  1.

With that theory many use. You do know the manager and chairman want us to do well, win trophys and imrpove. They both supported the club before they became manager and owner.

They do not just make bids for a laugh FFS. Do not be so silly!!!

No, they just make offers to make other people laugh. Fingers crossed this deal gets done though!

  2. Clubs think there's a bargain because we are an SPL outfit and also because of the tax case, we need to sell to buy because we have so much deadwood, these EPL teams can meet the valuations we set or deal elsewhere, it's insulting and id like to think we won't stand for it.

We cant complain. How many teams have complained about us making derisory offers in the past year? You're deluded pal.

  3. It doesnt bother me losing players like jelavic, (he can be replaced). Its the second part of this article that worries me.

Too many clubs now are coming out in public, complaining about the way we go about our business. Why are we even taking trialists on that we know we couldnt afford? Why is mccoist allowed publically announce his interest in players, knowing we can never make a bid to sign him?

From top to bottom our club is being badly managed.

Ive every sympathy for super ally as hes been promised things that just havent happened. But whoevers on charge or PR should be reigning him in. We are a laughing stock.

  4. All english and scottish leagues. Spanish, italian, german, french view only.

Start unemployed. Go on holiday for 1st season. Apply for any vacant jobs in the blue square north/south.

I got the dover job. Took them all the way to league 1. Approached by Brentford. Took the job and ended up in the Premiership. Qualified for Europe but got relagated the next season. Got the newcastle job. Won the PL 2 years in a row. DARREN FERGUSON got sacked from the rangers job after 2 seasons. I got offered the job and im now on my 1st gers season.

  5. Holt would be great but he playing in best league in the world and is norwich's captian can't see him coming to us

He cant get a game for norwich. The other week he wasnt even in the bench. Lambert prefers morison and pilkington.

  6. In all this doom and gloom i thought id start a light hearted thread.

My old granda used to love 'archie novo', and he thought 'lorensis amorusis' was a crackin big player. He also informed me last week Rangers were looking at a player from fleetwood mac.

Any other gers related mis-prenounciations from old yins?

  7. A goal scoring midfielder MUST be allys priority. The only thing is, what we need you wouldnt get much change from £5m. Money we will never have.

We'll have to just go with what weve got and see where it takes us this season. Hopefully get Naismith back for the start of next.

  8. Ha ha. wish i had listened to clyde 1 last night. Thats got to be a silly rumour. No way would McCoist walk away from the gers. He must be unhappy the way things have went for him in the transfer market though. The goodwillie fiasco, scott allen, cuellar, not to mention Ortiz.

Dont forget how big a loss Naismiths been. This bad run started when he got injured.

  9. In terms of what? Stadium size? Attendances? Trophies? Spending ability? Wage paying ability? History? Fan base? What? Many different aspects make a club a 'big' club.

Stadium size, all bar three or four.

Attendances, all of them bar three or four.

    Trophies, all of them.

    Spending ability, none of them.

Wage paying ability, possibly only 4 or 5 clubs.

History, all but one, possibly two.

Fan base, all but two, in the modern day that may have lowered with the global interest in the EPL.

We are a big club but not as big as our fans think we are. We are a different type of big club, we are not a rich big club, although rich in Scottish football terms, we are a club who need to be successful on the park to stay amongst the worlds elite due to the lack of exposure of Scottish football, we are slowly slipping away because of on-field issues, have done for many years. We must do better in European competition and by better i mean, compete, thats all we can expect. To compete with any given 11 men for 90 mins of any given team.

    Everything that guy said. ^^^

  10. Aye, but so many people died on that day. Theres a line, and its been crossed. I'm not disregarding stuff, so called rangers fans have done in the past. Theres families out there still affected by what happened and these scumbags should be punished.

  11. Good stuff, exciting times ahead for the club and fans. Possibly the man to help Ali Russell with redevlopment plans?

Welcome to the club Mr Ellis.

Aye. Lets see what hes all about. The surrounding area requires major investment anyway. If he lines his own pockets in the process then thats his business. Can only be good for the club.
