  1. WTAF? OMFG WTF LULZ!

    I think he's joking, relax.

As for Boca, i didn't think he was that bad, either taking a while to adjust or he wants to be elsewhere, time does the window officially shut at again?

Like MasterD said, it's probably more to do with the MLS window. Doesn't open next until the third week of January.

  2. Every new member should be told to take a picture of themselves in a Rangers top whilst holding an object randomly selected by admin that can be found in most homes, like a tv remote or something. Surely this would prove them to be legit Rangers fans, as a taig would struggle to find a photo of someone in a Rangers top holding a random object, an object that admin would select.

Either this is a good idea or I've finally lost my mind.

Lost your mind. Your logic should have been none of them actually own TVs, and shops don't put the remotes on display with the TVs therefore they wouldn't be able to steal them in order to pass the Mols94 photo exam.

  3. Some websites aimed hatred and vitriol at the current owners - in fact it was so bad they were orchestrating hatred, vitriol and death threats to people like Glenmuir.

Potential owners were not spared the hatred and vitriol either as Bill Miller will testify.

But thats all in the past now cos they can sense some crumbs off the table.

    Hypocrits.

Nor were the ladies answering the phones at Miller Industries, or the email accounts of seemingly any MI employee they could get hold of. Because, you know, they deserved it, apparently.

  4. Hately and Murphy would be good signings as they are still fairly young and can also cover a few roles.Hately is good with set pieces also which would be a bonus.

Like the wean of Hately, although he had a chance to come before. But he can play just about everywhere on the pitch, and, as you said, is a set piece dynamo of sorts, at least in Scottish terms.

  5. Think that was why Aberdeen Asset Management bailed out of Aberdeen. No way they would have voted against Rangers so they got rid of their shares before the vote and resigned as directors.

Criminal proceedings have a way of doing that to people sometimes.

  6. Last year games not involving Rangers had TV viewing figures averaging 180,000. This year it has dropped to 50,000. A drop of around 70%. I reckon Rangers fans taking no interest in the SPL is responsible for a large amount of that drop. Whose to say those newspapers with all the tim commentators won't find a similar drop in audience. In other words, ignoring them and doing nothing is probably more damaging to these clubs, but they're so thick to realise it.

I still like to see one shareholder at an SPL club question their directors as to why they knowingly put their company at a disadvantage. But that would require strong independent thought, or the ability to read, even.

  7. Mate I was one of those pointing out the original 'Rangers Unite' member who just turned up here and started trying to get everyone onboard & at that time he was unsure of facts, unsure of, if & when money was needed & unsure of giving details of those involved etc etc etc

He then got very offensive and rude to RM members who questioned him.

Now I will say it again, I applaud everything they are trying to do as I know they are fans, just more clarity at the time would have helped.

I trust these lads more than Dingwll and RST if that helps (tu)

We had to get better and changes were made accordingly. 00000042.gif

  8. Can anyone point me to any published minutes of this decision?

They offered us a meeting, which is the "first meeting" or however it's termed in our statement, and we accepted under specified conditions. As I said in the RU thread, it's felt by our group that the good feelings brought forward from that initial meeting, which included SD and Chris, were cast aside in the followup meetings.

  9. Hey Shane - what are RU doing issuing "entirely inaccurate" statements?

I wouldn't classify our statements in such a way. But, as I said, I've taken on the viewpoints of Chris about the process via email and I think that's where we'll keep it for now.

  10. Were you carved up by Chris/Fury and RST ?

Carved up? No. I'm no one's turkey.

Listen, we're going to have differing opinions on the meetings. As I told Chris, due to my being in America much of my knowledge is secondhand, obviously. I gladly took his perspective on board and I'm sure he'll be happy to continue our email dialogue accordingly happy.gif

  11. On the RST statement, don't have much to say. We released our statement and it's followup. Obviously some people have disagreements with that and I've taken their opinions on board. I've had talks with the rest of the people in RU (all of whom's contact info is available on our site, despite what some people continue to peddle about) and even Chris since last night because we're nice civil adults. craphead2.gif
