  1. Why on earth would we reject this?

If he is being genuine which he probably isn't we should sign him up, an experienced player who could help our youngsters out a lot. We also need players fast and the fact he is offering to play for free which is a terrific gesture.

  2. Torres

    Hazard Oscar Mata

    Ramires Lampard

Unless the new signings flop massively, that is a solid midfield and attack right there. Especially when there is also De Bruyne, Romeu, Essien, Marin, Meireles, Sturridge and Lukaku who could come in for one of those players, and do a more than decent job!

And players like Hulk, André Schürrle, Willian and Victor Moses are all still being linked!

Not to mention that Eden's younger brother Thorgan Hazard has signed, and Eden has gone on record to say that Thorgan will be a better player than him.

If I wasn't a Manchester City and PSG fan, I might back Chelsea to do well in the next few seasons.

    Fuck sake

  3. Just played the demo and im in shock because this Pes is actually very good, the animations are much better and much more fluid compared to the last couple of years and you can actually defend! the way they have the manual passing/shooting is quality too and something fifa need to implement.

Massive step in the right direction.

  4. Never happy with ex taigs signing for us.

Just right now we have more things to worry about, we have been put in the third division and we don't even have a license. We badly need players and at this moment in time I could take a an ex taig fringe player playing for us in the third division.

  5. If they were going to fake a rivalry then surely they would do it an easier way, a way which didnt involve a brawl, someone getting glassed and a trainer getting busted open.

And on the fight, I thought Chisora was looking good and it was actually turning in his favour. He was upping the pace and Haye seemed to be slowing. Haye looked good tho and that combo was absolutely brutal and its a credit to Chisoras heart and chin that he managed to get up twice.

  6. Oh yeah it comes across as being nothing more than a character. Like kaiser mentioned the character he plays is pure pro wrestling and I think Cahel has openly admitted to being a big wrestling fan growing up so I'm surprised that he does it. It sells fights. Infact one of the promo's he cut (in January maybe) was almost word for word a promo that Supertsar Billy Graham cut back in the 70's

But yeah whatever he does, he's probably one of the most engaging and entertaining characters in the whole of MMA.

Do you know what I would search for to find that podcast on Itunes, I would be really interested in hearing it.

  7. TUPE is just a transfer over on existing terms.

They would have kept the cut-price transfer fee's they agreed too.

Its not hard to grasp, transfer over and leave for a cut price fee and get us some cash or challenge the transfer and leave for nothing and get themself some cash. It was done for personal greed. It doesn't help when you have Naismith and Whittaker coming out with them owing no loyalty because its a new club or whatever the pishy statement was.

  8. The Football Club and the Company are not the same thing.

Its that simple, SPL/SFA rules see the distinction between them. Not only that but they are still trying to punish us for the EBT's and Dual Contract stuff. Why if we were a different Club would we be getting punished?

Its an open and shut case, the only people who try and argue this are taigs and bitter diddy club fans.

You can also look at Leeds, Boro and Charlton as examples of a NewCo and Airdrie, Clydebank and Gretna are examples of a new Club.

  9. This is the link to the video where Charles Green says liquidation ends history

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0k0IkDTPQWU

I cant believe you quoted Paul Clark. Yeah cause he is honest and trustworthy.

    And your HMRC quote?

"Liquidation will enable a sale of the football assets to be made to a new company, thereby ensuring that football will continue at Ibrox." - HMRC

All this says is that football will continue at Ibrox. Which it will.

    And the BDO quote?

That was from their PR lady. Putting a positive spin on it.

Leeds United, Charlton and Middlesborough completely different scenarios.

I love how I am a 'taig' because I have a different opinion.

I will follow the new club.

But it is that. A new club. Our players are saying it. Our owner said it. And many of our fans are saying it.

Does not make me a 'taig'

    Makes me honest.

No you're saying its a "fact" we are a new club yet you have shown NO facts.

The whole point of that post was showing the distinction between a Club and Company because you are trying to say that there is no distinction.

And you answered none of the points I posted.

You look desperate tho. "Paul Clark is a liar, it was a BDO pr lady putting a positive spin on things and the Leeds United, Boro and Charlton situations are different". Why would a Rangers fan say such things to try and say we are a new club?

The youtube video was a video made by a taig and he doesn't even say that we lose our history.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/scotland/18417314 - 8:25, Green interview.

And in what way is the Leeds, Boro and Charlton situations different?

Face it, the SPL and SFA see the distinction between Club and Company as do HMRC and BDO.

  10. The whole point of it was the SFA and SPL want and need us in the SPL. So when they changed the rules to allow a NEWCO the chance to get straight back into SPL they said as a deal clincher we will ensure that they are still punished. They though they could keep the other clubs sweet while parachuting us straight back into the SPL. They assumed that the majority of the SPL clubs would see sense and vote us in. Now it has backfired.

What a lot of people forget it that up until they introduced this voting system there were no rules for a NEWCO joining the SPL. They actually introduced this to help us. At the time the unwashed were fuming. Again to try and keep everyone sweet they promised that the new Rangers would be punished. It has all backfired. The SPL clubs are cutting their noses off and we will be out of SPL.

There was an interview with Charles Green and its on youtube just before CVA was rejected and he says in that interview that if liquidated the history will die. That was what got me. This is why I was so devastated when liquidation happened.

I wish I could be like some of you but the facts are this is a new football club.

Again though the support is Rangers not the name or the company. Most of us will always be there

    Link to the youtube video?

You seem quite forceful in saying this is a new Football Club so im assuming you are a taig.

So a NewCo breaks the timeline of the club? we were formed in 1872 and were registered as a company in 1899 so the years between 1872 and 1899 don't actually exist?

And you are also saying that there is no distinction between Club and Company?

"This is a petition for judicial review by the Rangers Football Club plc, a company presently in administration. That company presently operates Rangers Football Club (to whom I shall refer as "Rangers"). Rangers are members of the Scottish Football Association ("the SFA")."

Lord Glennie quite clearly finds the distinction between Club and Company.

What about the EBT and Dual contracts investigation? surely if our timeline had been broken and we have no history this would be dropped? No?! so you're saying the SPL and SFA finds the distinction between Club and Company too?

"The Club will continue to operate as it has always done but within a new company structure." - Paul Clark

"However, we should make it clear that Rangers Football Club will continue within a new company structure and the Club survives and will continue playing football at Ibrox." - Paul Clark

"Liquidation will enable a sale of the football assets to be made to a new company, thereby ensuring that football will continue at Ibrox." - HMRC

"will not mean the end of football at Ibrox – only the end of the company that ran the club". - BDO

You see how HMRC and BDO also believe that a Club and a Company are different?

Leeds, Charlton and Middlesborough have all had their companies Liquidated and all have their history intact.

    Move along now.

  11. This should be no surprise.

Im fucking raging still tho, wonder if Jig will be the only one to show some loyalty. We gave Aluko a chance and he walks out first chance? same with McCabe. Both young players who were given a chance to showcase there talent at a big club in front of thousands and the first chance they get they have walked out.

Ok at least if they were going to the Premiership or we offered them awful deals I would understand but it was just a transfer to the NewCo on the same deal(i think?) and they objected to it walking away for nothing not even getting us any sort of fee.

Fuck them, we will be back bigger than ever.

  12. Exactly what most SPL clubs and their supporters want to do to us now!

No we are a NewCo now.

Doing this is going down the Airdrieonians route.

Being honest I would always support the club, I just wouldnt be happy with us effectively killing another team for no reason.

  13. Fair enough i apologise for having a go, but i cant for the life of me understand why a gers man would think we deserve to be further punished after our club has been smashed from pillar to post.

And yes, i think if we didnt play in such a bitter hate filled country wed be getting support from the other clubs who would want as strong a league as possible, increased revenue and also support from the FA who should also want that. Further sanctions are counter productive, what would they achieve? It would simply stifle the league, lessen interest in the league and damage the product.

The club was baught over, which should conclude a horrible piece of history in scottish football where the actions of few created many victims. Its time we draw a line under it now and get back to normal, and let scottish football get back to being as strong as it can be.

    Fair enough mate.

I would take a points deduction but all this pish about 50/50 gate revunue etc is ridiculous.

The bitter fans of this corrupt League will never draw a line under it and get back to normal, they want us thrown to division 3 without thinking reasonably about how that will effect this League financially and completely fuck our co-efficient.

When it comes to the Leeds situation there only sanction was a deduction of points and hopefully its the same for us but I think they will try and throw the book at us.

  14. and whos faults that?

we declared EBT payments to the tax man every year in our tax returns from the year they started in 2000. And as a PLC it was public knowedge.

Do you think it's fair they came chapping our door 10 years later, telling us that theyve decided we owe more tax, and they are also charging us 10 years worth of interest & also thrown in penalties and legal fees - and refusing to entertain any negotiation?

They crippled the club which was working it's way to becoming debt free, working £80m debt down to £18m in debt while still winning titles on the pitch. The tax bill prompted Lloyds to demand the rest of the £18m because they were worried they might not see that £18m if the taxman got his way, meaning Murray had to find a buyer.

All this happened we still don't know if we were in the wrong about EBT's and how much me owe, with many independant tax lawyers tellign the media we had a very good chance of winning the case.

We were then fraudulently baught over by a crook who used forged documents & fake proof of funding letters for an illegal takeover which used the business future funding to purchase it. In doing so, he did not clear the £18m debt as promised from his own pocket, instead he created new debt to the tune of £27m, and in his trail of destruction whackedon another £9m debt to the taxman on top of what they already claim we owe.

and to top off HMRC's deplorable conduct, they refused creditors & smallshareholders any chance to get something back by refusing a £9m CVA offer, instead £5.5m will be split. A share in an extra £4m denied to the small businesses & and small shareholders losing their entire investment. And why, because HMRC suddenly decided it was policy.

As far as Craig whyte is concerned RFC are victims of a fradulent & criminal scam. He plunged us into administration in his wreckless teure, when in actual fact, he should have been clearning the debt and been prepared to come up with a solution for the tax case, as were the conditiosn of his take over.

The result, we had to sell our best player, lost 10 points, lost the league, and then recevied the maximum possible fine for "bringing the game into disrepute".

We also lose on out Europe for 3 seasons and will suffer financially from that.

Only a Rangers hater would think we deserve to be further punished when we've been victims of such a horrible chain of events, with no protection from the relevant authorites.

Ok so we were fucked over big time, something everyone already knows and nobody is disputing.

Do you think we should just get back into the SPL without a points deduction? being realistic and all that.

And a Rangers hater? get a grip mate.

  15. We haven't got off scot-free ffs. we got 10 points took off us which is normal for going into Admin, we got fined etc.

Then they started making up these rules about transfer bans and fined us again.

No one has got of "scot-free".

    True.

But a lot of our fans are saying stuff like SPL without penalties/sanctions or third division.

By going down a NewCo route we are getting away with a ton of debt and are not paying the money we owe to a lot of companys and clubs.

We have got the 3 year ban from Europe which is standard but if we are to get in the SPL we will be looking at starting on -10 points and maybe a fine.

Its got to be in reason tho, making up punishments like the transfer embargo etc is a lot of shite.

    I don't buy rags Ricky.
