  1. Make it a point of never wearing anything green let alone one of their paedo scarfs!

When I was 5, it was dead important to me that there were more blue things than green things.

When I got to adding the grass, I was fucking sweatin', then when I added the blue ocean we were on easy street, and when I added the blue sky I knew blue ruled - we were The People!

As my dad said about Baxter, no right foot , no speed and couldn't tackle but still the greatest player he's ever seen in our famous jersey.

Yerr Da was dead right on all four counts!

Being a young(ish) whipper snapper in my late (really late) 20's i never had the privilege to see the great man.  I did have the private to see the great hammer every week, so he wins it for me.

I had the privilege of watching both every week.

Trust me, Goat, the Hammer was indeed great, but it's not even close.

When Pele says Slim should have been a Brazilian that gives you some idea.

Baxter is in the category of one of the greatest players who ever played the game.

Yea mate; I'll be fine no worries at all, as I will improve, but the subject of this thread is young Nemane and should he get a chance in that position as opposed to Windass who seems to be Pedro's golden boy at the moment, yet has not improved one iota since he came into the side. This might sound strange coming from me, but I would play Kenny Miller there before Windass. Miller has not the pace but by fuck his football brain and his shooting are light years away from what Windass offers.

At 2-0 up on the 78th minute it was the ideal time to put Nemane on to see what he could do against a tiring 10 man Saints yet Pedro waited until the 92nd minute to drag Windass off; to me that was a missed opportunity.

Why Nemane wasn't put on sooner so we could see what he has to offer certainly did my nut in especially considering Windass's awful contribution.

But y'know, Oz, your situation is a reminder to all of us that there are some things, believe it or not, that are more important that football.

Thanks mate....There is a fair chance I won't be posting for a while because starting from tomorrow it's "wall to wall" tests and examinations with Neurosurgeons, Ophthalmologists etc so all the best to you and the guys on RM.,

Your spirit is strong, Oz, and in those moments when it's all getting to you a wee bit, remember, mate, the strength and power of the blue blood running in your veins which will get you through it all.

    All the best!

  6. The cool brilliance of that fucking unbelievable save on Van Hookidonkey with the whole Broomloan bursting with rancid paedos behind him.

Andy, in a instant, single handedly shattering every one of the scum on the park, and in the stand.

After watching Fod's experience in front of the baying Broomloan in the last game against the filth, I think he'd benefit from a wee chat with Andy over a pint.

  7. Best memory of John was at the piggery when wee Johnstone had the ball at the half way line on the wing doing his usual shite - going round in endless circles staying in the same place, getting nowhere.

The jungle, as usual, were lapping up his bullshit. Greig had enough of watching his shite, nonchalantly paraded over, shifted his hips and there was the wee ginger bastard flying high six feet in the air, landing on the other side of the track and almost rolling into the jungle.

As we pished ourselves laughing in the Rangers end, the jungle was fucking bealin', foaming at mouth to get to big John.

I heard the biggest danger in those days was a rival scheme spotting you at a game, and that there used to be running battles between gangs in the terraces with everyone giving it "your tea's oot!" and "mon ya bas" etc etc

Running battles between rival gangs were nothing compared to the dangers of jumping across and navigating the overflowing rivers of pish from the lavvies, and those not bothering to use the lavvy.

  9. Mentioned in a previous thread ages ago...

Ma Da took me my first game in the stand at 5 years old.

During it, he asked me how I liked it?

I told him is it wis no' bad.

And you could see he was a bit disappointed by my response.

So he said, 'where would you rather be, then?

I said, ' doon therr,' pointing at the middle of the Copland Rd end that was going ballistic.

He said I was too wee, adding ma maw wouldn't let him because it was too dangerous.

After that, he assured her we were never in the Copland - forgetting to mention we were in the terracing doon in Davy Wilson's corner bordering the Copland :) (my claim to fame being the front page photo of Rangers programme for the Real Madrid match)

Truly feel sorry for the new generations of Bears who have never experienced the uncontrolled mayhem when the old Ibrox was full and exploding in delirious pandemonium .

Went to the Indy 500 with 500,000 in the stadium - it was a like a morgue compared to the Old Ibrox.

    Nothing like it!

  10. In 2012, on his Scots Law blog, Paul McConville, was attacking Rangers mercilessly online.

In one of many battles with him, he slagged Rangersmedia. I defended RM vigorously, referring to it a great site.

RM, however, has gone considerably downhill since those days.

The generally high quality of content and wit by a large core of contributors in the past has now been replaced, for the most part, by a small core group who, perhaps, for lack of pussy, spend their time in the infinite boredom of fishing and bullshit rather than on worthwhile topics and discussion.

    Baby boy!

Got right battered by the wife during delivery, she said it was just 'reflex' response, and not because she caught me earlier on RM during her contractions, aye, right!

Btw, when the wife wasn't watching, I asked the wee guy what kind of effort Bruno had put in for Rangers compared to his effort for Portugal.

Of course, he couldnae reply but his diaper was full.

So I'll leave it up to you to decide if he considered Bruno's effort thus far as pish or shite ;)

Your first paragraph made me laught - I'd love you to find any post by me calling any player or manager past or present a cunt - there's 20 odd thousand of them - if I've ever done that I'd be shocked.

...emm ... didn't say you did, mate!

Btw, if you get an invite to Bruno's wain's birthday party in the next few weeks, might be wise to have another arrangement planned on that day.

@Bluepeter9 may be as you say a wanker, he can certainly create that impression for those not able to see through his posts but I don't believe I have ever heard him bad-mouth Rangers players, in fact quite the opposite.

As for posting 'constructive criticisms to motivate particular players. ' I am sure that those players who actively follow RM are suitably motivated, perhaps Bruno only reads Portuegese fan forums.

    You didn't understand the comment.

    I didn't state bluepeter9 badmouthed players.

What I did say was: "I never come close to calling an active player or manager a cunt. I save that for wankers like yourself."

Which actually means I save usage of the term 'cunt' for wankers like bluepeter9.

Knowing how the comments of all of us managers on the site are enthusiastically read by players, I compensated for the language barrier and sent Bruno the same message, via google translate, on a Portuguese  forum.

Bruno pm'd me - thanking me for the motivational comments, and said that he was well aware that bluepeter9 was a cunt for badmouthing him, and he'd be getting a rocket up his arse when he returned from international duty.

I wrote back and told him google translate, as usual, had fucked up his pm -  by translating 'pinata' as 'rocket'.

At least we agree bluepeter9 is a 'wanker' which, btw, when translated into Portuguese is 'bluepeter9'.

You didnt witness what he did on the picture either, but it happened. In regards to 'take no prisoner' leadership.. he hasnt been here that long yet.. he might just become that player.

.... emm... you're dead right, it is indeed a fact that I didn't see what he did 'on' that picture (I hope it wasn't anything too improper); however, I did see what he did 'in' that picture, and based my comment on it!

Since the wife is at this moment screaming in the bedroom - dilating and having contractions in an effort to give birth to a future Rangers midfielder, I think it's prudent for me to get off the site before she demonstrates to Bruno just what exactly 'taking no prisoners' is all about.

I'll be sure to send a pic ;)

  15. 12 minutes ago, markem said:

You have formed an opinion on him and that's fair enough.  In my opinion you are being harsh in the extreme and would argue what you cannot do is use a picture and claim it's clear proof - it's not.

For me, and that other bloke - y'know, the one who coined the phrase about pics and a thousand words, the pic of him in a training session for Portugal is clear proof of Bruno's extreme commitment for Portugal which I have yet to see in a Rangers jersey.

And I'd agree it's harsh - the harsh truth.

  16. 3 minutes ago, markem said:

Baxter that picture doesn't clearly prove anything.

Give the guy a chance ffs.  Has he been brilliant for us so far? Perhaps not - however the comments and conclusions from some on this guy after half a dozen games (not all of them bad games btw) are bonkers.

Remember last year when a corner against us was like a penalty kick?

I simply don't see the effort from Bruno that I think he's capable of.

    We agree to disagree.

  17. 3 minutes ago, johanhentze said:

Proves absolutely nothing. Maybe he does that in training all the time?!

I've not witnessed this kind of effort, and the 'take no prisoner' leadership Bruno is known for in any game he's played for us this season.

  18. 7 hours ago, Bluepeter9 said:

 one wonders why you're so anti a Rangers player?

his injury was obviously more minor than major - not minor as in a bruise and not major like in a leg break but somewhere in between - something that took a couoje of weeks to get over but not months. Everyone who plays football at any level has had those type of knocks.

i go back to my original point - the medical staff and the player are better positioned to judge than any 'expert' on the sidelines - you have it in for alves - fine - so be it - but accusing a player of sandbagging is pretty fucking low.

As a matter of fact, in the years I've been coming on RM, the one factor above all others which causes me to take breaks away from the forum is excessive abuse of players eg. I've never come close to calling an active player or manager a cunt. I save that for wankers like yourself.

My remarks about Bruno, as are all my comments concerning active players, are constructive criticisms to motivate particular players. They are neither abusive or 'anti a Rangers player.'

And nothing could  be further from the truth than your insinuation 'that I have it in for Alves'. I was ecstatic when we signed an iconic leader like Bruno. He was exactly the kind of aggressive 'take no prisoners' leader our club was lacking.

However, in my estimation, he has not been a shadow of that player he's capable of being, and is putting more effort in during Portuguese training sessions than anything I've seen him do in a Rangers jersey, and this photo clearly proves it.

  19. McGregor did excel though - when the real fight with Mayweather started, I've never see a finer example of such cowardly running backwards in a boxing ring.

Never learned that particular boxing strategy in Joe Aitchison's gym.

Then, again, Conner, coming from an irish republic known for blowing up innocents, well ..... cowardly acts are just bred in the bone, aren't they!

So you think his injury was minor ? Really! Ffs!

So you actually think Bruno's injury was serious, and that a player is capable of such an acrobatic move a couple of weeks after a serious injury! lol

Like fuck did he have a serious injury! This photo is clear evidence his injury was minor, and that, at this point in time, his heart is with Portugal getting to Russia while his retirement package is clearly at Ibrox.
