He either succeeds or he doesnt. Its a 50/50 for me - with every manager, regardless of nationality. Our last 3 British vs. our last 3 foreign... Murty/Warburton/McCoist vs Pedro/Le Guen/Advocaat... You can argue that the British ones were duds, just like 2 of the foreign ones but I dont think its down to nationality at all.
