C'mon guys lets be honest here, we shouldn't be thinking, we can stick a Midfielder in. We shouldnt even be in this circumstance anyway. If Walter had some sence, he would have been looking for a back up of Cuéllars stature in the transfer window. We have Webster, Dailly and Broadfoot. None of which could in my opinion even tie Cuéllar's boots but, they will do if push comes to shove.
With the 9 million we made from Hutton smith should have tried to buy another defender. Some might say the Hutton deal was done too late to find a replacement, but we could have done the same as we did with Roy Carroll, put a bid in for a great defender, and made it subect of the Hutton transfer.
I think Broadfoot looks the best of an Average bunch. I'd be putting him in before Webster.
