But anyway, my view is that as WVB says we started out as a bunch of teenages wanting to start up a football team and we have grown and so has the support. I dont care why you support Rangers, if its for football reasons only thats fine, if its for the football and also as a way of expressing your protestant identity, heritage etc then I'm all for that, all that matters is you are a bear. How people choose to support Rangers is up to them. We are not sheep who go with what the hierarchy say unlike fans of certain other teams, we think for ourselves and can make our own minds up, surely these are traits of protestantism and thats how it should be. The protestant heritage is something to be celebrated not something to be embarresed about especially as it has had such a huge impact on the club and the support. Those who dont like it are not obliged to like but should surely respect it anyway. That last part is something allot of people in here will need to take notice to. But although i agree with most of what you said MC certain people won't.

Rangers is never relevant to anything you say. You talk more about the religious side to our club than the footballing side. Theres more to life than religion. I wouldn't be surprised if you weren't actually Protestant either, you just sound like most pricks from this country who claim to be one or the other but have never stepped foot inside a Church outside of a wedding, christening etc.. Well you see thats what I dont understand. 1) Are you saying then there is no connection between the club & the fans ? 2) How do equate that with the fact John Ure Primrose (Rangers chairman) shared a platform with Edward Carson to show solidatirty ?
