  1. It was done very deliberately in my opinion. I wouldn't be surprised if they anticipated the complaints before the commentary even began and have already an "explanation" ready, fabricating some technicality in not being able to refer to us simplay as Rangers.

I was pissed off that Rob Maclean continually referred to us as New Rangers but was fucking furious when he spouted the nonsense about Brechin's 106 year history in comparison to us having only weeks. He obviously knew what he was doing and it would have been okayed in advance, or even suggested by someone higher up the tree. I can't believe how bad BBC Scotland are.

  2. Can see the outcome being a 14 team league with Rangers, Dundee and Dunfermline to keep everyone happy. Playing twice, before a split with a further two games against each opponent in the relevant part of the split.

That actually sounds like quite a decent plan. I'd still rather we start again though.

  3. I have to say that Jim Traynor, for the past month or two, has been one of the only journalists to actually see through all the hate-filled propaganda and actually see the situation for what it is!

No, he's one of the only journalists to actually write about the situation for what it is! The rest know fine well but choose not to report it.

Fair play to Traynor though. He'll always have a side to him that wants to write a piece to be controversial for the sake of it but at least he's not afraid to write something that'll piss off a large number of fans of other clubs.

  4. Might we be forced to go down the route of entry to the lower English divisions if the SFA somehow uphold the transfer embargo?

We really don't have a squad to be playing anywhere in Scotland if the embargo stands. If we were to be accepted to an English league, the embargo wouldn't come in to things at all and would give us the best opportunity to grow.

  5. did they say it was from rangers last night. I might have missed something but I though it was clear it was from mih.

I'm sure they stated at the start of the piece about EBTs that the scheme was set up by the Murray group. What they then went on to do was make it look like Murray was taking money out of Rangers by associating him with all the players and Directors that took money from the scheme. Technically, they never said that it was from Rangers but the BBC would have known that this would be what a large percentage of viewers took from the programme.

    Crafty bastards.

  6. "@RFC_Official: AMcC - I have not spoken to any of the new bidders for the club."

That appears to be yet another contradicting statement, given Whitehouse's comments earlier on this week.

Duff and Phelps said that 2 of the interested parties had spoken to McCoist. Could that not have been Bill Ng and TBK?

  7. Whats to stop Ticketus putting in their OWN bid??

    or, is this idea crazy......

I've wondered about that for a while too. I guess it may be harmful for their business which obviously deals with a lot of clubs in the UK. Maybe a conflict of interest if clubs looking to "borrow" money from a company that owns a competing club. I think there's a differnce between attaching yourself to a bidder to try to safeguard the initial investment they made, and bidding in their own right to become owners of the club.
