  1. Thats a very intelligent reply to the debate. There is no point in me debateing it your never going to change my mind. Keep on debateing if you want, let this thread go on another 1,000 pages if needs to be to keep you happy. The fact is slowly TBB is returning and I am over the fucking moon aboot it. We as fans should unite and bring back the song without any doubters or sceptics. I know people think that we will be punished for singing it, but if we UNITE and give argue our case then we WILL win. The term "f****n" is what they refer to themselves as and we are merely calling them what they are calling themselves. What are they going to say, " ehh a call masel a f****n but am offended when those orange bastards call me wan ", how could they ever win the argument. Especially when the term "f****n" is actually a word for a terrorist, not the word used for every catholic which they claim it means.
  2. Ive said this for a while now mate and think it would be a great idea! However would never happen due to this health and safety pish!! I think your correct in saying that this may never happen due to health and safety reasons. But how is it in places like Germany fans have standing sections, and there is no fuss made about that ? Are we as fans becoming to easy to be told what we can and cannot do ? I personally feel that if there is a big enough demand for a standing section, then there should be no other option but to grant the fans their wish. Yet people seem to think that we have no control over how OUR team's stadium is run. Shouldn't we the fans - who pay the money to sit in the stand - have the biggest say on how we would like our matchday experience to be ?
  3. I try to join in with the singing at every oppurtunity, and unlike some fans, even when we're getting beat. But my section doesn't really sing as much as I want to, and you can sense people becoming irratated because your standing and singing every 2 minutes. So wouldn't this benefit the people who get annoyed by others singing in front of them. Wouldn't it benefit the people who want to stand and sing. Wouldn't it benefit the team, with the fans getting behind them and generating a big atmosphere. This idea is nothing but good, so why is it unlikely it will ever happen ?
  4. Well said. Some of our support should start learning we don't always have to sit back and allow others to dictate what we sing. They have slipped up by singing this " Paddy McCourts f****n Army " song and we should exploit this mistake and re-introduce TBB; THEY get away with singing songs like " Glasgow Celtic IRA " and we are scared to sing a song thats belongs to many generations of fans because UEFA may punish us. How can UEFA punish us NOW, when Celtic are now referring to themselves as " fenians " and that was the only thing that was wrong with song in the first place, because the word "f****n" was deemed as offensive to catholics; But if Celtic are now referring to themselves as "fenians" how can we punished for using a term that they refer to themselves as ?
  5. Would anyone else like to see a part of the stadium that's dedicated to fans who want to stand and sing(for the full 90 minutes)? I know that people may not want to stand and sing for the full game, but couldn't we get all the fans who do want to stand and sing for the full game and get them together, creating a better atmosphere at Ibrox. I am aware that "The Blue Order" do this already, but I'm sure there are many more Rangers fans who want to participate in the singing; and if we could group these fans together on matchdays it would help improve the atmosphere because as it stands the only really good atmosphere's Ibrox generates is against the tims and on European nights.
  6. They wont have to get us in the shit if fans keep signing the billy boys they will do that themselves, and another thing YOU have had plenty time to bring Celtic down with us why havent you done it yet, Or are you just another talker. The song has been banned except it and move on. Why should my club get fined when you sing the billy boys why dont you offer to pay the fine if you think that strongly on the subject, totally agree, wish some people here would get a life. its just a fucking song. right now we need to support our CLUB, not our beliefs, not to try and down celtic, but to SUPPORT OUR CLUB But the reason for the song being banned was because the word "f****n" was used in the song. After hearing Celtic fans sing during a game " Paddy McCourts f****n Army ", it would appear that Celtic fans now refer to themselves as "fenians" therefore the word "f****n" should no longer be perceived to be offensive to the scum's supporters, therefore the reason for the song being banned in the first place no longer applies, hence we should be allowed to sing the song. Thats a stupid argument Thats like saying 'n***er' is not offensive because some black people self-apply it Not that I'm saying the two are on a par with each other, mind you I would concede that it's not a strong argument, but its not a stupid argument. If Celtic sing songs about them being "fenians" then why cant we refer to them being "fenians" in our songs ? We are simply calling them by what they are calling themselves. its about the context in which the word is used - we use it deliberately to cause offense, they dont So every song that is sung in order to wind up the opposition fans should be banned ? Obviously the song winds up the tims, but as long as the word "f****n" is not deemed to be offensive by them (which would appear not since they are singing songs about them being "fenians"), then there should be no problem singing the song. Many teams have stole our song and replaced the word "f****n" with their rivals name instead, so shouldn't all these teams using this song be penalised to ?
  7. Im confident for several reasons: Every Rangers player will be determined to make up for that shambolic performance at home. This Unirea team are pretty poor IMO, we were just much worst ON THE NIGHT! Although 4-1 is an embarassing result, 3 of their goals were deflections/OG's, and if we scored that penalty then i believe we would have won the game comfortably. So I'm predicting 2-0 Rangers. WATP !

  10. Opening Post is correct. Final ball just isn't good enough. You would think there would be at least one player in that squad who would be willing to put in the effort and do extra training to improve on their delivery. Someone should take it upon themselves to become a specialist from corner kicks and free kicks.
  11. Looked Solid, with good pace, and composed on the ball. Hope he features in the starting eleven more often.
