Sorry, can you explain how buying the scarf costs the club the price of a ticket plus £2.50? Are you trying to say that the £2.50 is lost to the club? If so then yes, I knew that. Buying the scarf doesn't 'cost' the club anything. It gives them £7.50 that they may not have had otherwise and helps to fill Ibrox (assuming the guys running it don't do a runner)
As far as the RFFF goes, I've mentioned I'm going to pledge £100 to them. I just wish that we as a support weren't so divisive and ready to knock ideas that have the best interests of our club at heart.
It costs the club a ticket because lets face it we are always going to fill Ibrox from now to the end of the season that has been the plan since this mess started.
We have ones from America and so forth buying tickets and giving them to people, which has been happening all over the net this last couple of home games and will carry on until the end of the season.
The price of a ticket is £22 correct?
Well depending on the amount of tickets this red thing gets thats what you have cost the club by not giving that extra £10 to the RFF plus some other company has made £2.50.
And lets not forget the interest that this will give the persons bank account i dont see this being talked about?
It has cost the club the interest also.

Senseless? No more redundancies? Scarfs are stupid? Yet you are saying to put £10 into the fighting fund? That statement doesn't add up.
Our support is showing incredible loyalty by campaigns such as the red&black scarf and the fighting fund. All means of putting money into the club are a good thing, none are senseless or stupid mate. The colour of the scarf issue.. The Rangers team will be wearing Red and Black at our next home game as they usually do. We are the People.
Yes its senseless
I feel like iam repeating myself a 1000 times why is that?
Well anyway its senseless because you are costing the club the price of a ticket and plus an extra £2.50 a head not to mention the colour.
Now you tell me how that isnt senseless.

Way back in the 1980s, Bob Geldof came up with the idea of a charity record to aid the suffering people in Ethiopia. That record, Do they know it’s Christmas, sold millions of copies and raised millions of pounds for a good cause. People bought the record because they wanted to do something, and wanted to help.
Now, if Bob Geldof had gone onto TV and asked people to send in donations to help the cause, how much would have been raised. I don’t know the answer to that, but I’m pretty sure it would be no-where near what the record raised.
Sometimes a cause needs a focal point to concentrate the minds of those willing and able to help. Think about it!
Aye it would be OK if
1. The colour of the scarf resembled Rangers fans in some way.
2. If the money would go straight to the fighting fund rather than buying a ticket for a more than lighty full Ibrox anyway. (costing the club money)
3. Bob fecking Geldof got that song done for free as it was for charity NOBODY made or charged for it.

What? How are Rangers 'making' 1 million a month?
Regardless, if you think it is senseless then I can only assume you think the RFFF is senseless too.
Anyhoo, I've just bought a scarf and intend to pledge £100 to the RFFF as soon as details are up. I'll see where things stand after that and consider more if I think the schemes are being run correctly.
I forgot if you buy this scarf you have cost the club the price of a ticket plus £2.50.

Sorry what i meant was are saving 1 million a month which keeps staff there until a new owner arrives anyway.
-
Well put your ideas where your mouth is and start selling them at full cost or shut it!
7.50s better than fuck aw
No you dont need to buy a scarf.
Ally McCoist and Walter Smith have set the Fighting Fund up for this and it goes straight into the Wage bill.
This scarf thing they are only buying tickets that we would be buying anyway.
Plus your full 10 pound would be used not £7.50 if you buy this scarf you have cost the club £2.50 plus a ticket.

It's red & black because then it stands out who's in the effort of helping Rangers FC out in our troubling times just now.
Common sense people. Same way Man Utd did with the yellow & green scarfs in opposition to the Glazer's running their club although that was stupid because those fans were actually making the Glazers money buying those scarfs.
Could say the same for us...
Its senseless now anyway there will be no more redundancies at Rangers now until theres a takeover so these scarfs are stupid.
Rangers are saving 1 million pound a month now as it stands.
That was the reason of the pay cuts.
Its temporary until the new owner arrives.
So the best that the fans can do now is fill Ibrox every other saturday and make it as BLUE as possible.
-
A fucking hope there's a day soon when you can put an idea forward and there is no one giving the paranoid me against the world patter. He did this they said that, this smells of this this smells of that....grow one and get behind it.
Great idea. Going to purchase one.
No Surrender from me!
rubbish
The FULL £10 not £7.50 should have went HERE!
-
So thats 3500 x £2.50 that has been diverted away from its intended cause.
Red & black nonsense.
Exactly this is where that FULL £10 should have went instead of taking away our true colours,
-
What's stupid looking about the colours of Govan?
The scarf looks stupid.
Stop picking one sentence out of what iam saying and answer the full statement.
-
Nope, the expression means we don't get our sense of purpose from what they do or think.
You go ahead then and look like Dennis the Menace with your stupid looking scarves
I will put my 10 pound straight into the Fighting Fund without somebody taking £2.50 of me.
To me Rangers is Red White and Blue that will never change its the colours that my Forefathers where proud of.
-
Celtc or their supporters don't define us!!! Never forget that ffs.
Are you trying to tell me how the bheast thinks?
-
That's just pure unadulterated bullshit, name one company he has successfully "turned around", just one will suffice.
His own multi million pound company the one that give him the money to buy a castle.
-
indeed
Indeed it is or indeed it isnt?
-
I'd rather give £10 to the Fighting Fund which will 100% go to the club rather than £7.50 thanks.
Also 'fill the seats that all the so-called rangers fans aren't filling in the clubs hour of need.' Fuck off with that statement.
1) It's been sold out the past two games.
2) Maybe people can't afford it, you're paying for kids instead of the adults who can't afford it so less of the fucking 'so-called rangers fans' tripe.
THIS ^^^^^^^^^^^^

don't think that's right.
Prove me that iam wrong?
-
what they hate shouldn't even come into (y)our thinking. they can hate what they want, some of them probably hate looking at their own passport. It's a pity some people seem only interested about point scoring against them rather than thinking about our own traditions first and foremost.
So Orange and Blue isnt being Traditional?
-
what has this to do with the rst?
Mark Dingwallets involved and rubbing his big hands together at it.
-
Who cares? This is about Rangers.
Obviously you dont care
You must be one of the brainwashed ££?
-
The scarves are red and black to make them stand out in amongst all the standard red, white and blue ones.
To demonstrate suppport for the club.
Are the RedandBlack guys copying Manchester United?
Perhaps, but is that a such a bad idea.
We weren't the first team to have a card display, but we do it better than most.
We weren't the first team to have a fanzine, but we have a couple of good ones.
The RedandBlack guys are trying to raise money for the club, they have been open about their aims and methods.
Lets all try to rally to the cause and help Rangers in whatever way we can.
Rangers 'til I die
The bheasts dont care about red and black it will look stupid.
But they hate Red, White and Blue
and they also hate more than anything Orange and Blue.
-
I would suggest the Red and Black have more to do with the history of Rangers than Orange.
So please enlighten me how Orange has nothing to do with Rangers fans,
Do you see the way ive said fans there?
Well isnt that what this Red and Black thing is supposed to be about the fans?
But i can tell you now it isnt about the fans somebody iis lining their fat pocket with it.
-
What an absolutely brain dead response.
I right and your such a genius you have blown me away with your response.
Thats how i see it they are only copying the Mancs and we arent them we are better than them,
Our club is an Institution we are more than a football club.
-
Orange and Blue would be better.
But i dont like whos involved in this it reeks of another money spinner for the Dingwallet.
-
Craig Whyte is to successful business what Luis Suarez is to valuing diversity.
Clueless fucker.
Aye and your a multi-millionaire
3500 scarfs sold

Maybe I am wrong then maybe it's a good idea to ensure Ibrox is full until the end of the season?
But one things for sure the colour is a bad choice plus the cost and bank interest is questionable.
The money that Iam going to be giving to Rangers Is going straight to them or I am going to make sure it's in safe hands by fundraising for the R.T.I.D.N..I. And 100 percent of what I give will be going to Rangers.
If I where everyone else I'd be making sure your money is spent wisely and make sure it goes to Rangers.
