We lead at half time 1 - 0 , However we didnt show up for the second half in truth and lost to the better second half side ( a side we have beat home and away in the League) , That said they deserved the victory . I as Manager made a couple of selection errors so the buck stops here . Back to League Duty next week at home @ Markyate Football club. We live , we learn and we fight on.

Goalies where indeed fair game , Nat Lofthouse ( Bolton) was a great exponent of rushing the keeper and bagged a few goals this way .

We played barton Rovers in the county Cup and lost 4 -1 , we were down to 10 men after about 18 mins , the ref informed me after the game he had reviewed it in his head and feels he got it wrong so he wont be reporting it .. Of Course I thanked him kindly .
