If he starts, I'll cry. Edu didn't deserve to be subbed today, especially not for him! I'd rather have Ness alongside Davis, but we need to make do with what we've got, and Edu is a better footballer than Jig.

The class of Barca etc shouldnt be an issue for me this year, because you pick your team before you search for a match, and they pair you up with a similar level of opposition. Sounds much improved.
But I like playing people who are shit so the only team they can play as is Barca! Jelavic destroys them every time!

As a shot in the dark I reckon there's maybe 1/1.5 million left in the pot. If that all goes to a striker we'll need a bit of luck to get someone good enough. I also think a loan is risky ecause strikers need longer to mature and contribute goals.
A bit of quality scouting and luck and we might be ok.

Let's just start by hoping we even manage to get him a partner.
Hope we actually sign someone who can do a job for us! A few loan deals perhaps.

You 100% sure about that? I'm not disagreeing, I just think its very very possible. Especially when you consider the quality of chances a good partner will give you, instead of having to create all of your own.
Ah, I suppose his chances weren't really on a plate, but maybe luck just wasn't on his side tonight. That may be a bit of a knee jerk reaction from me though. Not calmed down yet!

Total different circumstance in my opinion.
I guess that's a bad example. But a good partner doesn't make you finish your chances better was the point I attempted to get across.

IMO the partner shouldn't make such a huge difference that when he does have a chance he can score. Several very good chances tonight, but didn't take them.

Saying he needs a partner is like saying if edu had the right partner he'd somehow play fantastically.

I can empathise with him though. It must be horrific to be part of a 1 man strike force in a team with no width or service.
