First of all can I say this is something that I do not support and is wrong, you should never boo anyone in the Rangers shirt, while on the park. Showing the players your displeasure at half time or on the final whistle by booing - given the current situation and heartless wasters in our strips - is going to happen, and they mostly deserve it.

This being said, would you start to boo the likes of Ricky Foster, Ian Black and Jig, while on the park, if it got the message across to the managment team, and they were dropped for youth? I know this is controversial, but the anger I feel from not just on here but the Rangers support as a whole seems to suggest it could happen, at some point. Would this get the undroppables dropped? Does the current manager even know our feelings towards these imposters?

    Tin hat on.

The vast majority of the 1st team squad and coaching staff are nothign short of wage thieves and deserve all the pelters they get (an then some).

It is impossible to get behind a team and amanger who clearly do not give a shit about the club or fans. They are embarassment to our great club and we should not stop at booing them buut shoudl be chasing them down Edminston Drive

  9. This has some of the hall marks of a transfer day of old for me. We used to do our business on the quiet and only announce deals when done.

Hopign the mystery signing is a good one and somoen who will help us ona run of wins to try and close the gap at the top of the league
