Look mate go get your ticket, you will feel better within yourself. Real fans follow the team how they can and when they can.
I'll be following the team all season. At some games when I can, in the pub, on tv at home for others.
-
Attending is the essence of supporting. It's what you do as a supporter, or if for whatever reason you can't, it's what you aspire to do.
I will be attending this season.
-
No - you felt the need (fuck knows why) to publicly state that you will only pick and choose your games.
To me that means you are either going
a) Because of the calibre of opposition
or
b) Because of the particular tournament we are playing in
I and many others go to see the Rangers regardless of the opposition, tournament or form.
That's what 'supporters' do.
I did, all of last season, all of the especially-dreadful 03-04 Ostenstad season, any others. You seem to be confusing 'supporting' and 'attending'.

It'd stop me having negative feelings. ....Definitely worth it.
Anyway, this thread isn't about the article I penned, so if swally or anyone else has anything to say, use that thread or PM and let this one get back on track.

We need to sell season tickets more than we need folk 'picking and choosing games'.
Admit your mistake, buy a season book and all will be forgiven! You'll be back in the bosom!
If I didn't regard you as a Rangers supporter, I'd probably have used harsh and abusive language towards you by now (shivers at the thought)
We needed it more last season than this, when I managed to get one. Apparently we've sold more by this point this year than we have in any other year? Even if I got one now, there's no way it'd stop the snidey digs or accusations of not being a real fan anyway.

4 years at uni and the best you can do is steal patter from an Irn Bru bottle? Anyhow, good numbers so far. A lot of people will be buying STH's during the public sale, myself included, so should add up to a tidy sum. Great to see our supporters stand by the Club and stay for the next round of the fight back. Makes me proud to be a Bear.

Sorry?
I can't see where I said that?
I'm not renewing this season, and your response was saying that I'm not acting like a supporter. So only people who renew their STs are acting like supporters?
-
If you want to be treated like a Rangers supporter act like one
So unless you have a season ticket, you're not a supporter?
-
Oh dear - raw nerve?
Nope, but if you want to be treated like an adult, act like one.

Senna and his two mates will be beeling as they stroll through Braehead shops on a Saturday afternoon
Grow up ya fanny.

Longmuir is getting paid off as things stand. (according to the BBC anyway)
Get him in as our next chairman.
-
uve said that to every person whose replied to u tnight, I taught paired reading in school so im amazing at reading lol?!?!?
anyway im away to make money so i can spend on Rangers night night
Then you just ignored it completely. Which would have saved you writing that reply. Good for you.
-
Maybe stenhousemuir are providing a token proddy?
Hahaha, that'd sum up Scottish Football to a tee right now.
-
Alloa ran by a bitter tarrier as well....
Didn't know that, but hardly a surprise now.

debating how to rip Rangers apart??? well done Senna ffs!!!
See if one person agrees with u, here that sennas right by the by im no renewing my ticket or here i think ill just pick my games.... guess what? is it not registering with you 1 bit?? WE NEED THE SEASON TICKET MONEY NOW!!! see when Rangers win the SPFL in 2 year time, cause we will as were winners, i hope u remember ur selfish debate could have cost the club £350 nuthin to you obviously but everything to all us supporters.
You didn't read any of what I replied to you.

I don't have journo qualifications. Are you still working on yours freshman? Your wee essay was counter productive. It served no positive purpose. You danced into a minefield and are trying to back track. You failed. I hope your next effort is better. Only way is up.
I graduated with honours in journalism, thanks. I didn't think you did tbh. It's not about serving a purpose, RM is not a site with an agenda, it's about debate - that's what a forum is for, no?

05/06 we lost at Pittodrie and then 3-0 to Hibs (Sproule hattrick) very early on. Hearts were unbeaten up until mid October IRRC.
Must be thinking of another season.
-
If he signed, sure, but I don't want him at present. Don't need another striker.
-
I think so. I think we won 6 or 7 SPL games in a row and had a few decent CL results, then we collapsed from then on.
Aye, that happened twice under Eck. Happened again in the 05-06 season, I think. Eight wins on the spin, beat the tims and then dropped points to Hearts before they sacked Burley?
-
No i mean to be on the new SPFL board
Look at the teams there - Tims, Sheep, No Refunds, the D1 Splitters - the person/people that picked that are going to want us nowhere near power in the league boardroom.
-
Wasnt that the helicopter sunday season?
Nah season before. I bought my first ST that year on the back of Eck doing the treble and then we subsequently sold Fergie, Amo and half the squad. Seeing the de Boers play together was something though.
-
Why if we were due to be made full members of SPFL were the biggest club in Scotland not invited to the table?
I assumed we were there?
If not, maybe because until the meeting was ratified and concluded, we were still associate members?
-
Cracker.
I remember that being one of the highlights that season, and there weren't many. Stadium went mental, think we finished 3-1 winners, Arveladze maybe?
-
im no as articulate as you but thats my point exactly. no interest in slating a fellow bear but when i and so many others realise how UNBELIEVABLY important our season ticket holders are at this moment in time, it is like getting a big kick to the baws when guys like Senna write these things.... Senna i can read and we all can read so we get ur point why did u feel u had to write that? to let out ur guilty concience or to get urself noticed? cause it defo wasnt to stir debate to the benefit of OUR football team.
Do you honestly think that people are going to decide upon their ST decision based on what I've said? And if so, surely you must think that the same people could be swayed every bit as much by DJW's piece on why you should renew?
It's about debate. If we all agreed with each other about everything on here, RM would cease to have a purpose. As I said earlier, my hugely-positive article on the 2003 OF League Cup Final win got around 10 replies iirc.
More than 28,000 fans have already renewed their season tickets
