Check out Rendo, handful of posts under his belt and demanding that threads be closed like some kind of Billy Big Helmet. Pipe doon son.

This thread still open? 59 pages of Barton tweets and still 2 weeks to go ( I think lost count). ???

No direct references to upcoming game, no team or score predictions, no comment on the game before or after,

Just your memories, recollections, stories and comment on previous Gers/QOTS games and memories or facts of other QOTS games.

Queen of the South are often humorously cited as the only league club in the United Kingdom to be mentioned in the Bible. Luke 11:31 states "The Queen of the South shall rise up at the judgment with the men of this generation and condemn them..." Queen of the South is similarly quoted under Matthew 12:42.[9] In the biblical quote the "Queen of the South" is considered to be the Queen of Sheba. (In 2005 the issue was investigated by The Guardian website in their series "The Knowledge" who also found full references to Arsenal, Bury and Reading as well as partial references to "hearts", "wolves", "forest", "hammer", "spurs" and "man's field".

    Questions: (No googling)

    1) Which Queen Of The South player was the first player to collect a complete set of all four senior Scottish football winners medals when he played in the 2002–03 Scottish Challenge Cup final 2–0 win for Queens against Brechin City to add to his medals haul gathered elsewhere

    2)  Which two teams played in the first Scottish League floodlit match ?

    3) Which 61 year old trialist scored a penalty for Queen Of The South in a reserve match ?

    1) Andy Goram - My wife worked behind the bar at Pamerston and  he came in before every match to fill his water bottle with white wine.

    2) No idea

    3) Has to be Ally Macleod

  3. Has it snowed yet down there mate?

Small amount of snow last night but it turned to mush and melted this morning.

Main danger would be M74 which can get pretty bad at the high points (when you loose the radio).

I have heard of people getting trapped for hrs and having to be rescued when its really bad.

Weather looks ok for tomorrow though.

  4. Your at it C.

Dean has been MIA in almost every game he has played right through the divisions.

Odd goal here and there along with continuous invisible man impressions is not first team material.

Lost count of number of games where I forgot he was on the pitch.

Only plays 1 maybe 2 decent games a season then everyone remembers his quality.

Starts next game and back to waste of a jersey \ wage.

Always liked him at Killie but not sure how consistent he was for them.

    Shame it hasn't worked out.

Is it down to management, pressure of playing for Rangers or player himself?

Don't know, but will take a lot to convince that he is worthy of first team.

Aird can be inconsistant but always looks for the ball and tries to make thing happen.

Doesn't always come off but never hides.

  5. Mostly them, but not too worried about the individual battles.

The first league title when we get back will be the sweetest yet.

Back where we belong after fighting our way to the top.

Ibrox will be packed full that day with thousands outside celebrating.

Hungover to fuck I will bounce into work bright and early the next day just to see the pain on those toothless unwashed faces.

It will be like helecoptor Sunday x 1000000.

  6. Cammy had medical and signed pre contract last Wednesday.

Fairly common knowledge around Annan and was talk of canteen last week.

The wife spoke to a member of his family who confirmed it this afternoon.

Good signing and a lot of happy Bluenoses down our way.

  7. Although...

We're up to our knees in EBTs...

    Hmmm.

    Hullo Hullo

    Charlie Charlie Green

    Hullo Hullo

    He saved our football team

We were up to our knees in EBTs...

    But we refused to die.......

regan, doncaster, lawwel, thompson (x2) and all the other cock sockets can get to fuck

We can call that 1st draft

  8. Watched this game in maternity ward with another expectant father.

Nurses had to keep reminding us where we were.

After the game i told my wife the name of our new daughter who was due anytime.

Daniel Lee DeMarcus - Mother in law thought it was a beautiful name :)

Father in law was pishing himself laughing.

Name got rejected when they found out although managed to get Durrant Gascoigne in after my ahem...Great Grandfather.

  9. Thanks everyone for your messages.

The wee one was good as new and even diving for coins in the pool which gave me a few heart in mouth moments but at least it showed me that she was back to normal.

On the Sunday morning, the NI Bear was laughing when he heard us arguing over Rangers- Brechin game.

My daughter predicted Rangers 8 - Brechin 5 and i was trying to tell her that the wee teams would struggle against our defence.

She was't having any of it and back to her cheeky wee self that's when i knew she was ok.

Seems she was sort of correct about our back line :) but at least it can only get better.

We got out after 2 days and made sure she had the best holiday ever.

Also promised her the new Gers top.

    Thanks again WATP

  10. Does anyone know a Northern Irish Bear that was admitted to Tenerife Hospital (south) on Saturday 28th July with a suspected heart attack?

It was our first day in Tenerife and my 4 year old daughter had an accident in the pool, luckily 2 nurses on holiday stepped in to give her mouth to mouth & CPR.

We ended up in Tenerife Hospital near Los Cristianos in the Intensive care ward.

We were assured that she was going to be ok but my Wife and I were still in shock watching the monitors and tubes trying desperately not to think about what nearly happened.

That evening a man was brought into a bed near us.

All I heard was a Northern Irish accent asking “Is that a Rangers top”.

    “Aye” I said.

    “Good man” the Bear responded.

I could see the tears in my wife’s eyes as we just looked at each other and allowed ourselves a brief smile for first time in ages.

Those two words brought us comfort, hope and left us feeling less alone in the world.

    We really are the people.

No matter where you go, no matter what happens we are all one big family, part of something special and nobody can ever take that away from us.

We were moved to another room on the Sunday morning and I never got a chance to speak after that although I sent the Wife along to tell him the Rangers – Brechin score.

I just wanted to try and find out if the NI Bear made it home ok safe and sound.

I also want to thank him for his kind words and encouragement.

Also to let him know that my wee one made a full recovery and was back in the pool 2 hours after getting released from hospital.

She did keep asking when we were going to watch the Rangers game (Brechin) but didn’t have to heart to tell her we missed it.

If anyone knows this guy, please can you pass the message onto him.

    WATP

  11. For fucks sake, i really thought he would be a star for Rangers.

IF all the big earners leave we will need the young talent to see us through.

If the kids played 3-4 years together through the leagues we would have a team ready for Europe when we got back.

    Its just more pish everyday.

Has Boggtrotters thread reached 200 pages yet?

I could use some cheering up.
