Murray tried the shares issue before. And did someone not try to lodge a bid for the club on behalf of the fans, in the assumption 40,000 of us would "invest", to take over the club 'a la' barcelona? Only a quater of that figure showed interest.

Apparently its not just football teams in simular situations to us. This sort of thing goes on in business. What scares me is, this has happened BEFORE any decisions been made on the tax case.

Its now sunk in, weve filed to go into administration. Taking everything into consideration, im starting to think Craig Whyte may have the clubs long term future in mind making this decision.
Dont get me wrong, i was sceptical of him when he first took over. But then i was a fan of Murray, after all he gave me some of the best years of my life.
Now all the memories of 9 in a row/advocaat era are starting to turn sour.
If Whyte is as big a FAN of the rangers, as he says, im sure this decision is difficult for him. Above all though, it must be neccesary.

Heres one for you all. If, and thats a massive if, a pheonix club is formed. And we were forced to climb the divisions. Would it not be better to just start in england and go the afc wimbledon route to the english league. Id say within a decade we'd be in the premiership.

There are some fucking morons in our support. Craig White inherited this mess! This was all done in the Advocaat era. David Murray (for all the good he done for us), created this black hole. We were living beyond our means chasing the european dream.
What i will say though is, White bought the club for a token £1, and at the time he did say £40m or so had been put aside for this tax case.
We need some serious clarification now Mr White.

Theres too many ifs and buts for me at the moment.
Some of the probable outcomes are scary aswell. But i know the scottish game would be a different proposition without us, and thats why i think we wont go to the wall.

I believe if he does this we need to start in Division 3....
If that happened we would lose our scottish league registration. That means starting from outside the sfl. Think of Gretna, Clydebank, and Wimbledon.
But also remember clubs who have came out of administration. Dundee and Motherwell springs to mind.

Tell you what. That Ivory Coast starting XI is very strong. On their day they'd be a match for anyone. Sometimes forget how many good players they have.

Ha ha. That reminds me of a couple of seasons ago up tannadice. Was in the front row and it was bucketing down. First 3 rows wouldnt sit on the wet seats. Some poor bugger with a walking stick sitting just behind us trying to get everyone to sit. Security guards ended up passing round bog roll to dry the seats, ha ha.

I can vaguely remember going to see the gers against partick thistle at the end of the 7 in a row season. Not sure if we drew or got beat, but we still won the league that day.

Gazzas wonder game against the sheep 8 in a row. Rod Wallaces poachers effort 1-0 against the tims at hampden. Terrific team performance against fiorentina in THAT run in the uefa cup.
So many great memories the teddy bears have gave me.
