He was the worst of our midfielders today in my oppinion, he never made any attempt to support the lone striker and far too many of his passes went astray. Mendes has simply been living off of the wave of excitement which came from his first few games, when really he has been very poor for about a month now.
Killie apart, you are correct.
I've been saying it since October - Mendes is somewhat overated, or was. Seems a lot of folk are waking up to it now.
He can definitely produce some wonderful passes and play in general, but he fucks up way more often than he gets it right. Just like Charlie Adam did.
mendes is the most overrated player at ibrox

Interested to know if you would agree that was the flatest, most lifeless performance from a Rangers side in an OF final you have ever seen?
I have seen some poor Rangers teams in my time, but never a side like this which cannot get motivated for the big occasion. As tepid as our capitulation in Manchester last year, but to a weaker side.

and this is the second worse team i ve seen behind john greigs team
the players are third rate and with no money we will slide into mediocrity
for the next few years
what was wrong with greigs first season, it was not that bad.
fair enough first season was ok
but lost respect for greig for dropping davie cooper saying he had no passion for the club!

Lafferty and Miller had 1 decent shot in the 65 mins. Lafferty lost every ball in the air (bar 1). God only knows why Daily came on (although Mcculloch did pick up an injury). We could have really done with width today but we didnt have any wide players on the bench (Aaron, Beadsly and to a lesser extent Fleck).
