  1. I'm not slagging him but he didn't make it in England before, why would he now? Also now into his 30's is he an attractive option for an EPL club?

Someone else mentioned he has won us points but lost us them too - you only have to look at last Saturday's game. A penalty and a chance at the end.

Would I prefer him to stay? Yes

Is he replaceable? Yes - we have Jelavic coming back, Kyle is coming on (at last) and we have Beattie (if he gets/keeps fit and stays off the mince pies). Any youngsters coming through?

It's not the end of the world if he leaves and at the end of the day he is the one who decides. If he doesn't want to play for the Rangers then Keep Calm, Carry On.

  2. that's the thing - stories, rumours etc

when I went to London for the first time in my life I've expected everybody to speak with perfect Queen's English, to see snobbish and greedy, cold and distant people, I've expected 5 o'clock tea and all that stuff. And I've experienced a real cultural shock, cz everything was very different from what I thought it would be. Ever since I try not to put stereotypes and label people and nations just because of my own lack of knowledge ;)

I think that 8 years is plenty of time, plus Russia hosts Olympic Games in 2014, so defo experience gained from that event would be taken into consideration.

I'm sure this WC would be great :P

How niaive!! No one speaks English!! No one is fucking English!!!

  3. It's worse than that.

The two games are within 19-hours of one another.

One is in Glasgow (the council tip in the east end), which won't finish until 5.00 pm (approx) - he then has to eat, relax, sleep and be up at the crack of dawn to travel up to Dundee for a 12.00 noon kick-off.

Now I'm going out for a few bevvies tomorrow night and I'll struggle to make a supporters bus for 9.00 am on Sunday - fuck knows how this 45-year-old "athlete" will cope with it.

I foresee a scenario where he'll be struggling to keep up with play and mental tiredness will also be a factor.

This has the potential for a major fuck up by the SFA - a bigger fuck-up than they've managed to concoct with this saga so far.

And the possibility of his windows caved in during the evening and phone ringing with death threats all night. Bit that's only going to be a problem if the taigs don't get every decision.

  4. See when Naisy went through on Van DerSar and got a touch on the ball, then VDS touched it away but took Naisy clean out,how come that was not classed as a penalty.

When Naisy took the boy out at othe other end he did so after the player played the ball so theyre very similair incidents IMO.

    It's a conspiracy :shifty:

  5. With regards to the first email sent, I would be very interested to see the list of who Dallas forwarded it to and also who it originated from and how many people had also forwarded it on prior to Dallas. I would bet my bottom dollar that theres at least a few sellick minded in amongst that lot who had a chuckle at it and probably sent it on to others as well.

Exactly. Have sailed close to the wind on this front myself at my last job. To sack Dallas his employer would have to show that everyone has been tresated the same - so if he received it internally, or anyone else forwarded on they would have to be sacked too. Could be noone left at rhe SFA!!

  6. Hi mate been up to Ibrox on only a few occasions fitted some games in when visiting my fathers birthplace near Glasgow, the White Hart pub close to Heathrow welcomes all Bears but sometimes just at home when on Skysports or ESPN and if the shift work allows it.

I have drunk in the White Hart (many years ago) used to stay in west drayton then hillingdon when i was working at cranford. you should try the London RSA at Wood Green for a game if you get the chance.
