Actually monitoring their songs is acting like a tim, yes. Posting a thread asking if anybody else was on sentry duty, in case we missed something naughty, that is acting like a tim.
If a scum fan came up to me and shouted a load of sectarian abuse in my face, I might get the police on him. Actually, I'd probably just kick his cunt in. But I can't actually imagine a situation arising where I would witness it, otherwise. I don't watch their matches. I can't understand why anyone would, except perhaps to see them get pumped by Juve, for example.
I mean, people are free to spend their time as they choose, it's not my place to tell anybody what to do, but don't think that just because we're all Rangers fans and have mutual interests that we aren't also entitled to think that it's really fucking pathetic.
Monitoring it is a bit obsessed, I'll grant you, but if someone makes me aware of it, I'll maybe have a think at rattling off a complaint to FARE or whoever deals with this these days.
Think what you like, this place would be fucking chronic if we all thought the same thing.

Of course it's bollocks. You know what's worse than being treated unfairly though?
Acting like a scum fan.
Life is unfair. Take control of what you can.
So wanting to complain if that lot sing punishable songs is acting like a tim? Riiiiiiiight.
I can control who I complain to, if I think it prudent or fair.

I really couldn't tell you what they might or might not be getting away with, because I've paid about as much attention to them in the last year as I have to Accrington Stanley. I'm about as bothered by what they get away with as I'm bothered by what Lazio or Juventus or any other club that sings questionable songs gets away with. Which is to say that I despise bigotry in general, and disapprove of it wherever it is found, but I'm not going to sit there listening intently to another team's support, noting down what they sing so that I can "level the playing field", and I would seriously question the sanity, though not the good intentions, of any of our fans who would do so.
I'd rather that we didn't get punished for stuff because we haven't done anything, rather than just because nobody has grassed us up.
I'm not saying everybody needs to pay attention and listen in so that we get treated fairly, but do you not think it's bollocks if that lot get away with singing songs they shouldn't, where we've been punished for in the past.

I didn't say that I don't care about the mismanagement of priorities among our support.
This "if you don't care, why are you posting in this thread?" response, which always turns up in these threads, completely misses the point. It's moronic. I don't care about Celtic. I do care about Rangers fans embarrassing themselves.
So you don't care if that lot get away scot-free for the same fans behaviour that we've been punished for?
-
I really don't care what they're getting away with.
So much so that you're the leading poster in this thread.

Because if it was us, we'd have got a doing from the authorities. Plus, as petty as it is, that mhob would be looking to drop us in it without blinking an eye. Sometimes fire with fire is the way to go.

6 balls in a over
Cheers.

How many bowls are in an over? I know so little about this game.

Big save from Westy. Usually his arse collapses later than this though.

Me and the old man have been buying shares every month since the flotation, just small amounts, and we'll continue to do so, though it's not purely for financial reasons, far more emotional ones.
If it ever rises to £3 or £4 a share, maybe we'll sell some, but that's a long way off. Plus, if we had any money to invest now, we'd buy a load more than the usual since it is low.
-
Aye the teams that do well get special dispensation, they get to compete for the trophy. Fucking halfwit.
-
We can't sign this guy quickly enough, yet others are saying we're buying above our current level and spending too much on wages. Cannae win.
-
I agree it wont happen now, But i think if it did we would bring this corrupt cabal down.
Scottish football wull never take a positive step forward while its controlled by the Filth.
Take it to a court of law. We can't compete in Europe as it is just now so might as well.

If you look at Smiths first season after taking over from PLG, he brought most of a team in and won the league.
No he didn't. We won two cups, UEFA final and were robbed of the SPL title.

This poll will be worthless if they release that goalie top.
Please do it.

Cavani signs for PSG for £55m. Might already have been posted but haven't seen it.

(Apart from a smallish fee) it's easy to buy shares on the open market - that gives you a real vote at the Agm - you can proxy that vote to anyone you wish or act collectively and you can buy these shares even In your son or daughters name. So the fan ownership model is in existence - all we need is cash not a collective!
Me and my old man have been buying a small amount of shares each month since they were floated. I feel far more comfortable having control of my vote than the RST, and can say the same for the old man.
-
So you buy shares through the RST, except the RST get the shares? And you can't attend an AGM? And people bought into this?
-
Union beat them 3-0.
-
Props to Charlie and Puma, that's a cracker.
-
QoS. Get them back for last season.
-
Never trust a scum fan, especially if their anything like what I come across in person! They don't even watch the games.
Aye, right enough, the only games that lot watch are ours.
-
That team only scored two pens mate.
One of the tims in work told me three, I figured he'd know what went on. Ah well.
