  1. I don't think we should be standing still.

There are a number of talented young players out there who we could sign and they could also develop while we climb up the leagues.

As an example should we not look at Liam Jelly simply because McLeod & Hutton are playing well?

We are still short in a few areas and actually a bit weak in certain areas on the park too.

They wouldn't be standing still though, the youngsters will only improve with game time.

Billy McKay and Liam Kelly are the type of players I'd hope we'd sign for the first division though.

  2. Well said Pipedown, I agree that we should save the money and develop what we have as there are some cracking youngsters who have done a great job and they deserve to have a bit of faith shown in them. Obviously we need to see what happens regarding reconstruction etc but there is no reason for us to go and waste money when we have good players here who will do, and are doing, the job.

I think my point has been proven by the fact that we have signed Ian Black, Kevin Kyle and Francisco Sandaza who have done fuck all so far compared to the youngsters.

  3. You can' stand still though , that takes you backwards.. (Does that make sense?)

I don't think we need any marquee signings though, i think we should maybe be looking at QOS players , look at their record this season, very good indeed .

But we won't be standing still though. These are young players, they only have room to improve.

If we sign any players on pre-contracts, I'd like them to also be young players.

I've been shouting about Billy McKay since October, he would be a good signing in the future. Great goalscorer, just what we need when Jig moves on.

  4. As the title says, do we?

We have a squad that are walking the league. Plenty of youngsters shining brightly. Why change this?

Our squad is definitely strong enough to walk division 2 as well.

I'd be happy to see the likes of Hegarty, Mckay, Templeton, McLeod, Little, Cole, Aird, Hemmings and Naismith continue to get games and improve over the next couple of years rather than splash money on wages, agent fees, signing-on fees etc.

Once we are in the First division, we will need to start thinking about signing players. We will need a stronger core to the team, so players like Perry and Ian Black who I don't rate that highly will need to be replaced with more experienced players.

Right now though, I'm enjoying going to Ibrox and a few away games and supporting these young boys who are living the dream, and doing it convincingly.

We will still have a chance in the cups next season now that the team have gelled together and are performing almost week in, week out.

Save the money Charles, we don't need it right now.

  5. Just started FUT for the first time. Every time I get to play about 5 minutes of a match then it kicks me off saying connection lost.

My internet connection is fine, 100%.

Is there anything you can recommend me checking? Really doing my tits in right now.

    COD works fine.

  6. El Chino.

What a player he was, always loved watching him play. He knew how to control and hit a ball. What a pity his career was blighted by injury, could have been one of the best players ever.

He was also at one point, the highest paid player on the planet.

Some of them goals are just unbelievable! :praise:
