  1. On another rangers trivia thread I asked a question about mols - offside european goal that should have counted!

The game i believe was 1-1 with greek side Panathinaikous in 2003 - however the only highlights to be found online are RangersTV archives and while they show every event in the game they missed out this one which is frankly amazing as it is absurd.

It was that game as capucho crossed fromt the right, mols ran towards the ball and flicked it from the right hand side of the 18 yard box, inside of his right foot through his legs into the far right hand corner (keepers side) of goal.

Was a great goal that even Soccer AM showed.

Does anyone know where it can be found? anyone have it on a dvd ?

Let us know lads because I've wanted that goal on my pc for years

I don't remember that to be honest, but I had a wee search myself to no avail. I found a Guardian article on the game that doesn't mention the incident either. You sure it was this game?

  2. What was your suggestion? Your thread has been merged...

Just asking what people would think about him playing for us, if the price was right. Still making mistakes as to what forum my topics should go.

Will get it right one day if not die trying lol. And thanks to whoever moved ot to suggestions (tu)

    Who did you suggest though?

  3. I heard we might not be getting a work permit agreed till mid september. How does that work?? 1month for a work permit, Ive never ever heard for awaiting that long for a permit. How come we have to wait and wait yet the other side of city already seem to have them approved before they make a bid. Makes me mad

I read somewhere that his involvement in the World Cup Qualifiers with Australia may hinge the approval of a work permit, think that might be the delay.

  4. Tbh I think we need to be going for strikers of a max age of 26, so they are fresher and have resale value.

I guess it depends on the quality of player and fee involved. There's nothing wrong with signing a 30 goal a season striker that bangs them in for a few years before retiring.

(I'm speaking hypothetically, not claiming that Caracciolo is a 30 goal a season striker)

  5. My link

The agent of Brescia striker Andrea Caracciolo says he's turned down a lucrative move to Russia.

The 29-year-old striker is looking for a transfer following Brescia’s relegation into Serie B and has been heavily linked with Rubin Kazan and Glasgow Rangers.

“Caracciolo turned down an enticing offer from Russia,” confirmed agent Vincenzo D’Amico.

“Does he want to stay in Italy? We’ll see, as first we have to evaluate the proposals that have come in. It will take time.”
